Disappointing experience at the rooftop bar last night. After greeting the hostess in Bulgarian, we asked "Do you speak English? " The smug reply was "Of course I do, you're in a five star hotel. " If only she had offered an actual five star service instead of being rude for no reason. She said the place was full and did not allow us in despite obvious empty tables, plus we were only there to enjoy the view over one drink and wouldn't have minded just standing. Don't waste your time going.

Service good, cocktails well served. The view was very nice if you could sit in the window.

Aperitif at the top flor but nothing, cold local like the rest of the country, Panorama…

Absolutely the best service I have experienced in Bulgaria. Beautiful sunset views. Top notch drinks and excellent appetizers.

The only thing I regret regarding my stay at Sense was that I didn't stay longer. Very chic design hotel with all the amenities to match. The pool area and the roof top bar is great additions to this hotel as well. If I ever return to Sofia I will definitely stay here.

Went there for drinks with foreign friends who were visiting the city for the first time. Not a bad view of the Cathedral and the House of Parliament but service is not good and drinks are overpriced. Great spot to bring tourists, but I wouldn't be going there regularly if I were a local. It can get windy, so even on a sunny day you might opt in for an overcoat.

Make sure you get a room with a terrace… the view is amazing. Yes the shower is difficult to use and makes the whole room wet My room was incredibly loud until 3am. Very hard to sleep, even with earplugs. Room and decor and electronics are very sophisticated.

Comfortable, great staff but no snacks after 1800 : (

1st of all. I only been a few times to the rooftop bar and only giving trainings in the conference room. I did not sleep at all in this hotel. What you need to know is that the conference room they have is very modern looking. They have the possibility to have different setup's for the room. When it comes to the catering I myself am not fond of it. The sandwiches they have are really small and the options for catering they have are not for big groups in my eyes On the other hand the place is great for trainings as they have a separate balcony to get a smoke or conversation without being on the street. The room itself is very well equipped with projector and screen, Soundsystem and microphones. Good seating and they provide you paper and pen. In other words a very good place for training.

The bar on the top floor allows a spectacular view of the city. You enter from the hotel entrance and then take the elevator up to the 9th floor. The prices of drinks are much higher than the standard, similar to the Italian ones but clearly the location is the one that makes the difference.

Good location, staff was friendly and kind, rooms were clean, breakfast in average, but breakfast room very nice; prices high for Sofia and for the quality offered. Restaurant with very good service, but food on average. I recommend, but can’t give him more than three stars.

The variety of food in the breakfast buffet was very limited. Dim lighting. The internet was most of the time slow and unstable. High price compared to what you get. They also charged my card for a third guest deposit 200 euros without even asking or taking the permission to do that which is very unprofessional. I also wished that the gym was accessible 24 hours. But Overall even though, I guess this is the best hotel in sofia in terms of cleanliness and being modern. My stay was in their top one bed room suite.

Excellent hotel, well visited bar with fantastic views over Sofia. The cappuccino in the cafe is also unique.

Great place. Don't believe all the reviews about the staff, this is only my second night and the staff already recognised me and greet me. They bartender was already to get me a drink and look disappointed that I was only after a coffee. Rooms are good. Food is good. Close to the city centre. All in all a great place and I will be sending my staff here to stay over the coming months.

Rooftop bar with a beautiful view of the Church of Sofia. On the other hand nothing sensational for drinks.

Amazing and fun. For chill night with a loved one or for a party with friends. The view is amazing.

Great view top roof bar. Nice chill out atmosphere. Drinks reasonable priced for the place. A lot of tourists but also locals preparing for the night lifeService can be more adequate and to know better what they offer, but overall OKsmoking allowed and a bit cold in this season.

My rating relates to the bar on the top floor. This bar is hard to trump. Fantastic view, very good service.

Very good hotel, beautifully and modernly furnished, apart from small things everything at the highest level.

Nice atmosphere. Rooms are beautiful but have some impractical features (no hooks, few plugs, awkward light switches). Breakfast is great. Slavta who runs the breakfast area was incredibly helpful. Rooftop bar has a lovely view across Sofia.

Great location. Staff is attentive. Quick access from the airport (cost us just over 10 lv around midnight). We booked the room on the top floor with a view if the cathedral — wonderful view to wake up to. Room was well sound insulated and we had a good night sleep.

The bar on the top has an awesome view and is perfect for the summer evenings. A cosy place, a bit fancy, which affects the prices, but has a nice snacks and drinks (variety of drinks). Don't like the fact that there are promotions often, I like it when it's calm. Good place if you want to have a drinks with colleagues or a visitor. Tip: consider the dress code.

Marvellous and very modern hotel. Very polite personnel. I had the luck as well as chance and experienced a MARVELLOUS SUITE that's one of the best I've overnighted the last two years. Pros a) the above mentioned, b) modern, c) centrally located d) magnificent view from the top floors. Cons a) the bar playing music quite loud till 01.00 am b) the lack of a business lounge and c) the breakfast was quite poor.

Amazing hotel, good location. Very attentive stuff and the food is heavenly. Restaurant staff would need a little further training to call it 5 stars, they are missing some attention to details (we had to keep asking for our wine glasses to be refilled as they didn't leave the bottle by our table, the dessert menu wasn't offered, they put candles out to the table but nobody came around and lit them for about 10 minutes, etc. ) These all can be sorted with some training. But still, I would come back and stay here happily anytime. The hospitality around here and the people are amazing.

Very nice hotel, great service. The beds are very comfy and the rain shower is really relaxing.

The suite on the 8th floor is stunning, finished to a really high standard. 3 terraces with amazing views (will add pictures next) over the cathedral and parliament. Also the roof top bar is a must visit place, again amazing views across Sofia, if you're in the area visit the bar, if you're lucky enough to stay here, do it and treat yourself. Loved it!

It has restaurant and seperate bar so you can choose. We did sit in the bar. The views from the bar /restaurant are amazing. It's on the roof of the hotel and with wide view of the city.

The Sense Rooftop bar has some of the most amazing views of Sofia, both during the day and at night time. It's a bit pricy so you may have to sell your kidney on the black market to pay for a heavy night of drinking, and if you're drunk as hell you probably won't even care about the view so maybe just go there for coffee. They give you a free cookie with your coffee to soften up the micro heart attack you get with the check.

They have invested lot of money and it feels. Every small detail from the shower in the room to the bar on the top is top notch. 12m swimming pool — be careful not to swim too fast. Steam room is 40-45C at most and the benches remain cold. I probably could ask to heat it up, but did not. Kids under 14 are not allowed, but if you really want to you can try to sneak in when nobody is in there. Late checkout at 6pm. I am giving 4 stars only because the price. The price is sky high for Sofia. I do not have an iphone, poor me, and the music center was a waste in my case. Most of the TV channels translated to Bulgarian. 3 minutes walk from the subway and 15 minutes walk from Sredinka. Breakfast is ok, but not something to write home about. Considering the price for a night the breakfast was almost a disappointment. Be prepared to pay 3 euro for poach eggs.

Nice place to stay, very convenient location in the city centre right across the National Assembly. Subway station is nearby which makes the airport 20 min. Away and saves you a lot of troubles and money with poor taxi service.

Friendly stuff. Roof top bar is pretty cool. Massage are awesome.

Roof top bar is excellent. Service is good and our room (standard room) is way over expectations.
