The hotel is aesthetically built with gardens and the large pool being the main feature and the suites surrounding it. The attention to detail is superb from the paintings and sculptures. The cleanliness and neatness are notable. The staff are absolutely fantastic! I can’t praise them enough for making us comfortable. My 3 year old had the viral when we got there and they helped us with her. Cooking anything she wanted to eat or anything they could do to assist us. The hotel location is so convenient to the main town, old market and night markets and the pub street.
The food : we had a 5 course degustation at The Circle restaurant. It was just beautiful food. Well thought and planned for our dietary requirements.
I will be looking forward to booking Belmond hotels on my travels going forward in other parts of the world.

A beautiful hotel with excellent food. The manager and head chef treated us like royalty. The staff were friendly and attentive. Such attention is paid to detail. Belmont La Residence D’Angkor
This was our home-away-from-home for our seven days in Siem Reap, and we could not have been more happy. Everything about this place was perfect: the entire staff are beyond friendly, always smiling and making sure our needs were being met; the hotel itself is gorgeous, tastefully decorated with Khmer art and clearly designed with Khmer architecture in mind; our room, a deluxe suite with a garden patio, was a welcome respite from our busy days of sightseeing; and the swimming pool is something you just have to experience to appreciate, a little slice of heaven on earth.
The location is excellent, a short walk (or tuk tuk ride) from Pub Street, the markets, the Royal Palace and National Museum, and more. And yet, despite being near the center of it all, the surrounding wall and well-placed vegetation can make you forget you’re in a bustling city and feel like you’re in your own private oasis.
Truly, if you’re ever in Siem Reap, this is where you want to stay.

Excellent! Wonderful welcome, employees in the care! A very well located haven, very spacious suite and gorgeous bathroom. In short I love it and recommend it warmly.

Great house. Few rooms, good in shot. Very friendly staff. The food doesn't excite, but ok. But it's exciting, inexpensive and good in the town.

It's all beautiful. The pool, the room, the reception. And close to Pub Street. The bike loan is a plus. And always the friendliness of the staff.

In the heart of the city, which is just great for a bike ride… or on foot…
Staff friendly, helpful as usual in this kind of place.
Swimming pool right in the middle which is not negligible with the surrounding heat.
The only downside is the $26 breakfast price for almost nothing…
Having the habit of travelling in these hotels, the buffet in the morning is unusually expensive for the country and for the few dishes that are offered there.
I prefer 100 times that of Bali which is more affordable!

Kong Kea Spa Walking into Belmond, La Residence D'Angkor is stepping into sophistication, comfort, pleasure & delight! Kong Kea Spa translates to "Water for the King/God"! Say no more, welcomed by Mr. Sokhon, we were treated as truly valued clients. Rehydrated with refreshing local Paden leaf/Lime juice in the reception area facing a fountain of water with white, pink lotus flowers. What a visual delight! Zen-like music with hand drums, bamboo flutes, cymbals, chimes flowed through during our stay. Escorted to a couples room which included a sauna, jacuzzi tub, shower, exclusive amenities. Clad in white linen tops with black 3/4 Cambodian pants for our Indochina Massage included stretching, stimulating, pressure points with thumbs, hands, arms, knees. A sensory experience for all! Kudos to Ms. Channa, Ms. Sinoun for their exceptional expertise. Lemongrass/ginger tea for the finale. Use of sauna, steam room & relaxing indoor pool with running waters. AC gym, TchnoGym quality equipment. Fruits, water available for consumption. Outdoor pool is a tropical delight to refresh the soul. Birds of paradise, surround the area. Prompt service for lunch by the pool. Bamboo Hats, fans offered on each Lounge chair by poolside. Warm, courteous greetings by all staff, this truly is the "Norm" for "Attention to Detail, exceptional customer service. " A feather in your cap Mr. Sokhon, Ms. Chum for allowing us the pleasure.

Can’t really fault anything here, room was impeccable, quiet aircon, lovely staff, good food, nice little details. Hard to leave to explore the area with the pool beckoning. Very expensive but they’re catering for that once in a lifetime trip.

Simply superb both in terms of equipment and service. A beautiful residence just a few minutes walk away from everything, an incredibly large clean pool beautiful. The rooms are spacious very comfortable, the bedding is excellent. We can only make compliments on the very thoughtful staff, always good advice. We love everything and especially the small gestures: cold towels on the return of each walk, bicycles available, glasses, fruits and massages by the pool, excellent advice for restaurants, impeccable breakfast. Bravo.

A beautiful oasis in easy walking of the town centre with tut tut's waiting outside if too hot to walk. Staff are excellent. Friendly, polite, very helpful. Food in restaurant also of very high standard if you don't want to venture out after tiring day of temple viewing. Lovely pool in area that seems about 10 cooler. Really an outstanding boutique hotel. Highly recommended.

Très chic! loved the location, the staff and the updated rooms. The spa service was great and the food pretty decent. I'd highly recommend Belmond La Residence. The Hotel coordinated with my travel agent a well rehearsed tour of the temples, taking care of the appropriate order to avoid crowds. Biggest issue was experiencing sunrise sans hoards of tourist, the hotel went beyond and scouted out different places prior to our arrival to ensure we'd be taken care of. We had the temple all to ourselves for sunrise.

Lovely Khmer style hotel with an amazing pool: perfect spot for relaxation after our daily temple tours. Great rooms, beautiful breakfast terrace and very nice & attentive staff.

Very nice hotel with huge rooms, great pool and very good restaurant. Only negative points are the very spotty internet and lots of mosquitoes going in your room at night when they conduct the evening clean up.

Beautiful hotel with phenomenally friendly staff. The hotel arranged private tours for us around the Angkor temples at a pretty reasonable price and were incredibly helpful sorting restaurant and bar bookings and recommendations around Siem Reap.

Excellent and over the top cordiality and service. The General Manager, John Dopere, went out of his way to meet and greet his guests. Enjoy the spa after a day exploring the Angkor Temple ruins.
