Terrible customer service, rooms we booked were both wrong! Pool is a living Covid Central couldn’t even see more then a couple feet down pools so gross, beds had hair in them, and red and black mould in shower! Not even staying our 2nd night it’s not worth the money, worst hotel experience ever.

Terrible check in — took 45 minutes, shuttle driver said 15-20 minute pick up, it took 50 Staff were unwilling to help, would not book again.

Friendly, helpful staff! Reached at midnight, checked out super early as well. They were nice at the odd hours and the room was great as well! An iron in the room might have helped more.

If you are looking for a basic hotel, this is it. If you want luxury this is NOT where to go. Rooms are dated. The pool is old and small, was dirty and no room to put your towels, clothes. A big group of men were there when we were and they were changing into their underwear while wearing a towel right in front of us while we were in the pool. Loved seeing a grown mans family jewels while swimming. The change room was right behind him. We will not be back.

Booked directly with the hotel and recieved a better price than anything online. Hotel lobby looks very nice with a dark-wood theme throughout. Room was clean and cool, again, visually very nice, decor was modern, bathroom was please. Mini-fridge and microwave in the king suite room for people staying longer or wanting to do some reheating without going out. Was not able to find a breakfast at the hotel, but the attached and nearby restaurants would do if you needed breakfast and didn't have a car. Nice and close to the airport for people with early flights.

Was told free parking if you stay the night and we ended up having to pay for parking. It was only 5 dollars a day but probably would have gotten a different hotel had we known. Rooms were nice and staff was friendly.

Great hotel to stay I highly recommended. Staff is really goes above and beyond to help out. Definitely will stay next time as well.

Modern fresh hotel that has upgraded old part of hotel. Very friendly front desk. Comfortable bed. Great for sleeping or sex or both. Free shuttle to airport.

Rooms are decent! Comfy beds, staff was nice. Was nice that you couldn't hear all the airplanes. Couple of choices for restaurants nearby.

Booked at the last minute and found it to be a very nice hotel for the money. The entire facility had a nice feel and I enjoyed my meal in the Moxie lounge.

Really nice hotel with fun pool for the kids. Affordable rate, clean and comfy, updated and has all the things you need and appliances to feel at home for your stay.

Not too bad for an obviously transit hotel. Complimentary shuttle to airport. Decent restaurant next to it.

Great stay fair price for room parking and shuttle to airport. Room a little small. Overall great stay. I have to make an edit and we adjust my review the shower was horrible, you couldn't turn the heat up without the water shutting off. Then on our return we called them for a shuttle to pick us up they told us if we could get outside in 5 min it would be there we were out in 2 no shuttle we waited 15 minutes then called they said we would have to wait 30 more minute which normally would not bother us however it was 1130pm and we had a 3 year old they made us run out to meet a shuttle that wasn't there and then tried to make us wait 45 minutes for another. Luckily for us another shuttle say us waiting and they offered us free ride to hotel.

They upgraded me to a fancy suite. The handle that turns the shower on fell off. Decent experience despite that.

Great place, clean and new. Staff are always excellent and very accommodating. The attached Moxies is nice for a bite and across the parking lot is The Chop if you're feeling like a nice steak. Has laundry onsite.

Stayed in a suite. Very clean. Spacious. And well stocked with amenities. Very comfortable. but. We must find a way to disable the back up alarm on the early morning garbage collection trucks.

The manager Valerie was awesome. The hot tub happened to be out of service and not that we minded but we explained to her that the last few places we've stayed the hot tub was out too and that it was our anniversary. She tapped a few hundred keys saying she had an idea. And graciously upgraded our room to a Jacuzzi suite at no charge. We didn't even ask our complain. She just went the extra mile for us and we really appreciate it. We will return some day because of this excellent service. Thanks Valerie.

Great hotel and great prices. The rooms are a good size. The hotel is ideally situated for the airport and have a free shuttle.

Always friendly staff and management team. Awesome place to stay when I bring my family in town. Pool is always quiet and clean. Small workout room, enough to get a sweat on and then hit the hot tub!

Excellent staff, very comfortable and clean, very good bar Moxies, take you and bring you from the airport for free.

Great staff. Room was clean and nice. Went to chop across the parking lot for a great meal so there is good restaurants close. Never got to go to the pool or fitness room but it is nice to have that option. Would stay again.

Good location near the airport, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was helpful and polite. A water hammer lole noise from above my room caused me to lose some sleep one night but was gone the next night. No breakfast.

Friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. They even upgraded our rooms for free due to our situation having had our flights cancelled and having to check in late till our early flight out. The rooms were clean and cozy with all the usual amenities.

Sandman, Calgary Airport On our Canada West round trip, our way to Calgary for an overnight stay at Hotel Sandman took us to Calgory airport with free Wi-Fi. The rooms were spacious with large bathroom, the bedroom with 2 large queen-size beds, refrigerator. On each floor there was a soft drink vending machine and the typical ice cream machine. The room was clean and tidy. The hotel has a large swimming pool and gym, but we didn't use it. The front desk and gastronomy staff was friendly. We belonged to a tour group. The travel provider ordered a fixed breakfast for anyone with 1 toast, scrambled eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausages, juice and coffee as much as you wanted in the hotel restaurant.
Coming to town from here is a bit tricky. Either about 2, 7 km walk to the Whitehorn train station. Per person 3, $25 to downtown. Or you can take free shuttle from the hotel to the airport and from there take the express bus to the city, but be careful during rush hour in the morning and afternoon as well as on Fridays the commute.

Excellent service. Most comfortable bed I have slept in in a very long time. Front end staff were all excellent at their job and very friendly. Only one complaint and it was my fault. Housekeeping woke me on the one morning I wanted to sleep in. But I did FORGET to put the do not disturb on the door. The coffee in room was better than ever expected (Seattle's Best) but refrigerator was a little too cold drink froze in less than 2 hours. Would definitely recommend this place.

Stayed in the brand new tower and it is very posh. Full apartment style suite with modern decide. Every detail was obviously considered and the quality of the craftsmanship is amazing. I was surprised at how much hotel o got for the rate! Would stay there again in a minute.

My stay at this hotel for business was a disappointment. There was a ton of noise upstairs, and I am out here doing training so it was difficult to concentrate. The room smelled like mould and/or feces. The bathroom was filthy, I found hair all over my floor and bathtub. I wanted a bath so I cleaned the tub before I did that. The lighting in the rooms is TERRIBLE! I get that they're trying to be environmentally friendly by using efficient bulbs, but there are other options. I could not see my face well enough to do my hair and makeup before my class in the meeting room. I am not the only one who felt that way. The rooms were dark, and for a corporate king, I did not find the value in it. On the positive side, guest services were very friendly, the bed and bedding were very comfortable.

Rooms are nice and clean. A/C in some rooms is loud but most times can get different room. Staff is always helpful and nice.

This place needs a hot water tank upgrade, because the water for showers is only lukewarm. Cold enough I had to skip showers for 2 days.

Friendly staff, very nice room, reasonable rates, connected to Moxies which served a nice breakfast. Only weird thing: lobby doors — first door is automatic, interior door is just a regular, clear glass door. I walked into it with my luggage.

This hotel was my worst expieriance with any hotel ive ever had. The first impression was just how narrow the corridors were. Entering the room was terrible. The room smelled awful and the door didnt even close properly. The breakfast is an apple, coffee, and water. We asked for a bedsheet for extra warmth to sleep as the only extra blanket they had was a piece of sponge. They gave us 4 pillow cases. This is the worst hotel ive ever been in and I will never go back. Do not recommend to any one.

This Sandman is one of the best of it's kind. Everything from guest room cleanliness and working order to staff competence and professionalism is well above the performance of other Sandman Hotels and a lot of other hotels as well. Compliment to the entire team!

Very friendly staff, very quick service: we arrived early and they found a room for us quite quickly! Room was comfortable, but I do not believe they serve breakfast.

The staff and managers here at the (Sandman Hotel) they are fast and efficient, they are ready to go above and beyond also they are very accommodating ready to help us make our visit a memorable one. Because of everyone involved in taking care of us we will always come back here every chance we get.

Friendly witty calm yet efficient. And that was just the front desk… rooms immaculate limo driver a joy … why would anyone stay somewhere else?

Avoid certain rooms near pop machine. Spent sleepless night being wakened by dropping ice crashing. Complained next morning to staff who empathized but didn't offer apology or compensation.

Regularly spend nights at this hotel. Rooms are nice, hotel staff is friendly. Great service.

Service and shuttle were convenient and helpful. The location was close to the airport and the Wi-Fi was fast.

Calgary air port is a nice hotel but they seem to have problems keeping the pool and hot tub operational. Comfortable beds and atmosphere.

Good food in Moxies (inhouse restaurant), clean and big enough rooms. It was an enjoyable stay.

We did the Stay and Park and were very happy. Very clean Hotel. Bed was comfy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again!

We used to like it here. Until our truck was stolen right from the parking lot. Four stalls from the main doors. We stayed here every 20 days when we fly to work. So over 3000.00 we spent there on hotel stays on the low side. We quite enjoyed it until receiving the call from the police regarding the vehicle because it had been located. We didn't even know it was stolen as we were at work at the time. Now don't get me wrong it is in no way the hotels fault. It was their actions thereafter that we were disappointed in. We went there to see if there was any cameras or any one saw anything. The little dark haired from counter clerk could have cared less. She was neither helpful nor polite. We have had to deal with her on multiple occasions and always the same dismissive attitude unless she is bad mouthing other co workers while guest are checking in. She would not answer any questions nor give any information. We didnt want her to solve the crime just simply wanted to know if there were cameras the police could view. The only reason this gets a one star is the few times the two gentlemen checked us in we had pleasant friendly service. I would strongly suggest reviewing you employees conduct when dealing with clients. We will never return there and freely pass the message along to our some 15 other crew members that stay there. Or may not in the future.

This hotel is covered in makeup to hide its defects. My bed was slanted, TV only worked when it wanted to, you can hear everything your neighbors do and for some god awful reason they play music in the hall right outside your room.

Good for an overnight.

Staff are best asset > rooms — carpeting — tired polyester bedpreads (are so hot! ) — details+ bathrooms are getting worn and tired — Sandman starting to show its volume of trade. Close to south end charter airports which I use to go north. Pool and hot tub still not working in Jan. 2014. Moxies still a great restaurant and good food. Lack of choices to go out for food, if not Moxies. (Cactus Club is quite a walk away and no fast food options/liquor store that I noticed nearby. ) Never thought to ask if they offered a shuttle service to other restaurants nearby. Sandman Airport still offers great airport shuttle services, pickups and morning deliveries. A safe, good product overall. Always prompt and friendly. Always accommodating :) Safe product and value for you.

Broken door to the bedroom had me trapped for a few minutes.
