The rooms are `quite small and there is a lot of noise from the night clubs and restaurants near by, also the workers on the reception are very slaw and we have to wait sometimes for half of hour… but otherwise the ski lines and lifts are just in front of the hotel. They just made new underground parking big enough for the visitors of the hotel. Inside the hotel is amazing! All we know its a old hotel but they restored everything (and the rooms) there is new spa center but they increased the price of it. The restaurants and the activities inside the hotel are a lot and all good.
Had a week's stay here while skiing and loved it. It's in an ideal location at the foot of the slopes. We had a room on the 8th floor overlooking the slopes and the view was great (see photo). There are 2 halves to the hotel. We were in the older half with the newer half containing the superior rooms. No complaints about our room though, it was clean and functional and was cleaned daily. Superior rooms have a kettle in them whereas the others don't. Food (breakfast and dinner) was fine, although we did eat out some nights for a change of scenery. Big bar on ground floor and a terrace bar on the second floor. Service is far better in the terrace bar and the food is lovely in there especially the potato wedges. We didn't use the spa, but those we spoke to who had said it was good. We would definitely recommend here and would stay here again. I'd like to give it 4.5 stars but can't. Not worth 5 just due to the surly attitude of some staff members especially in the main bar.

The quality of the food at breakfast/dinner is far above any other 5 star hotel I've been! Totalitarian times hotel that was recently renovated. I am quite satisfied with the result unlike most other totalitarian times hotels. The materials are good quality and the interior design is also very good. Great new SPA, the pool is amazing — you can see the ski slope right in front of you.
