Amazing little spot in a remote stretch of the province. Everything is top notch, the hot springs pools are fantastic. So refreshing to soak in the 40 degree hot pool then plunge into the 14 degree cold pool. The restaurant is high end, the food is fantastic. Our cottage was basic, but we were in the middle of the wilderness, so it was perfect. Hiking trails and beach adventures await too. There is no cell reception here, so you are kind of off the grid. Spotty Wi-Fi available, but don't rely on a connection to the outside world. Sit back, relax and enjoy!

I want to keep this place a secret, but it was just too good not to give it a review. We were there for a 50+ person family reunion and it was the perfect setting for our group. We stayed in a dog friendly cabin while the rest of our extended family stayed in the newer Chalets. There was the perfect amount of privacy for our family reunion, with a perfect balance of wilderness and human made amenities. It has a terrific layout for those groups who don't want to be disturbed or don't want their excited conversation bothering others. The restaurant had phenomenal food and better than expected prices. The chickpeas are tasty if you like a little spice. The hot springs were extremely relaxing and the pool was never crowded for the entire weekend we were there.

We recently had a 2 night stay at this facility. While the rooms were excellent, the same can not be said for the Kingfisher Restaurant. For advertised high end dining, there is absolutely no ambiance. With the hard surface ceiling, walls and floors any sound echoes all through the place. The drink shaker echoes all through the dining area from the bar and voices and laughter can be very irritating. The food is not any where near what one would expect. The beef was extremely tough and the salmon was very dry and course. The waiter did not acknowledge that there could be a problem with the food and just walked away. If we go to Halcyon again we will either drive to Nakusp for meals or bring our own. Local bars here in Calgary provide a far superior quality of fish and beef and ambiance.

Great place to take family for a weekend getaway. Very relaxing, friendly staff and the accommodations (which come at a variety of price points) are excellent. I would come here every year if possible.

Amazing views and hardly anyone at the pool. We had a great day just stopping in for a lunch and a quick dip. Lousy service at the restaurant though. There was only one waiter on and the place was full. Food wasn't that good either. Might have been the same situation in the kitchen. Thank goodness for the great views though!

We heard about this place from a local who said the views and the pools were amazing so we had to go see for ourselves. The front desk clerks were friendly and super helpful, the pools were clean and the lifeguard on duty was very nice.

Even though the place and surroundings were beautiful the restaurant left a lot to be desired. Food was sub quality, it was never that busy and the ambience was poor. Plus we had to wait 50 minutes for our food.

What an amazing placement for a hot spring. Comfortable cabins, amazing layout and really taken away from the everyday. The restaurant is first class and food was prepared in amazing time. Will be back many times.

This was my first yoga retreat, but my 3rd time traveling from Alberta with my brother for our yearly road trip to Halcyon hot springs. Beautiful, clean studio cabin, Amazing scenery, the best food I’ve ever tasted in my life. Amazing knowledgeable yoga instructors Roedelle, Rina and Cheryl, 3 very caring ladies. We feel amazing, relaxed and inspired. The hot springs water there is amazing with no sulfur smell, leaves your skin soft and feels wonderful. I highly recommend this place for healing and extreme relaxation.

Restaurant staff & food at Kingfisher are absolutely wonderful! We are frequent flyers here & highly recommend Kingfisher. Client Relations on the other hand is bar none the most unpleasant experience. Michael at the front desk has never been accommodating for us nor our clients. Several of our bookings have been misplaced or simply forgotten about. There has never been any compensation or even an apology for these frequent "mishaps. " If you are looking for a get-away, do your research. There are many other wonderful options in the surrounding area if customer service & security are imperative for your stay!

Very beautiful environment. Family or couple can spend a whole day in and out the pools and enjoy the great food their restaurant serves.

Amazing healing waters. They are doing yoga retreats starting this spring. I am excited to check those out. The whole environment is spiritual and full of trees and majestic mountains. Nowhere better!

This place is really wonderful. The last time I was here I was really young an I had an absolute blast. The scenery surrounding the resort is beautiful, the staff are extremely kind and helpful, and there are tonnes of immunities including pools and hot tubs.

The hot springs are hot tubs… that are natural to my knowledge. There are a few different temperature tubs as well as a cold tub to do contrast dips. There are also a few swimming pools. Had a blast on my stop.

Spectacular view from the well appointed pool area. Very relaxing atmosphere on a wonderful sun-filled autumn day! The hot spring facility as well as the accommodations in the spectacular mountain and lakes setting call to me frequently, enticing a return visit…

Great dine and dip deal for lunch. Had the lamb dip and soup. Both were good but the eau jus was cold. Good experience overall.

Stayed in one of the cottages for a couple nights. There's no phone signal but they do have Wi-Fi that reaches all the places you could stay. Service is great, the hot springs are great. Has some hiking trails around if you're into that. It's a nice resort when you want to get away and relax.

My partner and I come here often. We most recently stayed in one of there cabins. It was cozy, close to the pools and came with all necessities! The robes are SO soft. And as always the pools didnt disappoint! Only downfall was that the internet gets shut off by the morning. I tried to access my email and the password had already changed by 7am.

My wife and I had a great relaxing weekend there. Rooms were so cozy. No cell service was a surprise, but made for a nice quiet trip.

Absolutely gorgeous location, cute and comfortable cabins and cottages, and over the top customer service! I recommend this hot springs to everyone going to BC. Just be aware before you get there that there is no cell service and limited Wi-Fi.

Amazing place but not quite 5 stars detailed review below: if your driving here with a trailer and your coming from revelstoke area be prepared to take a very wide turn, or get stuck backing out on the highway in a 4 point turn like I did. rv spots are tiny. the restaurant is amazing food 5/5 for drinks and food the view is pretty nice but the trees have grown and blocked half of it. Well constructed pools but nothing natural looking about them who even knows if they are real hot springs. Would be nice if they kept the natural theme when they made the pools so that really killed the vibe for us we wanted to feel rocks and nature a bit more. another thing we noticed about the restaurant is the bathrooms are down a pretty large flight of stairs, be careful if you have any walking issues or if you have drank a few at the bar. all in all I think their are better hot springs out there for cheaper but the food was amazing and it is still a nice place. Very private but sadly not adult only, at these prices we expected an adult only facility but had kids in the pools.

Beautiful location, great pools, and clean change rooms! We experienced what I think was an unusual amount of bugs, but we still thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The rapid swimsuit dryers in the change rooms were the perfect touch for our quick visit. Definitely worth a visit, next time we'd choose the lunch and swim option!

My wife and I took a short honeymoon here after our wedding in order to unwind and relax. Really couldn't have asked for anything better than Halcyon for what we were after. Since there's no cell service and Wi-Fi is limited, it's the perfect spot to visit to escape and really take in the area. The hot springs were wonderfully relaxing and views from the pool were outstanding. I definitely recommend renting a canoe/SUP/Kayak from Halcyon to really take in Arrow lake and explore as there's tons of cool little rock beaches to explore. While there is only one restaurant there, the food at Kingfisher is excellent and surprisingly well priced. We'd come back to Halcyon in a heartbeat!

We loved this place. So peaceful and serene. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was lovely. The hot springs are nice and do not smell. This is a more sophisticated place compared to Ainsworth which we love as well. The restaurant has great food. We will definitely be back. One of our new favorite places.

Amazing, stayed in one of the loft cabins has a little fireplace very clean and comfortable. Front end was very friendly and accommodating they made you feel like you are the only customer there. Restaurant, gorgeous view, nice dining room. Food was out of this world wait staff very friendly efficient but a bit slow. Last but not least the hot springs, I've been coming to this place since it was a hole in the ground with hot water coming out and nothing else around and I was heartbroken to hear that it had been developed. After having come here and seeing what they've done with the place I'm very impressed. Someone mentioned too much chlorine in the water I didn't find that at all. To the staff and owner … nice work sure enjoyed my stay. Just to benchmark this review I'm kind of a cranky guy who doesn't like much and am the first to complain if things aren't right, but by that same prerogative I feel compelled to give this place a top notch review.

Magical family or girls weekend getaway. Great comfortable cabins winter or summers. With young kids too — ours were toddlers and we all loved it!

We stayed at a cottage. Beautiful inside. Full bath, queen size bed/ microwave/ TV with dvd player and a place to rent dvds. Pool is nice size, hot tubs are just right. Didnt get to eat at the resturant but the menu looked great. Great staff and very friendly. And all for a great price concedering the hot tubs were included highly recommended.

I stayed at studio 6B and there were multiple ants and bugs inside the studio that entered through a gap between window screen frame and window frame. My daughter was bitten by ants in the bedroom. After arrived at home we found lots of bug bites on our bodies. My wife and I still experience itchiness and I am not sure what kind of strange bugs. Another complaint is there is much chlorine in the warm pool in the hot springs. There was a lingering chlorine scent on my skin even after taking a shower after using the pool.  I gave my feedback to customer service center but don't receive any reply.

Excellent hot springs. Clean, remote, and relaxing. Great pool temperatures, cute cottages and cabins. The perfect weekend getaway. I highly recommend!

The rooms are great with a really nice view of the lake and the hot springs are very relaxing. But the service wasn't the best and the Wi-Fi was terrible. All in all a great vacation with a beautiful location.

I attended a week long meeting at halcyon. The rooms where nice, clean, and comfortable. The service was great. The pools were relaxing. The for was great. Only issue is the guest Wi-Fi is incredibly slow.

Service was fast and friendly. The location was clean and we'll maintained.

I loved the quality service everyone gave us especially in the restaurant overall it was a great visit with excellent service.

We took the grandson for a swim in the hot spring pools, then a relaxing lunch/diner in the restaurant. The swim was wonderful and met great people from out of town. The restaurant food was wonderful and excellent service. Had a very enjoyable time.

This was my 2nd time at Halcyon, we stayed in unit 10B which is beautiful but we unfortunately could not get any service for internet. We were also extremely unsatisfied with our Hot pool experience, we waited until 9 pm to go which was listed as quiet time the pool was full to the brim with noisy children, we finally left at 10 pm. We were not the only unhappy couple that had waited to have some quiet time in the pool, it left us discouraged about returning.

Worst holiday ever when we checked into our cabin we booked there was absolutely no which we were told there would be the cabin was a hotbox with only 1 stand-up fan that was less then effective there was no hair dryers no shampoo. Not to mention the fact there was a maintenance fellow there that was working on the outside of our cabin for the 2 days we were there. So we got to listen to the drilling sawing, hammering, we also got to enjoy the paint fumes. We went to the kingfisher restaurant for dinner the first night we were served warm water from a vine bottle then we ordered the artisan bread as an app. As the waitress brought it to our table she had spilled the balsamic vinegar into the basket and left it on our table we ordered the haida gwaii plate the halibut was so over cooked it was like rubber the 1 shredded prawn again was rubber tasting the mussels had not been cleaned so 2 bites and we were eating sand. Which by the way the waiter had spilled on me when he brought it to the table then had the nerve to complain that he burnt his hand no sorry or anything else on Monday morning when we were checking out the girl behind the desk called housekeeping to check our cabin before giving us our damage deposit back very insulting. I felt like she was insinuating that we were thieves when she asked how our stay was I told her and she shrugged her shoulders as if to say well to bad I would never recommend this place to anyone it truly was that bad.

I was very disappointed on re-visiting this establishment after my last visit two years ago. The pool itself was in poor repair with missing tiles and stains, but the worst part of the experience was the surly, unpleasant receptionist, perhaps a senior one as she seemed to be training new staff. This spoiled the experience for our family. We were also asked for over $5 for an ice cream cone that is available everywhere else for about $3.50 and this sealed my opinion that this establishment is not treating its customers with respect. The beautiful Nakusp Hot Springs are just half an hour down the road, with lovely accommodations nearby, (try the Bear Ridge Cabins). This is municipally-owned and always staffed by pleasant and friendly people. It's much more easily accessible for those coming from the South and there's very there's little reason to continue to this one.
