Over Canada Day weekend we were able to get a family suite with 2 large beds, hide-a-bed, and kitchen area including full stove, fridge, sink, microwave, utensils and dishes. Two wide screen TVs and a nice gas fireplace in stone. It was quiet and perfect for us. There was holiday pricing, but it wasn't exorbitant. Easy parking, and there's an adjacent restaurant/lounge. The local astronomy club sets up a mini-planetarium and various telescopes on the grounds. Jasper likely has very dark skies. Nicely kept grounds, and there is a sauna and nice indoor pool and spa. This is a good place to stay in Jasper. It's at the far end of town, but I walked to the main drag easily. Jasper is a nice place to walk after all. Unfortunately, I took photos of the room as we were leaving, so the room naturally appears somewhat disheveled, not representative of the perfect state we found on entry.

Loved our stay here. The breakfasts were awesome! Great rooms and a lounge area with a bar if you’re up for a game of cards. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back.

We stayed in a recently refurbished room in this 1970s era motor lodge. Beds were comfortable, bathroom new and clean. It was quiet overnight. Small minibar refrigerator in the room is not very cold. It's right on the edge of Jasper and you need to drive into town to get food. Met our expectations.

Nice room, free breakfast but very basic.

Checked in and got upgraded. Which was great even for one night. Clean rooms, wonderful service and the breakfast buffet at the fireside steakhouse was standard (bacon, sausage egss etc. ) but those pastry are the best part! Keep up the great work.

I love this place. I've stayed here a few times this year and it's been good every time. I love the beds, they are so comfortable. Nice, big, new showers. And it's just a few blocks from the busy part of town so it is more quiet.

Very nice and clean room. Shower is great! Pool is really good for kids to burn off some energy. Their Embers restaurant has great food and beer. A bit far from shops but will definitely go back.

Marmot is always great to us, they waived our pet fee because we stay here every time. We can always get a good deal. Rooms are clean, and service is great.

An older looking place on the outside but we were pleasantly surprised the interior had been renovated. Fairly quiet but we could hear others stomping in the rooms above is.

Marmot Lodge is a great no-frills hotel in Jasper. It's clean, there's a decent outdoor hot tub, indoor pool and sauna, and the beds are comfortable. The temperature of the room was difficult to regulate and it was usually to warm. While the shower was clean, the water temperature would fluctuate slightly in peak times. I'm a repeat visitor to this hotel and I'd gladly stay again.

Great price for a standard room. The rooms are clean and we like the outdoor hot tub (there is a pool and sauna however we haven't used them ourselves). Easy, straight, walk to central Jasper.

We stayed here a few days ago and would give zero stars if possible. We rented a room with kitchenette and the oven did not work and they would not discount the room. The only reason you pay extra is for a stove and a working one at that. There lame excuse was we offer to let you use another one … at 10 o'clock at night you make other arrangements to eat… I feel they owe us 75$$$ … Only stay here if you enjoy rude management.

The rooms were nice and clean. The heater was strong and placed near our heads at the bed so you may need to adjust the thermostat. Showers were nice.

Rooms were very clean and had good amenities (coffee machine, kettle). Would recommend staying here.

We stayed here over Christmas and while the accommodations were fine, the Wi-Fi and TV were not working for the entirety of our stay. When we checked out we mentioned this to the staff with the expectation we would receive a small discount or perhaps a discount on a future stay as we visit Jasper often. They were unwilling to offer anything. I personally think that is poor business and would advise against staying here. There's better options in Jasper.

Clean rooms, comfortable bed and pillows. Nice staff. Easy check in. The pool looked nice. The restaurant was nice. Affordable stay. Quiet.

Rooms are suitable for the climate and with very affordable prices. Excellent service and more or less near the center.

It was great! Comfy beds. Awesome sun blocking curtains. Hot tub! And nighttime elk visits. The washroom was awesome — loved the shower!

On our Canada West round trip our way took us to Jasper Nat. Park with overnight stay at Hotel Marmot with free Wi-Fi. The hotel as well as the rooms are ok. There were 2 queen-size beds, a small bathroom with shower and toilet, sink is located here typical in the sleeping area. On each floor there was a soft drink vending machine and the typical ice cream machine. The hotel has a mini heated indoor pool and saunas, which we did not use. The front desk and gastronomy staff was friendly. We belonged to a tour group. Breakfast was buffet style at the steak restaurant. Of the hotel. That was fine with toast, scrambled eggs, fruit, jam, coffee and tea.
We were gg only after dark. 9pm in the place. Much was already closed. A small supermarket was still open just under 2 km to the centre. There were also Pubs/restaurants there.

Nice clean rooms with good working AC. It is a little rustic but expected for the area and price point. Pool and hot tub were alot of fun as well. Relatively central location, a few mins drive from downtown Jasper.

Would have given a 5 star if not for the questionable housekeeping Stayed for one night at the Marmot Lodge. Coming from quite a dingy B&B at Banff, Marmot Lodge was a welcome change. Rooms were spacious with attached kitchenette, Wi-Fi and TV was excellent. Slightly noisy air conditioner but it was not an issue. Front counter staff was polite if a bit impersonal. The only negative thing about our stay at Marmot Lodge was the stain I found on one of the pillows (see picture below). Other than that the rooms were clean. Overall a positive experience.

Quite comfortable. Four blocks walk to town. Scenic views from accommodation and great restaurant/bar on site.

Room was roomy, comfortable, and clean. Feels a little outdated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Free Internet is also provided.

Room is fine with everything you'd want, no safe though. Air con is really noisy so best not to leave it on at night.

Good same day rate while the rest of Jasper seemed to be booked up. Friendly front desk staff, and room was nice and large.

Amazing hotel in Jasper! It is a bit far from the downtown part of town of Jasper, but it is still amazing. The $300 room we got had two beds in separate rooms! Great! We also had a full fridge with a freezer, an oven in the kitchen. The bathroom was the one of the best ones I have ever seen thus far! The staff was nice and the hotel was very clean and quiet. The complentary coffee was good too. The beds were AMAZINGLY comfortable and I slept great! The hotel didn't have air conditioning in the main part of the room, but we had air conditioning in the bedroom. Overall, the hotel was great! The price might have been a bit high, but everything else about it was spectacular! Date stayed: June 1st 2017

Went for the observatory and stargazing experience. Very cool telescopes and pictures however the lights from the hotel make it really hard to see any aurora's or to make out the full detail through the telescopes. Still worth the money as the staff are very knowledgeable and even gave tips for aurora photography.

We had an excellent stay at the Marmot Lodge. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a fridge and microwave. It also had a balcony with a view! It is on the end of town so its quiet but still walkable to the town. We were very happy here and would recommend to everyone when staying in Jasper.

Clean room, slept 4 of us comfortably (2 adults, 2 kids) will definitely book there again.

Nice place, nice staff and beautiful backdrop of course. Only negative was the beds were not very comfortable.

Motel setup but is very clean, people are very attentive, has washing rooms but is a 10 minute walk to town so keep that in mind. Very quiet at night, and hopefully the trains (there is a train yard across the street) won't wake you.

The place felt much more like a motel (which I didn't expect), having doors from the outside to the rooms directly. The rooms also smelled a bit smoky. Wouldn't necessarily recommend the place but it wasn't bad either.

The staff there is great and very accommodating. One of our kids got really sick with a stomach bug and they gave us a late check out to get it under control brought to travel. We appreciated it so much! Room is nice and clean. Comfy beds too!

Location is nice right of main road. Embers steakhouse great service and the steak was very good. Rooms ok nothing special but good value and very clean. Would definitely consider staying again.

The rooms were clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable, staff was pleasant to deal with, and the outdoor hot tub was great. 5/5 Would stay again.

Had an excellent stay hear recently during a Charity Trek Challenge for Marie Curie UK. The rooms were excellently equipped, smart, quite modern, and very roomy with two double beds in each twin room — above anything I've ever encountered at a 'motel' style accommodation before. Fully air-conditioned, all towels and toiletries provided etc, and flat screen digital TV and telephone too, along with free Wi-Fi.
