Funky Monkey Hostel Hostel

Location is very good. Decor is also nice and people are friendly. But bathrooms are very basic. And bedding was old and to small to fit the bed and different for every bed.

Nice people, extremly dirty bed sheets. Not very comfy.

Excellent low cost hostel close to the old center of Plovdiv, great atmosphere and people with friendly staff and general good vibe. No elevator but it's not a that high and of to climp few stairs.

We’ve all experienced good hostels, and we’ve all experienced the awful ones. BUT this is very firmly in the realm of the best hostels! It feels really homely. Hostel Funky Monkey was outstanding.
Close enough to walk around the city and see sights without getting public transport.
Very clean and very social. The common room with the fridge with beer. Mmmmm. Lots of fun! The staff was very friendly and super helpful especially Reni, she is amazing! I really appreciate the time spended with her.
I would recommend this to any traveler. Thumbsssss up :)

A very good place for people who enjoy the free lifestyle of traveling. Very funny and funky hosts who prepare a satisfying breakfast and are always so generous and helpful with all of their guests. I highly recommend visiting this hostel. :)

Love this hostel. The last 4 times I've come to Plovdiv I stayed here and every time we had consistently a great experience. Staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and well maintained. We've always stayed in dorm rooms which are again clean and newly furnished. It's really cool they have lockers for each person in the room. The BEST thing is the many balconies around the house. They are perfect for hanging out and enjoying the sun or the moon. The biggest one on the last floor has awesome views to the "tepeta". Overall would recommend this place 10out of 10 times!

Good hostel, cheap and comfortable beds! They have AC in their rooms and upstairs they a really cool lobby for guests! Absolutely loved my stay there and I recommend others to try it out too!

I had a great stay. The staff were laid back, but really nice and helpful. The atmosphere is friendly and encourages meeting people. Great stop.

Fantastic hostel. We had a private double and the room was large with big and comfortable bed. Staff were great and very easy check in (cash only). Breakfast was varied, toast, cereal, eggs, cheese, salami, tomatoes. Would definitely recommend. They also offered great day tours for good prices which we were guttered we didn't know about before as we booked with other companies.

Fantastic place. Valen (think that's how his name is) brilliant host couldn't do enough for us. Drove us around from 10am till midnight. Loved every minute with you all.

We had a very good time staying there while in Plovdiv. One of the best hostels I've been to with very friendly staff.

Clean and light rooms, lovely little terrace area and indoor common area. The staff are very accommodating. There are numerous bathrooms so you never have to wait too long to shower in the morning.

Great hostel in Plovdiv. Nice athmosphere and rooms as well. The living room and terrace on rooftop for seeing the sunset are the nicest place on house.
