Takes money from a mother of 3 kids, for a extra night, when they didn’t even stay the night. Would not recommend booking here!

My husband and I booked this hotel for our anniversary that we finally got to get away for in years. They lied to us about the price of the hotel and when we got there said too bad and they will do nothing to rectify. I’m so disappointed. They had us sign the form saying they would get their manager to fix it for us. Finally got a call from the manager almost a week later to be berated and belittled on the phone and told “you signed the form ma’am so sorry”. That must be how they run their business DISHONESTLY with NO CUSTOMER LOYALTY. I can not express how disappointed I am. Not to mention the room was stinky and the bathroom had grunge from the last guests. Crusty make up on the counter and sticky fingerprints on the toilet paper holder. “Just wash it off ma’am, sorry about that” when I called to tell them. Gross gross gross. We could hear foot steps and doors closing and sinks/showers running all night long. So much for getting away from the kids for a couple nights and getting some rest. Which I would have sucked up had they chosen to give us the hotel for the actual price we were quoted instead of misleading and being dishonest. So, so disappointing and I will never be back nor will I be recommending to ANYONE in the future. Ever. So saddened by this.

Stinky room, old, pillows not comfortable-bathroom so small you have to close door before you can sit down. Not impressed at all!

The room was decent for what it was, a little overpriced. However, completely shocked by the lack of signage or fore warning of a covid surcharge. I get the circumstances of the world, but transparency is key here and Holiday Inn dropped the ball.

Staffs were very friendly and I myself thanked them for accommodating my churchmates into our special gathering. Good food as well :)

Fantastic stay! Was upgraded without question to a jacuzzi suite, that soak in the tub with the wife was a welcomed reprieve from the long drive from Alaska. Very polite staff at the desk and bar. The food was tasty and not expensive. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed at. Beautiful rooms and it's very clean and the staff is great. The restaurant staff is very kind to us and I would definatly stay here again.

Checked in fairly late and the young lady at the desk was incredibly nice about it! Gave me an upgrade to a king size bed! Will definitely recommend this place to everyone!

They totally messed up the reservations check in was advertised from 3pm we arrived @6pm only to be told the rooms were not yet ready. They did supply dinner for our party as compensation. The mobility impaired room did not have the advertised roll in shower only bars around the bath shower combo. The toilet was very low too low to be a mobility room. Pool was nice and heated but there own rules on swimming attire were not adhered to as a lady entered the pool in full clothing. The sign said cooked to order breakfast but no we were given a coupon next morning that was only accepted in the " closed for renovations" dining room.

Stayed here for one night with my wife. Got a free upgrade to a jacuzzi which was nice. This is an older hotel so the rooms show some wear, but everything is well kept and clean. I'd say it is an above average 3-star hotel.

Was attending an event for my crew from work at the lounge at the Holiday Inn. Service was alright. Considering how busy the bar was (it wasn't very busy), I expected more attentive service. Menu was less than great. Limited choices on the menu, there wasn't much to even consider ordering. The platter "deals" for appetizers in the lounge are ridiculously expensive for the small amount of food you get. Otherwise, good drinks, good bar service, good clean area, nice atmosphere for such a small lounge. They make a killer poutine! (for $7.50) I can't comment on the actual restaurant, or the hotel, as the lounge is the only spot I visited. Hotel is in great proximity to all local amenities, I mean it is literally right in the middle of Hinton. It's a max 15 minute walk in either direction to anything you want. Groceries, fast food, fancy food, Greek, Chinese, Japanese, coffee, and so much more. Check it out, especially if you're staying at the Inn! But, I recommend Woodcutter Lounge above this one. It's the best in Hinton for everything. Service, atmosphere, prices, and food. Perfect lounge.

I stayed in here for my trip to Jasper. Jasper is about 2 hours drive from Hinton. I was just looking for good budget hotel to stay and this one is quite good hotel. Not very expensive and good clean rooms. The only thing is the noise of AC was sometimes irritating and they have old AC's which goes to sleep automatically sometimes. Apart from that customer service and location was good. Many near by restaurants to eat from. Definitely good choice if travelling to Jasper.

Good place to stay relatively close to Jasper NP. In Hinton there is nothing to see or do. It's just a village near the highway. Rooms are clean but old fashioned. Beds are not that good, very soft. Friendly people.

One of the worst places I've stayed. The bed was so soft and lumpy I couldn't sleep a wink woke up with a sore back that lasting 2 weeks. The room was drab noisy and mismatched. I had to leave a day early I couldn't stand to sleep in that bed one more night. Needless to say I will never stay in this hotel again. The one star is for the girls in the restaurant that brightened my morning with their humor and Goodwill.

Location is right by the highway, easy access to the services in Hinton. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nice. A bit dated compared to other holiday inns but still okay.

I always make a point to stay here when traveling from or to BC. The staff are extremely friendly and the rooms are so clean and smell fresh and the prices are amazing! I love everything about this hotel.

Camt speak for rooms … but restaurant and pub are great, service and food are spot on and relaxing environment any day of the week … so far everything on the menu has been better then offered …

My partner and I ate at the restaurant in this hotel the green acre. If you're ok with eating your typical greasy spoon joint for meals then this is up your alley. My breakfast was cold and greasy and had no flavor. I left it and the waitress who was amazing, refunded me my money for the meal and was very sorry. I added the refunded money to her top as this quality of food is not her fault. I wouldn't recommend eating here at all, however the staff in this hotel and restaurant are super human beings. Very courteous, professional helpful and friendly. That is a huge bonus in my books.

Great hotel for a good price. Pool, steam room, waterslide, hot tub – all in a good shaper and ready for your family. Restaurant is cosy and we enjoyed our breakfast. Lady working at reception desk is very professional.

The staff were amazing, they kept the pool open a bit longer so I could tire out my toddler after a long road trip. That was awesome! The beds/pillows were heavenly. My only complaint is the sound proofing is not very good. I heard every step of the people above us and was woken up by them yelling and stomping at 3am.

Just stayed here with my mom and my toddler. We got in at 9:30pm and we asked how late the pool was open. The desk attendant offered to keep it open a bit longer so we could tire out my toddler after a long car ride. This was amazing of him to do! We were so impressed. The bed and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud! My one complaint is the the soundproofing in the building is not great. Heard every step of our upstairs neighbour and him yelling at 3am…

This building is dated. No elevator to the second floor so make sure you book in the first floor if you have any accessibility issues… The pool area didn’t seem particularly clean… There was an issue with our room but the staff worked extra hard to correct it. Staff get 5 stars!

Used to be my go-to place for poutine and chicken wings. Great staff and draft on tap with a relaxing atmosphere made it a favourite amongst my friends but now the wings have changed and the poutine is the WORST IN TOWN. Don’t change what used to be great. It’s garbage.

My recent 5 night stay was awesome. It was during the cold spell over the holiday so I was indoors pretty much the whole time and got to know the staff and the hotel very well.
The bed was super comfortable and every part of the room, lobby, restaurant & lounge was very clean.
I worked out in the gym everyday, which was nice as each machine had its own TV station. Made the running go by way faster! The staff were super friendly & caring. Very positive energy. …
The food was delicious, my favorite was the hamburger (homemade & deeee-licious! ). My daughter and her boyfriend had the ribs (a little chewy), salmon, penne, sirloin salad and enjoyed all of it. The serving staff were so accommodating & prompt. Thanks to all of them!
I would go back in a heartbeat. If the weather would have been better, after the exploring I did, there is skating on a pond within the Beaver Boardwalk trails (beauuuutiful) right in Hinton. Hinton Nordic Centre is 20k away for x-country skiing, Marmot in Jasper for downhill skiing and snowshoeing at numerous locations. Holiday Inn is the Place to stay!

They advertise free hot breakfast, but when you arrive you learn it's only for two guests per room.

During my vacation with hubby and a friend, we stayed here and loved the place. Great location, excellent breakfast, good swimming pool. All n all a lovely place to stay.

Liked the hotel… had microwave in our rooms which was very helpful… breakfast was great too…

I stayed here for 10 days for work. It was very quiet and the beds are very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. I like that there is a restaurant on premises. I didn't have to leave other than to go to the mill for work. The food was quite good.

Room was clean, staff were polite restaurant was lovely for breakfast and make sure u get your coupons for breakfast we were not told kids loved the pool can't complain other than I was on the ground floor and the people above us were noisy, great short would go back again.

Rooms were clean. Hotel is laid out a little odd and has no elevator but it's only 2 floors. Breakfast is better than most because it's made to order… which means you get real eggs. I would definitely stay there again because of the breakfast.

My room always smells clean and it's consistent with other HI' s.

The server called Della looked after us very well. The food was good. Della was very pleasant and polite.

Convenient location for hiking and to get to Jasper. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Facilities were great.

I've stopped here a few times for a quick lunch or a family dinner and every time the servers are very friendly and ensure that your meal is complete with whatever you may need. The food is always great and you get a decent amount for how much you pay.

Got a good walk up deal, bed was great especially after some backcountry hiking. Room was big and clean with great shower water pressure. Much cheaper than Jasper!

Breakfast was not free, internet was slow, bed felt like it was on stilts wobbling every time I moved, shower was weak.

Great, thoughtful staff, always a great experience for work stays.

It was such an overpriced dive. Yes my room was big but it was super outdated, tiny, dumpy bathrooms. The blankets were heavy and thin. My room was FREEZING. I feel ripped off. They were the quality of a sleezy motel for the price of royalty. I would never ever ever ever ever recommend anyone stay here. Cash grab crap hole! Customer service kid was polite though which earned the 1 star.

The food is good but the service sucks once you get your food the waitress brings you your bill at the same time you get your meal, its like they are saying hurry up and get out, because the waitress never comes back to see if you want anything or how was your meal.

Had breakfast and dinner. Was excellent food. Dinner had a senior special and breakfast also had a good daily special.

I like how each room has a bible in it.
