Cleaning rooms, service personnel — all on the residual principle. But the sea is close and it pleases)

Visited the panorama cafe. The interior is a bit old-fashioned, but in a good condition. The staff was quite rude though, which made the experience poor.

Bathrooms are fool of mildew, low quality food, but close to the beach.

Food is good, but otherwise the place badly needs renovation.

The Communist-era hotel has been in complete ruins in the rooms apparently not repaired since 1980

Unimaginably grouse. I give 2 stars. 1 for the room having a bed. The other one for having hot water. Given the state of the facilities, this is actually an achievement. Not to say there were bugs under the bed cover … Everything is dirty, old and/or broken. Smells the same as it looks. Worthless to say I don't recommend it to even my enemies.

Soviet building, a visible wart several kilometers away, a block of concrete. Complex of the golden age of Communism.

If I renovated it will be better it is located in the center of Albena Resort.

+ Most rooms will get a nice view and that's about it. — The place was not renovated for nearly 40 years and it shows. No air conditioning, internet only in the lobby and of course, cockroaches. One could argue that the price is low, but there are much better places to be found for the same money.

The hotel is not renovated from the time it was built, the staff has been friendly and polite, but after all its not worth and I wouldn't recommend it.

The Dobrudja is not quite young since it is one of the first hotels in Albena. Nevertheless it keeps all its charm thanks to its special architecture and its location in the heart of the village.

This hotel is pride of Bulgaria. But Communist Bulgaria from 70's. Rooms are extremely old, dark and kinda dirty. Lot's of cockroaches everywhere, hotel says that they 're coming from Bulgarian fields and that's right but I saw one getting out from pipe in bathroom… However hotel has a nice lobby which shows us what they called luxury 30 years ago. View is also quite nice if we consider all 17 floors. For me the best thing in this complex is food. 4 star restaurant offers really tasty food, and lot's of dishes. Either way I definitely wouldn't come here again.

The hotel is right in the middle of the Albena resort area, so it's perfectly located to all the beaches, shops, clubs, etc. The rates are very cheap, but you do get what you pay for. The rooms are dark and dingy, which doesn't bother me. The beds were basic but comfortable. The biggest issue was that the room was insanely hot, and there is no air conditioning. One big window opens, but we got no breeze at all and the noise from outside was so loud I kept waking up. The best part about this hotel is the amazing breakfast buffet included with the room price! Absolutely fantastic.

Dobrudja hotel is a pleasant place. It has a good location and a Park close by.

My wife and myself spent two glorious weeks at this hotel in 1993 and found it a very clean and happy Hotel. The local people were very freindly and we even used the local bus to travel to Varna to see (what was then) the Turkish Market. We, (being English), helped an old local lady on and of the bus with her shopping. She was typical of all the people we met whilst we stayed at the hotel, Warm and freindly, as were the staff of the hotel. Some day soon I would like to go back and see what changes thay have made to the area. As when we were there a local told us that they were approx. About 5 years behind the UK but they woul catch up with us.

Was this hotel in the first half of September 2009. I shall start with the negative. 1. The rooms are without air conditioning! More precisely, almost there. If scrupulously to count the ten rooms with air conditioning and hear them visible blocks conditioners, located on the exterior walls of the building. But what makes this a dozen on the background of almost three hundred rooms in the hotel! Fairy-tales about «taps» believe it not, the construction project of the hotel is very old and «Soviet», and reconstruction in Dobrogea was not. Well, I was there in September, and not in July. In July without air conditioning to be there I can't imagine. 2. At the reception systematically RUDE and DECEIVING. 3. In the evenings impossible to sleep, because when the hotel features an outdoor restaurant with a VERY loud live music, which sounds to 23.30 (I засекал). 't help tightly closed Windows, because they are very плохенькие. Especially strongly annoys music guests a «cool» rooms with balcony and sea view. Rooms without a balcony, located in the rear of the building, without sea view — softly. 4. The rooms are VERY, VERY old and filthy. The rooms were small, especially those without balcony, such't even have built-in wardrobe in the corridor here wardrobe standing right in the room. Furniture is falling apart. Windows do not close, when heavy rain through the window, the water flows on the windowsill.
