Hotel 11, MOD A Sonesta Collection

Nice and close to the airport. Not much to do around though. Rooms were really clean and comfortable. Bed was super comfortable. Enjoyed the room having a Nespresso coffee maker and our floor had a water station with filtered or sparkling water.
Room was a bit small but worth the price. TV was nice and new. Bathroom was clean and had a huge shower. Bathroom had no toiletries available but soap and shampoo were good.

Very disappointing experience. The manager, Belle Jose, was rude and spoke with a disrespectful tone. She was not accommodating and walked away while I was trying to ask questions about the hotel. Due to this poor customer service, I will not be returning. 0/5 👎

Thank you for your response. I would like to clarify that just because my name may not appear in your records does not mean the interaction did not occur. I had no reason to leave a false review, and I take posting public feedback seriously.
My experience reflects how I personally felt during the interaction at your property. The concern raised was about the manner in which I was spoken to and the fact that my questions were not addressed before the conversation was ended. I shared this feedback honestly so future guest experiences can improve.
I appreciate your commitment to your team, however guest experiences can differ, and this was mine.

The two frontdesk managers were highly unprofessional and showed a complete lack of accountability. I appreciate that you’ve been here for years, but that doesn’t place you above basic standards of respect. Experience should come with humility, not an inflated sense of importance nor ego. You are both supposed to be role models, not individuals who speak negatively about others and address people in a condescending manner. Please do better.

BE AWARE — Airport shuttle only runs ONCE PER HOUR. We needed to be at the airport at 6am but would have had to take 5am shuttle to be on time. It’s a 5 min drive. Ended up paying $18 for an Uber so factor that into what otherwise seems like a good price. Staff and room were nice.

Not even checked in yet and very much regret booking this place. Do not book. Stay at one of the hotels on the airport like the Marriott/delta. They advertise a free shuttle but it is not free it is $14 if you actually need to use it more than once in a day and the hotel is in the middle of nowhere so it’s not easy to get anywhere. Receptionist has been abrupt from my first phone call to leaving bags.
UPDATE: The shuttle price WAS NOT clarified in advance. All over Expedia, your own website and the Avios website it says FREE shuttle. I was promised a call from a Manager yesterday but that has not yet happened. It is a shame you are more concerned about replying to a review than contacting me directly to resolve. Also a note to other potential clients, I did not stay at this hotel in the end due to feeling so unwelcome from my first call to entering the property. I booked to stay at the Holiday Inn Express next door which was super welcoming, they even offered without prompting to let me check in early, the hotel is brand new, they include free breakfast, and also unprompted offered me a late check out. This could have easily been resolved yesterday so I wouldn't have had to stand in the cold for 2.5 hours and then pay for an alternative property.

It was my second visit and I’m still pleasantly surprised by the hotel! From the fact that you can call them when you land so the shuttle can come pick you up; to how comfortable the beds are, the hotel is a good place to stay! The staff is also friendly and efficient! My only point to improve would be to have Pepsi available haha Otherwise I truly enjoyed it! Definitely recommend for anyone to stay there!

The room was good, they offered me the free shuttle to airport. Room had good facilities, good television which offers youtube. Relaxing bed and couch. Customer service at night was pretty harsh and did many mistakes and gave me a wrong room number. But Narda in morning was nice to me.

A good option for air travellers. Nice and close to the airport.
Rooms are nicely laid out and clean. Well-used but you won't notice it much.
The only negative would be there is no coffee bar. So you need to use your room machine or use the restaurant which then will cost you money.

I booked the room at about eleven thirty at night and flagged it that I was going to have a 2.30 — 3 AM arrival — when I got there, the lady at the front desk had already canceled it and flagged it as a no show. To be fair, they did reactivate the booking at the same price but it just took longer than normal at that time in the morning — wasn't super impressed as I didn't really feel like standing around waiting at thst point.
The room itself was good, nice and quiet and clean. The location is very handy near to the airport.

I stayed at the Hotel 11 for one night during a recent trip to Banff via Calgary. I stayed here the night before my flight due to its proximity to the airport.
The service at the hotel was good. I called the morning of arrival requesting an early check in, and the staff were able to accommodate my request without issue. The room I checked into was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable, and there were enough pillows to fill a house.
As long as one treats this as a hotel that is near to the airport, one would be very pleased with their experience here.

Amazing hotel and a great price too! The beds are comfy, the rooms are clean and the staff are so friendly. They also have a free shuttle to the airport and our driver was really nice. Great location close to the airport. Highly recommend!

It wasn’t horrible, but I will not be staying here again. King bed was comfortable and the steam shower was nice. The rooms are not sound proof as advertised. Our first room had an obnoxious noise coming from the plumbing so we moved and were given a room directly above the entrance door and we had beaming lights shining into our window and the curtains are not blacked out.
There are better options right next door.

Hotel was clean.
Staff at desk both for check in and check out where friendly.
Loved the fact that hot tub, pool and fitness centre open 24/7.
Location is 4* cause Google helped me get there. Wow could Calgary of made that more out of the way.
EV charger was nice but only 7.2 kw @$3.50 hr. And you had to sign up for yet another EV charger but that’s not the hotels fault.
Service 4* — to all bar staff, when a customer asks if you can make a particular drink, just be HONEST! The picture I posted is supposed to be an Old Fashioned and all it was is 2 shots of Makers Mark.
I’ll be back but I’ll order a Guinness next time.

I genuinely do not understand how this hotel managed to be rated 4-star. In my opinion, the best thing about this hotel is its proximity to the airport, and considering that there are tons of hotels in the Freeport area, that only earns it a 2-star at best.
This hotel uses 1-ply tissue and no bidet. It was my first time seeing the 1-ply, and I don't think it's decent, especially for a so-called 4-star hotel. I must also add that 2-star rated hotels in third-world countries do not use 1-ply toilet paper.
You need to go to the vending area to get water. A carafe was provided in my room to collect water from the vending area. This means that every time you need to drink water, you'd either have to travel to vend water each time you need it or drink contaminated water that you had previously collected. This is pointless and not very well thought out. Water is a basic need, and for over $300/night, you can make two bottles available in the rooms.
There were no shower caps in the rooms. I called to request one, and I was told to either go downstairs to get it myself or wait 30 minutes for the shuttle driver to return from his airport run so he could bring it to my room.
They get props for having a microwave in the room.
Overall, this was a very disappointing stay and a very misleading rating. Hotel 11 is basic and should not have the 4-star.

We only stayed here 1 night which is probably normal for a hotel near the airport and not much else.
The room was really spacious as was the bathroom. We had an accessible room and it had a step free shower.
The restaurant was very handy given that there’s nothing around and the food was excellent.

Great stay at Hotel 11! Super close to the airport yet completely quiet — no noise at all. The room was spotless, and it was a nice touch having coffee available in the room. Parking was easy with plenty of spots. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The service was excellent and very friendly. We showed up in the middle of the night without a reservation due to a mistake on my part and the woman at the front desk was very accommodating both in finding us a room even though it was fully booked and storing food that we had with us that needed to be kept frozen. She really helped us avert a mini crisis at the beginning of our vacation! Thank you!
