Grey Eagle Resort

We took our children with us on a work vacation, they have nothing for children. The pool is small and not very entertaining. Of the 5 restaurants on the property only one allows guests under the age of 18, the rest are within the casino so kids are a no go. On top of that when we tried to order room service, we were unable to reach them.
The television service was limited and the room had very little comfort. We were on an extended stay and told the maid service we didn't need the room refreshed our second day, as it could wait until the next day. They never returned. We had to flag someone down for fresh towels.
The conference that we attended was ran horribly as well. Far below other venues standards anyway. By the time they got the coffee out we were already adjourned for the day.

The venue itself was awesome—great sound, clean space, and a perfect setting for a concert like SB19.
BUT the security team really killed the vibe. They were too aggressive and unnecessarily strict.
One moment stood out: the crowd was cheering on a young girl to dance—she was literally standing in front of her own seat, enjoying the moment like everyone else. Even SB19 encouraged us to stand up and have fun. But a security guard singled her out and embarrassed her in front of the whole section. Totally uncalled for.
It felt like they were enforcing rules just for the sake of shutting things down—not for safety or order.
This kind of energy doesn’t belong in a concert that’s built around joy, community, and connection.
I hope future events here come with better, more understanding crowd control. The artists and fans deserve better.

Everything was perfect, fast and easy check in, rooms were clean and we had a great sleep, reasonably priced compared to other hotels. Went to the buffet for supper and breakfast, food was awesome and reasonably priced (you can't go wrong when paying $22 for 2 breakfasts) eggs, bacon, hash browns, sausage and coffees. Staff were always friendly and polite. Casino was fun, we lost a bunch but ended up winning it all back and quite a bit more. Great place to stay, this was our 2nd time staying and we will hopefully go back in the future.

It's a nice casino, but they really need to put up some glass between smoking and non-smoking. The entire building is filled with smoke. I, and my family won't come back only because the smoke had a negative impact on our health. Took a few days to breathe properly again and wash all the smoke off our clothing and hair. Food was very good. Good variety of slots.

Stayed here for an overnight trip to Calgary, have stayed at a few hotels around Calgary and I would say the great Eagle resort is probably one of the best. The hotel room was very clean and had more than enough space. The pool and hot tub were fantastic. The casino was fun and location was perfect for anything we wanted to do/see. Overall just a very pleasant and joyful stay will be back for sure.

The Hotel is beautiful from the main entrance, to the rooms and the Little Chief restaurant. Beds were very comfortable. Love the design elements of the room! Each staff encounter was excellent, they always exhibited a high level of customer service. Really appreciate the dining experience! Again the staff were very accommodating and approachable. Food was great, although the portions are too large. I attended the Colin James concert, which was epic!

Held a full day workshop in one of the conference rooms. There was a great selection for food that tasted delicious. The staff were really helpful with tech support and were accommodating. They provided great service with serving the food and it was easy to arrange everything. My only critique is that it would have been nice to have more outlets for plugging in our laptops around the room.

The buffet is amazing and I recommend the lunch. Been there above 10 times and the food is always a very quality and tasty. The staff are amazing and nice. If you ever want to go out to eat with a big family or group of friends with different taste and flavours I would recommend this amazing buffet. It’s not that expensive to have lunch there.

I stayed here for one overnight for a business conference I attended at the hotel. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, however, I would give a special shout out to the hotel porters who were always holding doors, saying hello and always with a big smile! The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. We dined at Little Chief restaurant and the service and food was fantastic! I would definitely stay here again.

Great venue for concerts — not too big, not too small. Well priced and names we want to see.
The rooms are clean and comfy. The meals at the Little Chief restaurant are good.
This trip we took my 11 year old, and despite not being able to go through the casino with him, it didn't take away from the good time we had. We were able to take in the pool & hot tub this time and it was great.

I love this casino, as a smoker they have a section for you to play slots, with lots of selection. There Bingo also has a smoking section and you can play bingo 7 days a week with afternoon, evening and late nights, for those that enjoy Bingo. The food was good, we had the breakfast special and as always there was more than enough food. The rooms were beautiful, beds comfortable, room was clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The hotel was nice. Comfortable rooms. Service was good. The rest of the facility was poor. Buffet just isn’t worth the cost. Service in the restaurants was poor. I often felt like the staff were inconvenienced by having to deal with a paying customer. The stale cigarette smoke smell permeating the facility is just nasty. If you’re going to allow smoking in the building at least have the adequate equipment to ventilate the building.

This was a fun trip. We decided to stay over night for the first time after purchasing April Wine Tickets. We had a blast. Great Concert! They were awesome.

If you like the glitz and service of the MGM in Vegas, you will like this hotel and casino. The rooms are big and clean with great beds and wonderful views. The casino is large and clean, but be prepared for the miasma of second hand smoke. Really can't believe smoking is still an option! The restaurant in the hotel is wonderful with friendly staff, great patio and small but interesting menu (including First Nations choices).

Our stay here is always good we love the rooms and the beds. The restaurants are awesome that they offer Indian Tacos on the menu. Big plus! it was great. I also love the refreshments they offer at the front desk for the guests.

Our stay was great! We were happy with our room and able to be placed next to our family who was also staying there close to elevator for convenience with our puppy. The buffet was sooo good with lots of options and tasty food!
We caught the Marilyn Manson concert and breakfast before checking out the next day. Everything was great and it was a perfect little get away close to home!

Beautiful resort had everything we needed in one space. We went for a concert and it was nice to be able to walk back to our room after. Had a mountain view which was nice to wake up to. Very quiet and the service is above and beyond. Little Chief restaurant had delicious options for breakfast. Would definitely stay there again if we found our selves in Calgary for another event.
