The reasturant has great Bulgarian food. I would recommend this place to everyone.

In principle, everything is not bad, but be prepared that VIP apartment 201 will be without a balcony. For whom it is important (as for me), there will be a nasty surprise. Therefore, when booking, specify that you want a balcony. Before that 2 times there were apartments with a balcony, we liked them much more.

Superb views since the hotel is high up. Rooms are clean but minimalist. The regular passing trains close by can either put one to, or prevent one going to sleep. Breakfast is rustic and fresh.

Had my wedding here and the hotel staff were excellent. Always on hand to assist with everything that contributed to a smootg evening. The food here is exceptional and in my opinion the best in the city for a fine dining experience. Mr. Ivo deserves a special mention as he had been immense in all the set up leading up to the wedding.

Went there for a wedding. Had lovely food. And great view of the castle.

Perfect hotel for short and long stay. It have everything you need. Try the pool, food and more. Thanks for stay and the personal. Be always smiled.

This hotel is very dated. The rooms are small and basic at best but they are clean and the view on the fortress is spectacular. I would not spend more than 1 night.

Nice and cozy place to stay in Veliko Tarnovo. Great view to the ruins of Tsaravets. Nice staff also.

This was a very nice place to stay in the city while we prepared for our visit to Tsaravets. The evening light show on the hill across from the outdoor dinner party was great.

Thw view and the rooms are amazing! The food is very good! On Easter there was a light show on Carevec! /it was amazing/

Above standard for Bulgaria. The breakfast is quite okay too. They are well equipped and have also additional services. Nice coffee place. We also had a spacious room.

The deluxe room is great. There is an indoor pool. City center. In 10 minutes not a quick step-the fortress Carevica.

It's not the one-time Yantra anymore. Rooms worn and not cleaned well.

Had a new years party here. It was awesome! The staff are also really nice. Stayed in a big room and was happy with the amenities. Only complaint is slow Internet.

Lousy room, dirty and bad smelling. They gave my husband and I a twin beds room for a married couple. We asked for a change and they said all their rooms are like this. One of the receptionist was being very rude. After much arguing in the end they gave us a king size bed room. I do not recommend this hotel. Not a good choose at all.

The view from our window… Looking at the forte and terrain is spectacular. The room is spacious and clean with fridge and air conditioning. Very close to restaurants, dress shops and souvenir/antique shops. Highly recommended.

Nice view of the tsarevets, excellent SPA.

A nice little hotel in the edge of town. Walking distance to the shop and resturant. Love the place, but if you have a rental car it can be very difficult to find the parking space at night. I give them — 1 star because of limited parking space.

We were very satisfied. Very friendly staff, excellent facilities. Central location with the best views from the rooms and restaurant on the river and the Castle. City and hotel are impressive and worth a visit. Only: The location on the main street is not so sparkling, slightly too loud.

Good location opposite the wall where the light show is held (I think is only in June) we were in September and there was no show. You can walk to the old town is less than 50 m.

Nice view to the ancient fortress Tsarevets.

Totally outdated. Big stinky overpriced room with awful carpet, very small beds and very small tube TV. Staff is incompetent and quire rude. Only decent thing is view. Avoid if you can.

One of the best if not the best hotel in town. Get a room with a view towards the castle, it's worth it. Good restaurant and the location also has a pool, spa and a beauty center as well as a gift shop and a cafe.
