Reviews of Grey Eagle Resort 4*
Extremely Disappointed – Terrible Customer Service at Grey Eagle Resort & Casino.
I had a deeply frustrating experience at Grey Eagle Casino last night that has left me questioning whether I’ll ever return.
As part of their VIP program, players are encouraged to use their card to accumulate points that can be redeemed for rewards like meals. I spent over $600 playing and attempted to hand my VIP card to the dealer. To my surprise, he seemed completely disinterested, brushed me off, and sarcastically told me to give it to the pit boss—who was casually walking around, completely ignoring me. No acknowledgment, no help, just apathy.
Sadly, this isn’t a one-time experience—it’s part of an ongoing pattern. The customer service is consistently terrible. The staff, especially some dealers and pit bosses, seem more interested in chasing tips than treating customers with basic respect. I tipped generously—over $50—but it felt like they expected it. When you win, they stare you down until you tip, and if you don’t, they give dirty looks and make you feel uncomfortable.
Changing money? Same issue. Delays, sighs, and clear frustration like they’re doing you a favor. Tipping should be optional, not forced through guilt or attitude.
It’s hard not to feel like there’s bias happening on the floor. If you're not part of a certain group or don't speak a certain language, you’re made to feel like an outsider. It’s uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
Barbara in Little chief restaurant was exceptional. Delicious food. All staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and quiet. Love the fresh water and treats in lobby. The bell men were always smiling and made my day.

One of the best Casinos in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Everyone was having fun and the space felt friendly. I also like how the hotel has its own parking area and has separation from the event centre. Non smokers should be aware this Casino is smoke friendly. I am a non smoker and it didn't deter me from enjoying the experience. Overall it was a great time.
