Huge thank you to all the staff at Tyax Lodge, we had the most epic weekend. Amazing memories that will certainly live with us for a long time.

An amazing rocky and exciting drive to this beautiful place! Food is great and reasonably priced, given that it’s in the middle of nowhere! Staff are dedicated. Rooms are large and clean. Scenery is out of this world and the facilities available are just lovely. A perfect break for couples, families or groups.

Sometimes you have expectations from a place you are about to visit … rarely are they surpassed in such a manor as at Tyax Lodge. Highly recommended. Hope to get back here sometime soon. Great scenery. Great service. Great kitchen.

Beautiful lodge, extremely well kept! Excellent service; staff are experienced, friendly adults. The spectacular setting is idyllic! This is a truly beautiful place in summer, can only imagine how spectacular it would be in winter. Highly recommend it here!

This place is nothing but excellent! The rooms are great, spacious, clean and great views over the lake.
Service is second to none, from the reception staff to the bar staff!
Great hot tub area, steam room and Sauna…
The food is out of this world and good value for the quality! … The trip there is interesting… gravel roads etc but the views are amazing and the amount of wildlife you see is fantastic… Go you will not be disappointed!

We are here for 2 days, beautiful setting, excellent rooms, comfy dining and bar area. Staff are very welcoming — you are always greeted with a smile. Dinner was reasonably priced and tasty. Breakfast was overpriced, I think, and cold! If you want to participate in any activities with Tyax adventures best to book before you arrive, we had hoped to go horse riding, but it was fully booked! … The spa is lovely to relax and excellent out doors hot tub. As for drive here, we came via Gold bridge, took 6 hours, yes it can be challenging at parts but the scenery makes it well worth it — just watch for large boulders on the road when driving between lake and mountains! All in all, well worth a visit.

The road to the lodge is long but simply amazing once onsite you are welcomed by the staff and provided with information to make your stay very enjoyable. I would highly recommend coming here and enjoying what is offered and also the food is amazing.

Everything about our stay at the Tyax was perfect. From the absolutely stunning views, the lovely food, cosy, comfortable rooms and the polite staff I would highly recommend a stay here.
Tyax lodge was a delight and made our road trip in Canada extra special.

Beautiful location, rooms are fantastic if you are on the waterfront. View from ours was amazing. Very scenic drive from Lilloet but be prepared for a long bumpy trip on a gravel road for about 40 miles. Not very well signposted once you get on the actual road.

Amazing location! Beautiful rooms and very relaxing environment! My only issue was no AC or even fans in the rooms and it was very hot! Found myself sitting on the bathroom floor both nights to get cool. Would definitely return though! Can't wait to check the place out in the winter months.
