Dockside Inn

Very clean rooms, friendly staff and a great location close to the lake and food.
I’d give 5 stars but people think those are fake reviews.

I recently stayed at Dockside Inn, and I can honestly say they exceeded my expectations. All staff are respectful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well maintained.

My room rate is very reasonable!
I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a pleasant, comfortable a reasonable priced place to stay! Also all staff we super kind and accommodating :)

Zero, hospitality. Reception was very rude when I called. Very disrespectful when I just wanted to call and ask about things.
Rooms are good, but the reception was very poor.

Great service and nice area, great price and a very nice breakfast as well.

We had a great experience. The beds were comfy, room was clean and we were walking distance from the marina, shops and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting cold lake.

Best place to stay in cold lake. Clean and organized rooms. The staff is very helpful and kind! Free breakfast for guests as well which is always appreciated.

Spacious rooms, nice breakfast, great location, large TV — microwave — fridge — coffee in the room.
Didn't have a very nice welcome from the Lady at the reception tho.

The owners are very nice, offer a weekly rate for both kitchen and non kitchen units, the parking lot has plugs and they will clean the rooms every day even if your a weekly rate unlike many hotels.
The desk was a nice size, and the chair wasn't broken so I greatly appreciated that.
TV's are big if you care, I never use them, the Wi-Fi was great, and being I was a long stay they had rooms with big fridges.
My microwave rotator didn't work, that was a little annoying but still usable.
Lots hot water, has heat, decent beds and I see there is an AC unit for the summer.
The flooring was new, the tub insert was new, it's a clean and nice place to stay. Of course everyone's diesels wakes you up early but that's every hotel in Alberta.
The owner even made us banana bread one day, and it was a big slice! Supper good, I can't even imagine how much banana bread was made to give us all a huge piece!
Definitely my choice of hotel in cold lake, had multiple co workers stay at multiple hotels in town and unless you want to spend double that for a pool/hotel tub at the Ramada then this is the place to stay.
Highly recommend the energy center gym, best I've ever seen, and has a rock wall and a free walking track upstairs!

Definitely will be returning for more than a few reasons. I loved it because it had it all, suspense, romance, car chases, drama, trauma. 10/10

This is a small motel located at the end of the main highway so traffic is thinned out and it’s quite quiet. Breakfast is a small continental one but there is a wide variety of cereals. The room was clean and the beds comfy. I would stay again.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Dockside. It was extremely comfortable and clean, a great price and a great continental breakfast. I was really surprised at the great selection for a continental breakfast. Thankyou Dockside, if I am ever back in Cold Lake AB again I shall return.

Staying here with my wife it was our 18 year anniversary. The room smelt like urine when we arrived. It was 930 pm we were having a beer outside just talking to each other! We were told to go inside we are not allowed on the deck to have a cigarette! Absolutely disrespectful you are a hotel and by law its 11 pm to be quiet. What a joke and thank you for wrecking our 18 year anniversary. Cant believe you treat paying customers like that! I will never come back and I would suggest to anyone stay elsewhere!

Excellent location to be close to the boardwalk and boatlaunch. Rooms are outdated but clean. No hot breakfast, but a continental with many cereals, banana bread, fresh fruit, and a few goodies, in case you might be wondering. The hotel is used for out of town construction workers during the week. All in all, it's not a bad place to stay. We were charged an additional 29$ a night for our pet. That was a first for us.

First time to visit cold lake with my family, and found this amazing place to stay. Location was easy to find, lots of nearby stores. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and they have strong Wi-Fi plus free continental breakfast. It's worth the money and no hidden charges 🙂. I will definitely book here again, no complaints at all.

Great location close to the water, rooms have clean comfy beds, big TV, big fridge, great Wi-Fi, staff is always kind and helpful at any time of day. Would stay here again.

Can't beat the location, kind staff always, rooms are always so clean and fresh. Eveytime we have family down I recommend for amazing services. The staff always lend a hand when needed, and the people I've met are always kind. Will recommend to anyone in town for a night or 2. Also, the bananna bread they makes home made in the breakfast room is just as sweet as the service.
