Surely the most beautiful beach of Cambodia mainland. Most of the area is still "virgin" as only a few hotels and hostels have settled next to the beach. Otres is the best. Let's hope it will stay like for a long time to come. During low tide you have foot quite far out in the sea, during high tide probably like 20 meters or so from shore. Therefore very suitable also for kids. My favorite hang out beach in Sihanoukville.

If I could go back right now, I would! What a gorgeous oasis! The water was crystal clear and so warm, the sand was so soft and the people here are so kind. We were on Otres 2 which does have a different vibe than Otres 1. It is cleaner and still untouched. Loved the activities that were offered along the coast. From fishing, island hopping and SUP rentals and beyond. We are considering flying there again one day to have a nice beach get away! Definitely worth a visit before it gets built up!

Very attractive beache among the other beaches at shihanuk village. How could I describe about it. I recommend you to get there for your holiday with friends and families. Otres beach very awesome ☀️

Lovely clean beach with white sand. Clean, clear sea. The beach is large, you can relax comfortably and no one disturbing. Lots of greenery, so finding stroll is not a problem.

Really beautiful beach, it's located around 15 minutes bu tuk tuk from the city center of Sihanoukville. There are some bars on the beach, really peaceful and nice. Highly suggested for a day of full relax with fiends. You can have a massage on the beach, until 9pm (prices around 20 US dollars). To reach the beach, from the city it's around 5 US dollars by taxi.

The perfect beach to have your belongings stolen! Thanks to Cambodia's social inequality, it is becoming more common for travelers here to experience theft of wallets, purses, phones, motorbikes, etc. While at the beach. What are you waiting for? Come to Otres Beach now to support the local economy/poverty/thievery!

Pretty basic beach. Nothing special about it. Fairly clean.

Best place in the whole world :) Favorite spot for true vacations. Relaxing at the beach, doing nothing. People here are so kind and beautiful.

Amazing white sand and lovely sunsets. The beach is quite clean, the locals walk through the entire beach every other day and remove all the rubbish. Quite a few people and you can always find a place to stay. Sometimes there are sellers of shrimp octopus and pedicure. Of the minuses for the weekend and holidays all the beach is a local with tents. It is a pity that all the coast bought the Chinese and soon there will not be a coastal cafes, and only one casino.

This beach is in my opinion the right solution if you do not want to go on the nearby islands (beautiful but unfortunately more expensive for housing). Sea and beach decidedly much cleaner than those of Sihanoukville.
Even the atmosphere is much more pleasant, less "dirty" and party than the city. Both at Otres 1 and 2 (which I personally prefer) there are numerous bars and restaurants on the beach for food and drinks, some of these of excellent quality (definitely try The Secret Garden). Between the two places there is also a long strip of beach (Long Beach) without facilities, perfect for those who want to stay in more tranquility. I would definitely recommend it as a base point where to stay and where to take boats for daily visits to the islands.

Otres Beach can't keep up with the beaches of Koh Rong. It's very crowded, the sand is yellowish and there are the typical souvenir sellers and massage offerings.

It's not worth it. Expensive hotels for what they offer (poor breakfasts, very fair cleaning, …)
The restaurants and bars, more of the same. No cleaning.
The pitiful Main Street. Dirt on all sides (could be asphalted).
Better to find other beaches in one of the islands (Koh Rong for example).

Comparatively expensive living, food, drink and laundry. No place that has 0, 50$ beer. Serendipity is IMHO the better option.

Clean and peaceful beach. I have went to here 2 times, Otres is clean so I saw Jellyfish in sand. Its so amazing.

I like the place are natural and nice beach.

Used to be paradise (apart from the druggie tourists) now just a huge building site. From the beach road out past the pagoda both ways, towards highway 4 and Otres 3/4, all being developed. Come back in 5 years.

Nice beach away from the crowd. You can have a good early morning jog while watching fishermen fish before sunrise. It’s clean and quiet. Good for a getaway.
