Our new favourite place to stay. Immaculate rooms, comfortable beds, heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, and the friendliest staff around. We stayed in a deluxe suite and with the separate bedroom and full kitchen we had everything we needed.

Great place to stay & enjoy the scenery & the mountains. Beautiful well equipped suites. All staff are amazing & eager to make your stay enjoyable. It has a pool & hot tub for tour pleasure. I would highly reccomend booking at Blackstone Resort!

It is very clean. The suites are large for the number of people we had. 2 bit bathrooms. Beautiful scenery.

Amazing rooms that are well worth the price. We ended up getting one of their suites and it was amazing. Full kitchen, balcony, dining table, living room, washer and dryer, and a bedroom separated by a door. The place was almost the size of our condo and nicer to boot. The pillows on the bed didn't look particularly comfy, but they ended up being surprisingly good. Overall it was an amazing experience and is definitely a must stay in Canmore.

We had an awesome experience here. We stayed for 3 nights and it was the most quiet hotel I’ve ever been to. It also had everything we need. The kitchen was also very convenient for us and had everything we need. The staff were really friendly, and also the woman who checked us in gave us a room that fits our request. I’d definitely stay here again if we visit the area, the price is reasonable for the amenities it offers. Also, the view from our room was fantastic! Would definitely recommend to friends and family too!

The room we stayed in here was great, spacious and clean. Some units have wonderful views of the Three Sisters peaks, which are breathtaking. While I would happily stay here again, it may not be for everyone. If you want to feel like you're in quaint location, this is not really that. It's a large facility and is usually packed. The parking spots in the garage are TIGHT. I didn't feel comfortable parking my midsized sedan, I can't imagine trying to park anything bigger down there.

Location was good for a fair price. Dedicated parking in the garage was good, but very very tight! Still better than searching on the road. They were doing remodeling while we were there, which seemed odd during peak tourist season. Luckily it wasn't too intrusive. I'd consider the location again.

This review is for a direct rental from Wes Braden, and so some details may not apply to renting directly from Clique hotels. The hotel is organized as a mix of Clique-owned and owner-owned rooms, and owners may choose to rent through Clique or directly on sites such as VRBO. When you rent directly from the owner, you deal with them for any maintenance issues and can't use front-desk services. The hotel itself seems fine — the rooms are spacious and reasonably quiet, the kitchen is fine (electric stove, though), and clean. I'd probably have given it five stars except for several upkeep issues — the latches on one window are broken; the fireplace cover is bent and falls off at a touch; the cleaners blew a fuse and didn't fix it. I don't know if this was just bad luck or if this group is being a bit cheap on maintaining their rentals. But overall, was reasonable.

We enjoyed our stay here a lot. The rooms were very modern and spacious. The kitchen is definitely a plus to have. The staff was very friendly. Only small complaint is that our towels sometimes weren’t replaced.

The Blackstone Lodge in Canmore was a great delight! From the extremely friendly staff, to the spacious and comfy rooms, I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation. Resident to some breathtakingly beautiful views itself and only a short drive from many MUST visit hiking trails. The staff remembered my name within one evening, asked about our day, gave great recommendations and made us feel very welcome. Not to mention they assisted in providing a surprise gift from a distant family member!

Very disappointed with how they handled a situation. I was in a wedding party and had to leave for photos when I told the front desk my name, and that my husband (told them his name) was on his way to check in so please to have him bring my suitcase up with him. They assured me it would be no problem. When he got there they refused to let him check in because his name was not technically on the reservation even though his name was on the credit card that booked and paid for the room. Also, I told them his name moments before. When I finally got a call from them two hours later, they apologized because they assumed he had the same last name as me. For $300/night my husband had to nap in his car, and showed up to the wedding in a sweaty dress shirt. They apologized profusely and when I didn't seem satisfied she said "If you're hoping for compensation or a discount that's not going to happen. " Brittany at the front desk was whom I spoke with but she placed me on hold to confirm this with the manager. So, sorry is as far as they will go in terms of taking accountability for their assumptions and miscommunications. They can't be bothered with customer service.

The Blackstone Lodge is a modern, mid level hotel/resort in Canmore. This was our first stay here. Admittedly we typically stay at the Falcon Crest Hotel which we are very happy with but we decided to try something different. Both hotels are "Clique" hotels. We were very satisfied with our stay. The rooms were just as nice as the Falcon Crest and the views (at least from our room) were amazing. We ended up being upgraded to a suite on the 4th floor with their 'premium' mountain view. Rooms were spacious and clean and the bed was comfy. There are tow hot tubs outside and a pool. There is also underground parking for guests. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Great hotel! Stayed in a suite which was very roomy for 5 of us. Really nice outdoor hot tub and pool. A little bit of a walk from main street but easy to do on a nice day.

We booked a standard room with 1 queen bed so we would have room for our childs crib. Upon arrival we were given a room with 2 double beds which gave no floor space for a pack and play. Front desk would not change our room and said our booking was for any available room (not a specific queen bed like our booking showed). They would not assist us in getting a room to fit our needs and we were forced to pay out of pocket to upgrade to a room that had sufficient space. Otherwise it was a nice facility, nice rooms, good pool area for the kids.

Greeted with a friendly smile! Clean, cozy, place to stay that's fairly priced not far from Banff. It's already been recommended to friends with a beautiful view of the mountains. There is not much traffic going through so the balcony is a good chill spot too! Check this amazing hotel out. No regrets!

Beautiful one bedroom suite with balcony and gas fireplace and large gorgeous kitchenette. Washer and dryer. Two outdoor hot tubs and a heated outdoor pool (in Feb) which was warm enough to enjoy. Only problem was either the hot tub or the linen gave me a sensitive rash. Not quite sure which, but it cleared up as soon as I got home.

We love these getaway condos in the mountains. They are well-maintained and the service has been great! It's one of our favourite places in Canmore. I look out my window and I've got a great view of the mountains but, if your condo or room is on the other side of the building, you've got a view of the swimming pools & hot tubs. The hot tubs feel especially great after a day of skiing. The location is close to the downtown so it's a short drive or a leisurely walk to grocery stories and a variety of stores that offer great shopping for everything from clothing, home decorating to high quality art galleries. We will definitely keep coming back.

Asked for a mountain view and boy did they deliver! Stunning view of the rockiesright right outside our bedroom window. Furnishings we're clean and modern. Great amenities w/ hot tub access and gym. Had the most relaxing stay.

Nice pool, but pricey We bought what was probably the last room online via Expedia on the February Family Day long weekend, but the rate was nearly $300 for a standard double room. I suppose that's just the function of supply & demand. However, the hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. They brought up additional house coats for us to wear to the pool, and dropped a luggage cart outside our room prior to checkout. The outdoor hot tubs and pool were the best, especially morning in — 20oC air. The underground parking was nice, but be prepared to hunt for a spot since almost nobody parked inside the lines. Hotel please note that the lines are nearly invisible, and guests are parking diagonally, greedily taking up a spot and a half. 90% of 3-car spots had only 2 cars parked there. THAT is the function of poor & selfish drivers, but it could be improved by asking guests at check-in to be courteous and to park appropriately.

My family and I stayed here for a ski trip, and their rooms were great. Plenty of space, including a full kitchen and balcony. The two outdoor hot tubs and pool were great. We had some trouble with the TV at first, it wouldn't let us use Netflix due to an internet problem. We called the front desk and they sent someone up very quickly. He quickly replaced our DVD player and had everything working for us. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Our room was nice and cozy but it was not clean. There was hair on the bed. The drinking glasses had lipstick prints. We asked for new and clean glasses and cups but service did not bring them to us. The price was too much for the service we received. We won't go back.

Very nice hotel, room was clean and spacious and the kitchen was a nice perk. The hotel backs onto the highway and the road noise was noticeable during the day. There also isn't a restaurant on site which might be a negative for some people. It is neat that the outdoor pool is heated and open year round. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place. Rooms are well equipped and have balconies. Not many amenities close by. All the nearby restaurants close at 9pm.

We enjoyed our stay. The outdoor pool in — 20 was actually quite enjoyable. Santa came by for visit — very well done.

We really enjoyed our stay. The price is amazing for what you get. The room we stayed in was more of a luxury apartment. We felt right at home. With it located just outside the heart of canmore its quiet enough to relax but close enough to walk right into downtown. Overall we had a spectacular experience.

Amazing experience here. The rooms were beautiful, the beds were comfy, and the whole place really gives you the mountain getaway vibe that is perfect for such a stunning town. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and it's located just out of the heart of the 'downtown', with lots of amenities close by. They also have underground parking which was a huge bonus. My one complaint was that the underground parking was basically completely full, but to their defense it was a busy weekend so it's understandable. Would definitely recommend!

Room was nice and clean. Underground parking is great. Outdoor pool and hot tub were really nice, even in early October! The only thing this hotel is missing is an on site restaurant / room service.

Overall nice. However not very good beds, & pillows were made of chopped foam. Hot tubs were nice but small. 3 stars at best.

What a lovely hotel! We stayed here for the first night of our honeymoon and had a couples massage. The massage from Verde was amazing. The staff at the hotel were really accommodating. They allowed us a late check out and when we got to our room they had wrote us a congratulations card along with a bottle of champagne and local chocolates! We used the hot tub which was a great space and the underground parkade was nice too. The room was HUGE and the deep soaker tub and fireplace were awesome. Let alone the view of the 3 Sisters from our balcony. Wow. Loved it!

Location is great with underground parking. The room is a spacious condo-esque room. My wife and I and my in-laws all had lots of space. 2 bathrooms meant nobody was fighting for bathroom space.

We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was fantastic! It felt just like being at home. Service was great and the view and location was great as well. Will definitely be going back.

Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Clean, well furnished and comfortable rooms. For swimmers, the pool is substandard in size, but who came here for the pool anyways? As or the time of this review construction across the road means it is somewhat loud, but not excessively.

Absolutely love this hotel surrounded by majestic mountains near walking trails, we were looked after by super friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome right away. The rooms were clean and well appointed, communal BBQ area was clean and convenient perfect for any gathering. We highly recommend this place and will come back.

I really loved this hotel. I stayed here for 2 nights It was a very cozy looking place and everyone was very nice. The pool and hot tub was very nice after a long day of hiking about the mountains. The service was very nice, kind, and helpful. One thing I wish they had was a breakfast. There wasn't a breakfast option in the morning we either had to go to another building and pay $12 or find breakfast somewhere else. But I don't think this whole breakfast problem was worth rating this 4 stars. Overall, loved this place a lot.

Love love love! Having all the comforts of home was wonderful. My grandkids were able to enjoy it too. Had we gone to a traditional hotel the experience with the kids would not have gone as well. Only issue I had was finding our way around on our own. But definitely will, and have, recommend Blackstone Mountain Lodge.

Very clean and beautiful hotel, and right by downtown Canmore. The front desk staff are very helpful, we were recommended Grizzly Paw pub for dinner and Chez Francois for breakfast, these are two must-see spots for foodies. But this isn't a review about those places ;) The rooms were very clean and had a decent view of the Rockies! Only downside I could think of is I could sometimes hear stomping kids overhead.

The suite was big with a really nice kitchen. Comfortable beds! The hot tub and pool were so nice!

It's a perfect blend of comfort and convenience when I travel to go skiing. Staying in an owner condo where the upkeep is provided by the hotel service is a treat. Close to the mountains I like to visit and the sporty active lifestyle ambience of Canmore is a plus.

Our family booked a suite for 2 nights and we absolutely enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The front desk agent was pleasant and welcoming and so as the other hotel staffs. The hotel lobby is warm and cozy making our family to feel more comfortable. Heated parking, hot tubs and bbq place are the amenities that our family got to enjoy. Moreover, the internet connection was fast. I highly recommend this hotel to travellers who will visit Canmore.

I booked two rooms one for my parents who have never been to Canmore/Banff before and one for my family including my wife and 6 year son and 3 year daughter. I booked for 1 night because that is all I good afford. We booked for Saturday Night. On the Thursday night my son came down with a bad infection/fever in his throat and had to be put on antibiotics. I called this Hotel first thing in the morning only to be informed that I was not within the 72hr and will be charged the full rate. My only option was I could rebook but I had to be by the end of June. The only issue starting next Wednesday I am going to be fasting So a 700 dollar charge will be on my credit card, the worst part is my telling my family that we are not able to go this weekend and since they charged me the full amount we wont be able to try and go somewhere this summer.

I booked the "Where the Heli Are You? " package for myself and my girlfriend. Everything went off like clockwork with an amazing helicopter ride, a beautiful mountain view room, and fantastic service. The heated outdoor pool and hot tubs were a nice treat as well. Great value and great overall experience.

They accidentally gave another guest a key to my room. So when I arrived there was random luggage in my room. I found out when I returned that it was a guest to our wedding and the front desk got rooms mixed up so luckily it was someone I knew. I had to call and request that they verify people before handing out room keys. Upon arriving back after our wedding my new husband and I showed up at midnight without our room key, in my huge gown and him in his tux, and the night clerk didn't want to give us a key because I had called and asked that they verify people before handing out random room keys. So if they make a mistake and you point it out be prepared for more issues. The top cupboard on the dresser kept falling open when we would go to open the drawer, scaring the bajeesus out of us and/or hitting your hand, bathroom sink was plugged but they fixed that. Lastly, after booking many rooms with our "wedding discount" we got numerous calls from guests stating they had found the same room for cheaper still. When my husband contacted the manager and asked if they would extend that price to eveyone they basically said nope, if they want it they have to work for it. Just appalled by this hotel, especially during such a special time in our lives.

Myself, 14 year old son, daughter, 1& 1/2 year old grandaugther and son inlaw spent 1 week here, we faced the mountains not the pool, it was the most beautiful view ever. I think we were like in the middle of building so our view looked in all views but one. The bath tub was big enough for me to soak in the tub, were Iam 6ft2in, it is not often you can find a tub large enough. I also loved the bedrooms being one on each side of the unit. The kitchen was beautiful, the only thing is ice maker was not working. The pool was great for the whole family and the 2 hot tubs, then you had the BBQ area. I think it would be nicer if every unit had there own on the patio. S, loved the fireplace. Also the underground parking was an added bonus. I would recommend this to anyone. Well worth the money. Edmonton, Alberta Canada.

For the price this facility cannot be equaled. A friend and I spent two quality days and the facilities, linens, towels and beds were great. Full kitchen with all the necessities, granite countertops just made it a perfect getaway. You will not go wrong booking this facility and if the weather co-operates it is an easy walk to downtown Canmore.
