This hotel is proof-positive that one shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Despite the bland frontage, the interior lobby is spacious, clean and staffed by very friendly people. I was originally given a room on the highway side, which proved to be very noisy. At my request, I was moved to a room on the south side of the hotel which was much quieter and had a balcony. I wasn't charged for the change. Breakfast was made-to-order, a nice change from toast and cereal offerings. In short, yes, I would recommend this hotel.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Staff were very friendly. Kids were excited to get a toy for checking in when we arrived. We got a room on the main floor poolside. Our kids were excited to have easy access to the swimming pool. They had a complementary chocolate happy hour which was great. Kids were excited to play in the games room. Next morning I was surprised to see they serve made to order omelettes and breakfast burritos for the continental breakfast! Will definitely be coming back next time we are in Cranbrook.

The Days Inn & Conference Center in Cranbrook is probably the best accommodations that you will find in the area, at least that we found. It has a nice breakfast and some kind of chocolate event that happens midweek that we weren't able to partake of. But it also has a tea and coffee station open all the time and a nice heated outdoor pool and seating area with some gas fire pits that are nice in the evening. I think that this place could up its Annie a little bit by tweaking a few small things. We had to remind the front desk to encourage visitors not to smoke on their balcony area because it wafts into other people's balcony and into their rooms if they're doors are open. The security on the balcony seems to be a little sketchy if you don't lock your doors to the balcony at night because the next door neighbor could just climb over into your area. Also they had some kind of event coming up that had to do with cross-dressing which seemed very inappropriate for our family and kids. We certainly could have done without that. The hotel could do more to be a family-friendly Place although they do have a cool game room and lots of board games that you can borrow for kids.

Myself and my brothers and sisters from the Calgary Veterans UN-NATO Canada group stayed at this hotel on 26-27 May. The staff were friendly, professional and very efficient, the check in process was expedient and thorough. The breakfast was excellent, this hotel offers made to order burritos and omelettes along with a very good selection of other breakfast items including coffee, tea, real juice, varieties of cereals, pastries, bagels, bacon, sausage, fruit and more. The rooms were modern, spotless, clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and very good pillows. This is one of the best Days Inn locations I have ever stayed in and the room rates were very reasonable.

I stayed here for nearly a week and the room, morning breakfasts and the poolside room were extremely enjoyable. I loved the fresh omelettes each morning with super friendly service. My work desk was great with my poolside view and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Only two minor points, it would be great to see more reusable plates and cups in the breakfast area to reduce waste. Second point is to not allow smoking in the Center courtyard as the smell is invasive to other courtyard users and did migrate into my room. Overall a great stay and I would recommend to others.

The beds are super comfortable. Their morning breakfast was very nice, we had complementary omelettes along with juice and coffee. Other breakfast items are available like cereal, muffins, waffles, bacon, etc. The staff is very nice. The hotel also has the usuals… cable, free Wi-Fi, a small area with computers in the lobby to check e-mail. I believe I also spotted a small gaming room with a PS4, but I didn't look to close. All in all, a great place to stay if you are coming to Cranbrook.

Best ever! Front desk ladies incredible, over the top helpful, made the most delicious chocolate treats! Walking distance to restaurants. Fitness room & equip was great. Had the "Bridal" suite, the room was pure comfort. Jacuzzi tub, sitting on the balcony in the mornin having hot chocolate in the warm sunshine looking at the mountainside… incredible!

I just stayed at this location in early April and I must say that the value you get is extraordinary. The facility was renovated two years ago and is in very good shape. The continental breakfast was excellent. They also do a number of small things that add big value such as all-day coffee/snacks/popcorn, the heated outdoor pool is quite nice, and they scrapped the frost off my windshield in the morning! Very friendly staff and very easy to get to. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stay here for work a lot and it's always clean and the staff are sooo friendly! They have popcorn, a pool, a game room with PlayStations and board games and they also have a popcorn machine and chocolate happy hour! It's such a great place to stay! One thing that I think can improve is the fitness room. They have such a great space, but I feel as though you could use a few more things! Of course it cost money so it makes sense that they don't have it. But some Dumbbells and kettle balls and this fitness centre would be amazing. But what they have is great for a work out!

Check in was fantastic. As they are currently doing some renos I asked for a recomedation for dinner and was very happy with that As well. Great service all around. Chocolate happy hour was a pleasant treat after dinner. Sleeping accommodations were very comfortable. I recommend if your traveling through the area and need a clean comfortable and happy place to stay that you stay at the Days Inn in Cranbrook. They truly have a great team. Thanks.

Room was ok, small bathroom. There were way too many screaming and stomping kids during my stay. The breakfast was open rarely and a very nice guy custom makes your omelette or breakfast wrap that is awesome. Not sure if I would stay again, if I did it would only be for the breakfast.

The front lobby is beautiful and they have coffee, water, and snacks at the front. The continental breakfast is awesome with made to order omelets and egg wraps and more! The only downside is that the room feels cheap with cheap looking wall paper. Other than that it is good.

My mom and I had never stayed in Cranbrook before so we were not sure where to stay but we were very impressed with Days Inn and will definitely be choosing to stay with them again! We were very impressed with the exceptional service, most notably the very friendly, accommodating, and fun staff. My mom and I have high standards and everything was clean and looked new. There was a self-serve hot coffee and tea station always available, an exceptional free breakfast including custom made omelettes, breakfast burritos, and strawberry waffles. There's a gym, a games room, and a large outdoor heated pool. There's even an outdoor fire pit in which they provided everything to make your own s'mores. The rooms were very nice, and the bathtub looked brand new. Our room had a balcony and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. I would highly recommend the Days Inn!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This hotel blew me away with value for dollar and above and beyond touches. This newly (and beautifully) renovated hotel offers free breakfast that includes a made-to-order omelette station, there's a video game space for kids and teens with several new consoles and large flat-panel TV's, and even a chocolate Happy Hour Mon-Thurs that so delicious! The beds even have a variety of different pillows to tailor to individual preferences. There staff were extremely attentive and always quick to go the extra mile. As a frequent traveler, this hotel is a rare gem, significantly exceeding expectations!

Wonderful hotel that took us in at 4:30am when our neighbour's townhouse burnt down and we were evacuated. They have a great breakfast that is included as well.

Good service, good location. The lady on the front desk was amazing. The breakfast was really good, one guy was serving the hot food. Amazing experience.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Rooms are clean and quiet. Bathroom was spacious and very clean when we went. Lobby is welcoming. Easy to find, excellent value for money. We were welcomed with a chocolate bar in the lobby, which was a wonderful surprise to a couple of weary travellers. Breakfast was an omlette bar and bacon, sausage, waffles etc as well as traditional continental style foods. Very good value for money.

This is the most accommodating hotel we have ever stayed at. Extremely friendly staff, best breakfast, and always going above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We will be back for sure!

The staff at the Days Inn have been working diligently to make this the best place to stay in Cranbrook. There have been many upgrades that have been made to include, floor hockey, breakfast burrito and omelet bar, and a gaming room for kids and teens alike… Jenn is very peronable and is doing fantastic things for the Inn, stop in and say hello.

Really great staff and rooms and pool and breakfast and bbqs and chocolate hour. Fresh made free omelettes made to order in the morning!

The hotel has been recently renovated and have been equipped with lots of convenient amenities in the room we stayed at from a microwave to a fridge that actually has a freezer compare the. Staff are friendly, the room we stayed at was very clean and the outdoor heated pool was perfect for my toddler to play in I'm between his naps. Within walking distance is the mall along with a Shoppers Drug Mart, Starbucks and A&W. Overall, it has been a great experience.

The staff was amazing. Pool was great. The extras is what makes it stand above other hotels. Free fruit coffee tea chocolate happy hour. And the free breakfast was so yummy. Highly recommended.

We had an awesome stay on July 23 — Loved the outdoor pool and patio outside of our room. Staff very friendly and excellent breakfast (made to order omelettes were fabulous) and it was included in the price. Very clean and comfy beds too!

It was a great overnight stay for our family of four. The outdoor pool was warm and clean, the room was quite nice and the continental breakfast had a great omlette station. We would definitely go back!

Staff friendly. Room was quite clean. Beds and tub are so important to me. Behind TV could use a dusting. But other then that it was really good. Lady who cleaned our room pryer to or stay was Nina was her card was left. So good job Nina. We had a balcony room with the rest of the family (10 of us. ) They placed us in 3 rooms next door to each other. This was wonderful because in the morning it was meet on balcony with coffee and plan the day. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel. Modern rooms, front desk staff was very friendly. Road side is a bit noisy, but overall it was great!

Nicest Days Inn I've ever stayed at. Rooms are modern and clean, commentary breakfast was amazing, and the beds were perfectly soft. Great experience.

They have been doing renovations over the past year, and it really shows. The rooms are very comfortable, always clean. The continental breakfast is pretty good, and the price can't be beat.

Location is good. Thermostat is in Fahrenheit only so hopefully you were born before 1970. Don't bother using the microwave cause it will blow the breaker and your lights will go out. The heating is also super loud so bring earplugs. There also appears to be a blackish mold in the shower. If I could send you a picture I would. I'm staying here for free with work and I'm still unimpressed. I stayed in hostels in Europe nicer than this room.

Air conditioning BROKEN until mid August 2014 and bar stops serving food super early. Stayed for the night ($80), wasn't that bad but the rooms are hot until the sun goes down. They try to accommodate as much as possible.
