The place has a luxurious vibe, the price per person is "fair". However I feel like despite being a buffet, there could be a larger selection of main course items. Having that said, their selection desserts are wide and will definitely satisfy the sweet tooth consumer! Additionally, it may have just been the day I went, but the staff didn't seem to be very enthusiastic. I will most certainly come back to try again, and I'd recommend others to try this place as well. For consumers with a deeper pocket, the Casino will be very enticing; large selection of games and spacious.

We love the food at Grey Eagle! I have been there for the sea food night and just a regular weekend. The sea food night was incredibly busy but the staff were well equipped and they were quick to refill fresh foods and severs were prompt at refilling drinks and clearing plates. The prices are low, and lots of seasoned foods to choose from. I enjoy all the selections from appetizers, main courses, soups, desserts, and fruits.

Really disappointed with our experience having to be sent to another hotel late in the evening when the hotel was overbooked and our room was given away despite our reservation weeks in advance. I work in hospitality and the way it was handled was extremely frustrating. The news of the hotel being sold out was told to us in a way that said "We are sorry but its not our problem at this point" and only when we pleaded for options did it get worked out to send us to another hotel. This took 45 minutes and added an hour and a half to our evening which was late as is. Really brutal customer report with one particular front desk agent, the other was more sympathetic but not equipped to handle what seemed like a policy error and lack of communication with their guests. Glad a solution was worked out in the end and thankful we did have our night a the other hotel covered… however this was not an enjoyable experience. To the managers, please train and equip your staff with better confidence with what to do in those situations that doesn't make your guests feel like they are just out of luck the day your hotel overbooked its rooms. They deserve to be confident in explaining these situations to guests and offering solutions right away rather than once a fuss is put up. Overall the hotel looked lovely in the lobby… but never made it to the rooms to rate.

Attended the buffet on the "tastes of the Americas" night. The food quality was typical of buffet fare but the selection of foods were an interesting and pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was excellent, as one might expect from a casino. The service was attentive, our server was friendly and a pleasure to interact with. The chef was also more than accommodating of our groups dietary restriction. Some of the desserts seemed underpar but it was nothing too off-putting. I would absolutely return.

I've only ever been to the stage here and it's not bad. However, the bar is not equipped at all to deal with the amount of people they bring in for events. The line up was at least 20 minutes for not even very long of a line. This to me is not a deal breaker but it is extremely annoying if you want a beverage. Outside of that, from a venue perspective, the sound is good and the area is enormous.

The room there are nice and clean. The free breakfast was AWESOME, wasn't what we expected, when they said "complimentary breakfast"! You'll be satisfied for sure. We ate at the buffet for dinner, prime rib night, it too was delicious. Then gambled for a bit, won some money… so all in all it was a good stay.

We stayed in our RV rental overnight in their overflow lot. It's a grass lot. It had just rained, so it was a little muddy. BUT it was free. Just had to check in with the front security desk. There was obviously not a bathroom (washroom) out in the grass lot, but free is free. Highly recommend it if you're stopping in your RV in Calgary.

I love staying here. The rooms are always so clean, views into the foothills are beautiful. If you can get a room with a bath you wont regret it. Super deep tub. The hotel always smells so nice. The little chief restaurant has amazing food. The casino buffet is ok, we've only ever been on the weekend for prime rib. If you want a million choices for dessert this is the buffet for you. Highly recommend the place over all.

Seafood night was the best! Haven’t enjoyed seafood buffet this much before! From what I heard there always is a long line up, we got there early so we didn’t have to wait too long to be seated. Seafood was great! AB steak is superb! Dessert table?!? Was the best! Service was lovely, our server made sure our drinks are always full and made sure our table is cleaned up for our new plates. Will I come back? Absolutely!

I attended the Grey Eagle Casino for a concert showing. It was a nice venue with all the amenities you would expect. They meet the minimal requirements. Washrooms, seats, speakers etc. Beyond that I cannot say there was a lot that went above and beyond the experience except for the staff. Very friendly and cordial. They accommodated some additional requests that made me feel appreciated as a guest.

Best casino resort in Calgary. We always stay at this hotel when we are in town. The beds and pillows are super comfortable — softest bed we have ever slept on. There is a swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, and fitness room. Love the outdoor hot tub, especially in the winter when there is snow outside. There is complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning. The connected casino is a great place for entertainment. Staff are super friendly and poker action is always good. Absolutely one of our favorite place to stay.

We had a wonderful weekend staying at the Grey Eagle Resort. We were greeted by a pleasant staff member who graciously switched us to a room with a layout that had more open space and would work better for our 2 young kids. The room was clean with very comfortable beds and furniture that was easy to rearrange so that we could have sleeping areas for both kids. We loved swimming in the pool and the outdoor hot tub was amazing as well. We had a great dinner at the restaurant and we also enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast that had a wide variety of foods. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful and helped ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of.

I have not slept at the hotel but I was there for a conference, the casino and bingo :P the hotel is fairly new. Everything is modern with a first nations twist. It's located on a first nations reserve where the non-smoking in a building law doesn't apply. You can smoke in the bingo hall and one half of the room on the casino side. They have great air ventilation so on the non-smoking side you don't smell smoke. I found it pretty cool how they have digital machines in the bingo hall but of course you still have the option to go classic with paper and a dabber. Overall it's a great place with friendly and helpful staff :)

Great hotel and event center. Rooms are bigger than most and clean with everything you need. Concert area has a great set up and even at the back you still have a good view. Staff is all amazing and friendly. Only complaint is that breakfast could use a few more selections.

Very beautiful rooms. The casino was bright and welcoming. The in room pop, chips and chocolate bars-mini bar was cool but $3.00 for a can of pop-ouch. The meeting room was nicely set up and the lunch was good. Can't wait to go back and explore.

Not having been back to Grey Eagle Casino for a while I figured it was time to reacquaint myself and sadly I walked away disappointed. It's seafood night ($38.99/person) so I figured the seafood would be plentiful and delicious! The latter wasn't true with the majority of the seafood being served being overcooked and quite salty. For example, the chilled crab legs and heated lobster claws were cooked to the point that using the shell cracker proved ineffective as the shells were too soft. Soft shell aside, it was difficult to get the meat out of the shells and they lacked flavor. It was mainly… just… salty. On the plus side, the crab claws were good and cooked well and the scallops on the half shell were also good. All the dishes were topped up regularly so you don't have to worry about not getting any when you see someone walk by with a very healthy portion of a single item on their plate. Dessert was good and as I mentioned earlier the service was great! Attentive, friendly, helpful Would I be back? Probably not for seafood night… but I remember Asian Wednesdays ($32.99/person, or whichever night they have sushi which I thought was seafood night) was good when I went a couple years ago. Prime rib buffet ($24.99/person) is another night I'm interested in trying as well.

Great place, LOTS of parking, many many slots as well as the many blackjack, mahjong, craps and poker tables. If you're Hungary be sure to check the restaurant buffet, always great soups (some very unique ones) plus the Chinese food and Roast beef, ham or turkey. So many desserts, you won't make it through 1/3rd of them. This one of my fave restaurants. Seafood special on Wednesday!

Attended a Christmas party through my boyfriend's work. It was a lot of fun. Room was the perfect size for the amount of people that went. All the staff were friendly and did an amazing job. They were quick and courteous when removing empty/dirty plates and glasses.

Love the concert auditorium and have seen many bands and acts here. Love the restaurant. Love the hotel and its rooms. Even love the casino and its buffet at restaurant. Cant go to the casino anymore as the cigarette smoke makes it difficult to breathe and last time my eyes burned for hours after. Lose the smoking and you've got 5 Stars all around.

I like the Casino, it's close to my house so it's easy to go play.

The hotel and meeting Centre is a great place to conduct meetings without interruption. The facility is clean and modern with staff that are attentive and professional. The Little Chief Restaurant has a great menu with variety and reasonable pricing. There is plenty of parking for the hotel and restaurant on site and the location is easy to reach for most areas of the city. Well worth a try.

Good food and great bands. Never had the buffet yet but the resturant makes good food at good prices. Found the casino a little on the smoky side, but then again I'm sensitive to smoke. But considering how many people I saw smoking. The air quality was actually quite good. Seen a couple of concert now and I really enjoyed the size and sound of the hall.

This casino was fair years ago. Ive played the slots there for years and I do believe this place is corrupt. I thought at first it was coinsidence machines paying then not but after winning 2000 they plied us with free booze I rarely drink and we put the money back in, on our way out with 50 left I picked a machine and won back the 2000. Several times and I mean several I do believe they will give you a small jackpot then turn your machine off. The machines have microphones to listen to your conversations and they follow you and or watch you play from a distance.

When it originally opened, Grey Eagle had a great reputation for tasty buffets. It seems to be a little long in the tooth as the food is quite lack lustre now. The most recent Christmas brunch I attended was barely edible. Casino is a casino, event hall is usually a great time.

Went for the Asian buffet. Food was fairly good and filling. The sushi chef that night was a bit sporadic and didn't make enough sushi for the folks in the lineup before walking away, only to come back a few minutes later with a different lineup of people waiting. Other than that the experience was good and would come back to get the Asian food fix.

The room were very spacious. The only had a shower in the room which might downfall but there complimentary breakfast made up for it. It had a huge selection of hot food choices and good see ice as well. I would highly anyone wanting to stay there.

Only way to get there is by car … no transit. Would benefit from shuttle service from nearest transit hub. Plan to stay put for at least an hour after live shows get out … gridlock traffic exiting to only one roadway artery. Beautiful building, big casino, lots of food and bar areas, good list of live show performers.

The lunch buffet was a fair price for all the great food. The pork loin was a little dry. But still great food. And great service. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

The room was great. They would not let me back into the casino because I was wearing Death from Above shirt from the concert. After the show was done at 12:30. I was not too intoxicated to go back into the casino. I had money to spend. I had rented a room for the night so I could get intoxicated. And as I tried to get back into the casino they would not let me in because I was wearing a t-shirt from the concert I think or some stupid reason like they thought I was too intoxicated. I don't think I was too intoxicated and I deserve my money back for the room I had rented when I basically needed to stay in it after 12:30 a. M. Because they thought I was too intoxicated.

Went there for a Gordon Lightfoot concert. Smoking is still allowed apparently in the casino area. This air somehow makes it into the concert venue. My eyes felt heavy from it very quickly, so felt sleepy almost immediately from breathing this air. Funny how a few decades ago this was then norm and we all just lived with it, but now, after having been free from it for so long, the effect is noticed so strongly.

Popular destination for entertainment events with an excellent venue for smalll concerts. The hotel is not particularly upscale or budget type, but generally good value in the $160 — $200 range. Very good buffet as well as an excellent cafe restaurant.

Really enjoy going to live events at the Grey Eagle. They have lots of space for dancing. Its a medium-sized venue where you can actually see the artist perform. Also like the buffet. The chocolate fountains a big hit.

We spent $250 on a hotel room for a suite at this hotel so we could stay after a concert be responsible after having a few drinks. We arrived at the pub right after the concert ended hungry wanted to grab something to eat. We arrived before 1:00 am which is when the kitchen was supposed to close and they would not serve us food not even a cold sandwich in a box. No hotdogs available they had ran out literally NO FOOD available after 1:00 am. My husband and I would have dropped a couple hundred dollars in the casino that night but instead we got handed a pizza menu to order to our room by the front desk. Terrible service would never go back.

First time coming here… and I have to say it's one of the best casino and resorts I've been to. The floors, machines are extremely clean and look great. The buffet is great with a nice staff. Quick service on drinks/cleaning table.

Wonderful place, great restaurant, great hotel, and wonderful staff. They also have an event center but I have never attended a concert. I would say hands down best Casino in Calgary, Alberta. Wide range of slots and table games, a smoking or non smoking section which is very nice for smokers. Large number of table games and also a 24/7 poker room.

Just got back from the Thanksgiving Buffet at Grey Eagle Resort & Casino. Don't waste your time or money. The food was cold and the turkey cut extremely thick (approx. 3/8 "). The cookies in the dessert section were hard turds or like shards of glass. So very disappointing. This meal experience was as different as day and night from the last time we enjoyed the buffet. Will be a very long time before I'm back, if ever. Actually thinking of reporting them to the Health Inspector. There is no way the serving trays are at the correct temperature.

Lovely place! Great staff, very pleasant and helpful. Room was great too, very clean and well designed. Also, very good location next to Signal Hill shopping centers. All around awesome experience! I will definitely be going back to Grey Eagle Resort next time I'm in Calgary.

Very nice hotel and clean. Staff was very friendly. Had a steak sandwich it was a big portion and done to perfection. I would recommend this hotel. Going to go have the hot breakfast buffet witch is included with the room. The price was very reasonable also. The bed was roomy and very comfortable.

Nice, modern room with all the amenities. Every staff member we encountered was really friendly. The room service meals tasted amazing and the complimentary breakfast buffet was great. Highly recommended!

Best place in town for concerts. Good sound, good seats, good bands. Getting out of the parking lot after concert can be slow, but they do they're best to direct traffic.

Review is for seafood buffet only: Price was rather high for the quality and selection of seafood. You are limited to 1.5 hours, which should be more than enough time for most people to eat their fill, even with the line ups. Seafood selection included crab claws, crab legs, lobster claws, big cocktail shrimps, stir fried clam and mussel. The crab and lobster entrees were all cooked from frozen so not the tastiest, but not horrible either. The buffet was quite busy. There was a long line outside of the restaurant as well as a long cue for the food. The servers were super busy running around clearing plates and refilling drinks, but tried their best to be attentive and friendly, so a thumbs up to them. The environment was good, free pop is included in the dinner price, and the dessert selection is always impressive (it even had a little diabetic station). All in all I think Wednesday's Asian buffet which has sushi and sashimi is a better deal at $28 (? ) than Thursday's seafood buffet at $39.

Beautiful and modern hotel with very spacious and clean rooms. Staff is beyond friendly and I enjoyed breakfast there as well. I am not a big gambler but surely enjoyed a few hours in the casino and the bars. Thank you, our stay there was pleasant.

My boyfriend and I went to Grey Eagle Casino Buffet twice with his mom when we were in Calgary. The buffet is at the Grey Eagle Casino, which located right beside the Lincoln Park. You must have a car to go there. By accident, We always went there on Pan – Asian food Wednesday night. : (The environment is very clean and big. The waitresses were friendly and nice. For me, there were no many selections for Asian food and taste of the food was OK. Not fancy and different from other Asian restaurants. There was a wide selection of dessert. To be honest, I would like to go back to this casino buffet to try on Seafood night Thursday or BBQ Buffet on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The noon buffet on Wednesdays has the best large beef ribs I have ever eaten. All of the food items were excellent. The floor was very clean. Not super busy. Excellent selection. Also have excellent rock concerts, comedians, hypnotists, get the discount card.

Went to the buffet restaurant. The service was great but the food was alright, nothing special but filled you up. I was part of a group of three and the total was 56 dollars, which I thought was very well priced (I've heard that different days cost different depending on the theme that day). Nice that the drinks are included in the buffet price. Dessert was pretty good, while the main buffet line was okay. Inside of the restaurant was clean and comfortable.

I left a show smelling like smoke. Chairs so close to each other it was awkward. It took almost 40 minutes to get out out the lot after. Handicap parking spots are not regulation width. Otherwise lovely.

Tucked away in between the hotel and the casino lies Little Chief. The restaurant has a new captain at the helm and you better believe that this isn't your typical hotel restaurant. The patio is a new addition that is bright, modern and comfortable. Their kitchens are always 'tour ready' and their motto when it comes to food is : every flavour, every bite. You will never have to peel back the layers only to find an uneven distribution of condiments. Portioning is generous, the average price of their menu is 18$, and a very large chunk of their menu is actually vegan and gluten-free or can be made that way. Head over there, and if you get the chance to speak to Chef Bill, you will absolutely be inspired to see 'hotel' food so very differently.

I lik this place because I am 76 yrs old and I can gamble but I imigrated from africa and I am bad at gambling because we had no casinos there and now I have no moneee and im a hobo so I cant travel to england to see thatcherjoe and Jim Chapman and meet them because I am hobo and hobo is poor.

I went to go see M83. The venue was very clean and well organized. The halls were open and never felt crowded despite the big crowd that turned up for the concert. The sound quality was great, and the view of the stage was great from all angles.

Went to see zz top at the events center. Seating was comfortable, sound was great, and they even had Big screens in case you had a bad angle. Would definitely go back for another event.

Great bingo hall. Love the fact u can still smoke in the hall vrs the other bingo halls. I go outta my way to go to Grey Eagle for that reason only. Good food, but didn't really like the buffets. Seafood buffet was horrible. And I love seafood. Breakfast buffet was so so… Been to better.

My first time at Grey Eagle Resort and Casino, myself, husband and 3 friends attended the Australian BeeGees Show. The 5 of us ate at the buffet and found it to be an awesome selection of food and delicious varied desserts. The service was great… loved the venue as the size makes the show way more personal. This group had everyone either clapping; singing; dancing… or all 3! Even with the show being delayed 1 hour due to a tragic traffic accident, this, first time to Calgary, group really put on a fabulous show! Definitely will use Grey Eagle casino as our next venue for our next outing!

Grey Eagle Casino is off the exit of 37 St on Glenmore Trail. Went on a Tuesday night for the buffet. Monday and Tuesday is "Western themed cuisine night" for $17.99, their cheapest buffet offering. Hot entrees included beef sliders, mini sirloin steaks, baked potatoes, bok choy, ginger beef, chow mein, veggie spring rolls, beef brisket, pulled pork, Mexican rice pilaf, refried beans, kiko? fish, mixed veggies, spinach and ham soup, and a couple more I forget. There majority of the area was desserts and cold food including a fondue fountain, fresh fruit, diabetic desserts, cream puffs, strawberry trifle cake, pies, toffee dessert, brownies, chocolate mousse cups, assorted cheesecakes, blueberry yogurt, cheese, and salads, among other things. Back when it was under $15 per person it was a great deal, but now it doesn't seem worth it anymore. Unless you force yourself to eat as much as humanly possible you don't feel like you're getting your money's worth, and if you do, you leave feeling sick to your stomach with indigestion. The servers will ask you for drinks, however, when I tried to ask for an orange juice I was told it would be an extra $4. Although there were not that many patrons and the restaurant area was relatively empty, the servers still took a fair amount of time to refill drinks and remove plates given the sheer size of the restaurant area. Would've appreciated a self serve drink machine and some ice cream.

The hotel is great and they had an amazing show for Chinese new years. One of my favorite casinos in Calgary. Great poker room and friendly staff.

We spent just over a week at this resort while my dad was sick at the Rockyview General Hospital (very sorry drive. ) The service at the hotel was fantastic and the rooms were very quiet at all times of day. The front desk staff went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. The pool was salt water and heated. It's depth was perfect for the kids to play in and for me to swim laps. The outdoor hot tub was a plus.

The buffet has some very good Prime Rib. It rivals some steakhouses that actually specialize in Prime Rib. The only major issue is that since it's on a Native reservation they allow smoking indoors. This is great if you're a smoker but if you're a non-smoker this can be bothersome.

Went to see SYTYCD 12. Great show! Horrible venue! Will NEVER attend another event at Grey Eagle again. Could not see the performers except from the waist up. Kind of pointless since it was a DANCE performance. I could watch the big screens, but then I could have stayed home and watched my PVR. The sound quality was lousy. It was just muddy. They turned it up extra loud to hide that. It didn't help. Just bad acoustics. Exiting the parking lot was a special thrill. No one was directing traffic and apparently they have never heard of traffic barriers. It was a thousand car free for all. It took 20 minutes to move about 12 car lengths.

Neat casino lots of table games to go with the slots although many were not open at non peak time. Don't begrudge that though. Still find the smoke carries throughout the casino though. Haven't tried entertainment but looks like they are booking some decent comedians and bands.

I visited on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of November 2015. The Hotel and room was very nice and new. The staff was very helpful. The free breakfast was pretty good, and I ate once in the hotel for dinner, and it was very good. The Casino was not what I had expected. I frequent Casino's in Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Las Vegas, so I was a bit let down. Not a bit of excitement in the Casino. The exchange rate was not what it should have been either. The one thing I would watch out for is the deposit on the hotel room. I have no problem with a deposit for incidentals, but I was charged an extra $100 for each night. (total $300 for 3 nights) This was a new one on me. Also when comparing prices for hotels in Calgary, the Grey Eagle had the better price. However, all of the other hotels pricing included all taxes and fees. The Grey Eagle did not include the taxes and fee in their quote. So if you're not aware of this, you will be when you go to check in or out. Buyer beware! If you stay at the Grey Eagle request a mountain-side room. The view is incredible and Calgary is a beautiful city.

Went for the Russell Peters show. Took over an hour to exit the parking lot after the show. They didn't know how to direct traffic. Won't be coming back again.

Went to see Russell Peters at the event centre, the show was great but the venue was horrible. The rows of chairs were so close together that everyone had to get up and get out so that we could get to our seats. On top of that, the chairs were so close together that my shoulders were pushed up against both people next to me. It wasn't horrible, but for the price of the tickets I expected a lot more. I would definitely think twice about seeing a sit down show at the event centre.

I was at the Halloween Howler hosted by CJAY 92. Wow did I ever have a great time. The event centre at the Grey Eagle casino is fantastic. I for sure will be attending more events at this venue.

Easy check-in/check-out and room was clean and comfortable. Included breakfast was pretty good and location was conviently just off Glenmore Trail. Would stay again.

PROS: Great host hotel location for the Calgary Ironman 70.3, MUCH better than the Hyatt the previous year and just minutes from the finish line. Decent hotel, clean, included breakfast and event rates were good value. Large rooms with big TV's in each room, front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all a decent hotel at a reasonable rate. CONS: Rooms have extremely minimal lighting and are very dim at night. Cleaning staff skipped our room every day and we were forced to call the front desk each day just to get the room cleaned. No service elevator so staff was constantly occupying the guest elevators without any concern for guests. (Maybe this isn't as big of an issue when there are not 100 guests with bikes in the hotel, not sure. ) Cleaning and bell staff also seemed to place a lot of time and interest in their cell phones instead of guest comfort. Hot tub was broken for the whole weekend (a big problem when you are hosting an athletic event) Event menus seemed last minute and were not well planned out or organized. You need to tailor the menu to your target customers and the food didn't cut it for a pre/post-race meal for Ironman so I think most people ate off site. Restaurants in the hotel are very basic.

I've been there for concerts and lunch. Food is great and the entertainment centre has excellent acoustics. Lately they have been booking a wide variety of acts which is great. Something for me at 50+ and something for my daughter at 20+. I don't do much gaming but if I did it would be here due to the quality of the facility. Also, I have found their staff to be VERY friendly, including their security. I should provide a con too — the line to get into the buffet could be faster.

Sunday Brunch was excellant! Defiantley worth the price. :).

We enjoyed the buffet with the wide selection of food types, and the staff were very friendly and attentitive but not intrusive. Fabulous evening.

I have nothing be great things to say about the Grey Eagle Resort and Event Centre. We host an event in their event center called "The Body Soul and Spirit Expo", and moved from Stampede Park last year. It's the best thing we've done! Free Parking, great hotel right on the grounds, and a wonderful new carpeted and well staffed event center. Everyone went beyond the call of duty, and make our experience the best yet. Our Attendees raved about it. They especially loved the free parking, something you don't see at any other large event venue in Calgary. Our door went up considerable, and satisfaction rating went thought the roof on our feedback forms.

The hotel and hotel staff were incredible. The rooms were beautiful and we we not disappointed with the view either. The dining experience in the hotel section was very impressive, not to mention the complementary breakfast the next day. They way we were treated upon arrival made us want to return, which we will be on December 26th. I will have to say though, we are unimpressed with the Buffet Dining in the casino section. We've been there a few times and the last time we dined there was back in May of this year for Brunch. It wasn't overly busy, but the inadequate staff were extremely lazy and moved at a snails pace to clean tables, serve us water and coffee and we had to ask for cutlery? It took us and our party approximately 1 hour to eat and enjoy our coffees and dessert and the tables around us were STILL untouched. The staff were just chatting, standing around and basically doing nothing. This is no exaggeration. We literally had to wave someone over to serve us more coffee and water. Very poor service in this area and only this area. We like this casino, hotel, the hotel restaurant and the Blaze Bar. We are not your typical fussy patrons who like to complain about everything, and pick everything apart, we do however know good service when we get it and will tip very well accordingly. We will never dine in the Buffet again and we've passed this on to others.

The seafood buffet used to be the best, until a certain ethnic group ruined it by completely gorging. We have actually seen them stuffing seafood into hand bags to take home. Since that time, the price of the seafood buffet has gone up about 50%. We asked mgmt. Why the steep increase, and mgmt. Blamed these gorgers. Follow this up by this group's unhygienic behaviour, as mentioned in other posts, and, you guessed it, we don't go to the seafood buffet any more. We do however enjoy the other buffets. They are very good. Fortunately we don't see the same offensive behaviours for the non-seafood buffets. Maybe it's a cultural thing, and the seafood buffet brings it out. The only other complaint, is their breakfast. It was spectacular, and now it is mediocre at best. To top it off, the price went from $2 to $5. It was a great draw, and we used to meet friends for breakfast, and occasionally the slots afterwards. Not sure why mgmt. Changed it up. Big disappointment.

Excellent spacious accommodation's and great hospitality. Very clean and luxurious best value for dollar in Calgary.

My husband Douglas and I stayed at this amazing resort in July 2014. It was brand spanking new. I can't say enough good things about the staff. Everyone was so helpful. When we asked for directions, they'd print us a map. We enjoyed every aspect of this resort. The complimentary breakfast was more than adequate. The food in the casino was also good. We did slip over to the casino a couple of times. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! We would be amiss if we didn't single out Keegan Starlight. He helped us get settled in the night we arrived and that was greatly appreciated! Thanks again.

I went for the seafood buffet and was impressed with the servers. I was disgusted though at how some customers showed no manners when getting their food. I saw some who picked crab legs with their bare hands! I told the people in charge at that time. I love seafood so I went back months later and noticed that the same was happening. Maybe if they can station a server at these popular food tables to keep unhygienic practices at bay.

Great experience and excellent service from everyone we dealt with throughout the resort. We booked online based on the reviews and I'm so glad we did. The hotel feels so new and modern. We had fun taking a stroll through the casino, and each took our turns playing the slot machines. They have a nice patio at the restaurant to that we discovered after we checked out. Excellent hotel.
