Very nice place, excellent location and breakfast.
The only bad thing my younger son threw up inadvertently on the bed and I was charged for cleaning the sheets.

Most of the staff is very kind, friendly and professional, however hardly Any one speaks or understand English which is of concern considering that Lonely Planet & Rough Guides have recommended this B& B place repeatedly, year after year. Because of lack of communications one of the receptionists did not properly reserve my room and dates of stay in a computer so I was forced to terminate my visit Abruptly 2 days earlier. I learned of this around 9 pm causing me great deal of stress and inconvenience. I flew over 24 hours from Chicago to get to Fortaleza. The OVERBOOKING seem to be the name of the game which is pitty considering great location and my great experience 9 years ago. This place seem to cater now ONLY to domestic tourists. Forget friendly owners speaking English & French… Where are they? Too many guests fight for tables during the breakfast which is otherwise very good and well prepared. Rooms are very clean and well kept. Le Maison, you can do much better for our sake and your sake and sake of your loyal emplyees like hard working ladies in the kitchen, friendly and helpful receptionists like Ramon, Maicon and Anderson. Life is a journey, lets make it pleasant one. Where is a will, there is a way!

It's a comfortable, clean hotel. I will go back with pleasure.

Nice staff, good breakfast and great location.

Clean, very close to the beach, good breakfast. Easy to reach and the most wonderful thing is that a taxi picks you up at the airport for free if you stay more than 3 nights. Knowledge of some Portuguese word is required. Not all of the workers do speak english or french.
