Nice area to stay in with great community of people who take care of guests well.

I had such a wonderful stay here! I loved its rustic charm, the story of the place itself, the forest trails that surround it, Balance (the sweetest dog and lodge mascot) and the very warm hospitality! Thank you Spencer for giving me a lay of the land, being so willing to help and for digging me out of the snow!

Wonderfully secluded and welcoming. Total gem.

We were searching for a place to celebrate our parents' 60th wedding anniversary where all 22 of us (ranging in age from 2 to 86) could spend flexible and quality time together. We happened upon Folk Tree Lodge and rented the whole facility from July 20 — 24th. It was a just perfect, a fun and relaxing retreat for our family. All three kitchens are huge and well equipped with everything we needed, including tons of space for storage and multiple cooks. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the bathrooms spacious and clean, and the space was so versatile for all our activities. We had big brunches, scavenger hunts, outdoor games, bbq's, as well as a formal sit down meal in the Deer house sunroom. There was ample space and opportunity for private time on the trails and patios, and Bragg Creek was close by if we needed anything. Spencer was very accommodating and helped us shift things around from lodge to lodge, and we were able to rig up a slide presentation and karaoke. We also made great use of the treehouse, piano and fireplace, and the children were enamoured with the lovely, gentle dog. Our parents were beside themselves to have such a memorable family event in such a special place. Highly recommended!

Spencer was an exceptional host for us a couple weeks ago. We had a small, beautiful wedding at the folk tree lodge and everything was absolutely perfect. All the guests loved the location and the kids especially loved the tree house. This place is a gem.

Just attended a wedding. At Folk Tree and the place was stunning and a true escape. Spencer went above and beyond helping move tables, chairs for us and always has a smile on his face. His family is also equally amazing and we are fortunate to have such a gem close by.

I great place to get away. It has everything you would need for a quick getaway, all you need to bring is food and clothing. The people there are very friendly. Some of the walking trails go through a some marshy areas so bring appropriate footwear. The Deer Lodge is an amazing cabin and the decorations are interesting and fun to discover.

We stayed at the Deer House. It was perfect. Loved it! We had a small wedding ceremony and the owner and Spencer and Sabrina were all wonderful and helpful. I'm thinking we'll be back. Plan to not have Wi-Fi as it was spotty and had a cap or something. But you don't need it. Enjoy the area! Explore :) and say hi to their puppy for me cause I am missing that beast!

Cabins are awesome. Staff is great. This is a really nice retreat. The place has a couple of light trails for hiking / snowshoeing, and you are 10 minutes away from the big mountain trails in Bragg Creek.

We stayed in the little beaver for three nights and it was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be coming back! Next time we will bring friends and stay all together in one of the larger cabins! Not only were the cabins and the land beautiful but the staff were so wonderfully kind and welcoming. Our kids loved the new playset, watching dear, eating giant carrots in the garden and helping out with yard work. I can not say enough nice things about the Folk Tree Lodge. Thank you guys for a wonderful weekend away.
