Great bunch and friendly too. One of BC's most beautiful destinations. The air is clean the views are grand and we can not wait to visit again.

Spend weekend there with my family. Absolutely amazing. Friendly, helpful staff. Unbelievable food 5 stars to the chef! Great place to unplug from city life.

Wanted to go for a ride, was highly recommended. Had me driving 60 miles one way for nothing. Whole day wasted. No response to emails. He should sell that place, leave it to professionals!

Me and the wife went here for our anniversary and our guide joey was great. Very friendly owners I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone who loves horses.

Had a blast at this place. The staff are great, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The food was great, scenery was spectacular and the Tee Pees were very well setup and had surprisingly comfortable beds.

My favorite birthday was at the big bar ranch in BC. My birthday is Christmas eve so when my mother took me there when I was a young girl. The staff had a tree and gifts for me it was unexpected and unplanned and it was one of the best birthday and Christmas. My mom got sick with dimensia not long after so our relationship was never the same and she died just a few years ago. So it is a special memory for me to remember the good times. Plus the long trail rides and lots of snow was also a great part of our trip. Thanks for the good memories.

This place is truly amazing! It's literally in the middle of nowhere, no phone signal, no TV and no Internet absolute heaven. All you can hear is the animals & wildlife and even then they don't make much nose! The ranch is beautiful with lovely food, all the staff are very friendly, approachable & helpful. I'm a vegetarian therefore I thought I'd struggle but definitely not! The rooms are cosy & clean just what you'd expect on a ranch. I went horse riding & it was truly amazing especially as I'd never rode cowboy style (I'd only ever ridden in the UK) the staff helped me & listened to my needs. I'd highly recommend this place & if we are ever in this region again we will definitely return.

Arrived at the ranch on Friday Sept 30 and stayed until Oct 2. My husband and I were there for a wedding. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the owners are very kind people. The food is amazing and so much of it! Thank you so much to everyone at Big bar Guest ranch, you made the wedding a great success! FYI if you are getting married there have them make the cake… it was amazing.

Beautiful landscapes and the kindest staff. Everybody sits at the dining table like one big family. Exquisite cabins and the horse back riding is something to behold. Quiet and picturesque. I would defenetly recommend staying and coming back often.

We were looking for an adventure for the Canada Day long weekend and we found this ranch. — It was a great drive up through Whistler, Lilloet and Clinton. When we got to the ranch, we were surrounded by gorgeous British Columbia landscapes and were also nestled into a valley surrounded by other ranches in the distance. The views and surroundings are amazing. My husband and daughter enjoyed the horseback riding with the friendly guides! — My daughter loved wearing the cowboy boots they had available for her. We stayed in the Cowboy Inn though there are cabins on the property (they were all rented for our stay). There were calves, goats, pigs and more you could help feed too. It was an amazing experience for our daughter and we would definitely go back. They people were very friendly and made our stay comfortable. Headed home we took some back country roads towards Lilloet and got to cross the Big Bar Ferry across the mighty Fraser River and then some logging roads. I would absolutely recommend trying that drive it was an unforgettable experience. — We had an SUV for the trip but my husband was in 2 wheel drive for 99% of the drive and our station wagon would have done fine for the journey. Would highly recommend it to anyone that loves horseback riding and to any family looking for an adventure trip rather than staying at a hotel.
