Che Lagarto Hostel Porto de Galinhas Hostel

The bed in the room shared with beds very ugly, I had back pain, breakfast is half pulling to bad, the hostel in charge wanted to charge us more expensive than it said on the page of Che Lagarto, we had to show him the cell phone to get us copper is and price.

Very nice place. I went with my 3 year old son and the truth is that we had a barbarian. Very kind the guys.

Of my experiences in Che Lagarto, this was the worst.
I stayed 5 times in Che lagarto Ipanema (Rio de Janeiro) and again in Che lagarto Morro de Sao Paulo. Both excellent!
But from Che Lagarto Porto de Galinhas, I can't say the same location: Very good breakfast: very basic place: full of cats. Everywhere.
Staff: The Brazilians super friendly the Argentinians seem to attend you were doing it favor. Very little kindness.
INTERNET: I spent four days without being able to access. The answer from the receptionist (who speaks Spanish) was that if he had iPhone was like that, to continue trying that at some point it would work. No efficient solution. Instead, Brazilian staff tried to provide us with a solution, albeit without success at the time.
The beds: The mattresses are very uncomfortable! At bedtime you could immediately feel the wood of the bed. And the rooms pretty girls.
You can not enter drinks but they have a bar that doesn't work.
I hope that in time they can improve to be at the level of what really is Che Lagarto.

I stole 400 real locker (the lock they gave me in the Hostel) and no one was in charge. Do not organize activities for interactues with others. Very little wave. Never more.

The Hostel is very nice. Very careful, they also take care that everything is in harmony (for example, even outdoors, smoking is prohibited inside the Hostel). The only bad thing is that it's full of cats. If you're allergic to cats, evitá go to this hostel.

Really small rooms, awful kitchen, cats everywhere (Attention allergics! ⚠), not intended for young nor casual travellers. As depicted in the photo below, over the wooden bed support there is a 2" thick foam "mattress". Also no blankets are given. The TV is smaller than my tablet, and the Wi-Fi connection is extremely slow (If you can connect at all). Bar closes at 10pm and you're not allowed to drink anything that's not been bought in the hostel (which is 3x more expensive). I'll only list as positive the helpfulness of Matias and Camila.

Very nice hostel, has a nice pool and the beds are quite comfortable. In the shared rooms the air works only at night of 19.30 to 9 am. The breakfast is rich but mostly it's sweet (no ham and cheese But if you ask you can bring scrambled eggs). There are many cats that live in the hostel. It doesn't bother me at all but maybe if someone is allergic or doesn't like cats it gets a bad impression. It also has many open spaces so cats do not walk in the rooms. The kitchen maybe is a bit small for the amount of people moving but we didn't have any problems and were able to cook when we wanted to.

Excellent attention, except at night, the evening is not poorly educated but it is average dry compared to the girl in the morning. The rooms are very clean, very well located near the beach and the center. It has a small but very well maintained pool. The breakfast is very nice very fresh but compared to other hotels they have little choice.

Nice place and the staff very attentive. The only thing that did not call me the attention is that they turn off the A/C very early (8am) and as there is no fan the heat feels in minutes.

Sensacional. Melhor hostel.

Dirty hostal with cats everywhere, smells like cat piss in communal areas, they steal food too. The pool engine make very loud noise day & night, kitchen is very small and is not furnished (bring your own knife). You can't take your own drinks inside the hostal and the beers sold at the entrance are 3x normal price. Expensive for poor installation. This hostal is for party people on short holidays not for travellers.

This is a nice place with a perfect localisation. We had a private room with bathroom. It was clean and cute. A little bit noisy at night but not very late. The cats was not a problem for us. Its a good place to stay in Porto de Galinhas!

All excellent, the management people, the guests, the breakfast, the pool, the bathrooms. Sometimes I did not walk Wi-Fi but the whole hostel is excellent.

Cheap and nice place to stay in Porto Galinhas … I recommend as it includes the breakfast!

It's cheap for a reason! Photos on the site looked great and with a good price so decided to book for 3 nights for my wife and 1 year old son. arrived early evening with a surprise! The room looked like solitary confinement, with almost everything broken. The pillow had dead bugs and stains, the bed had a half inch thick foam mattress with just a thin sheet to cover it. The bathroom was in disrepair and the TV was from the early 90's which looked like is hadn't been dusted in the time too. We asked for a different room in the hope they had something slightly better however they are all the same. We decided to leave the next day and ask for a part refund as we booked with a free refund policy. They refused! Theo the receptionist didn't even give me the common courtesy to look at my face when I spoke to him and dismissed any attempt to resolve the situation. just save time and stress and pay a little more. They have plenty of other hostels that are infinitely better than che lagarto.

Loved the instalations. The breakfast and the pool até really good and the workers provide a great experience.

We stayed in a dorm and it was really good, aircon worked fine and bathroom directly attached to the room. The breakfast was really tasty, staff very nice and facilities clean. Pool was great and so is the location of the hostel.

My girlfriend and I stayed in a private room. The hostel is located quite well in the center of Porto de Galinhas and the staff was very friendly and helpfull with good advise about the city and stuff to do. The room was though a little dirty and there where mold in most of the corners in the room, therefore only 3 stars.

Bem localizado, entre a praia é o centro… ótimo atendimento quartos limpos e banheiros bons. Sem erro!

Che lagartos is always a good option. In Porto de galinhas the location is amazing and the acomodations is really nice as well! Unfortunately they don't sell any kind of food here, and sometimes could be easy buy something to eat at the hostel. The experience here is really cheap and cool!

Localização boa, ambiente agradável.

Basic but comfortable. The private double room I was in was fine and I slept well, but absolutely no luxuries. Toilet was loose and room generally a little rough around the edges. Breakfast also quite basic but sufficient to start the day. Overall, you get what you pay for.

Hospedagem tranquila, ótimo atendimento. Recomendo.

Bom Hostel, ótima localização, porem podia ser um pouco mais limpo.
