Absolutely amazing place great service great food great people. Swimming pool with lots of activities for adults and children alike. The children “day care” camp is just amazing, kids love the activities. The food, oh my god, the food all around is simply Chef like. All fresh, great taste fruits, salads, meat, chicken. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack are served in the main restaurant. Dinner has 4 theme based restaurants to choose from with reservations. Japanese “Benny Hannah “ like, Italian, churrascaria. For non meat eaters though the fish selection is great for shellfish, however very few if any salmon, no bass, no halibut or the likes. You can choose from 2 main areas with mammoth architectural designer swimming pool side by side to the beach. The beach is nice had a few too many algae’s but all in all great service there as well. And the drinks including alcohol drinks are all included oh my… amazing.

The food of the 3 buffets horrible. They let you eat only three times in the most elaborate restaurants. The beach is not integrated into the hotel. Hotel fully prepared to receive boys and babies. Cleaning 10. Hot, ugly beer. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had 10 spectacular days. From the moment of the reception until our last day An Excellency. The exquisite food: there are for all the palates, meats, shellfish, fish, pasta, pizza. We take 2 bookings at Maresias and in the Oriental restaurant; There you go before booking. The entrance is buffet and then you ask for a la carte. You're subject to a schedule, that if you managed to disengage from watches and vibrate in holiday mode it is best to go to Pelô, which is what we did the rest of the days, because each day they make a thematic Buffet, and is varied in general everything that is served. Quality products and very good service. Rooms: Perfect the cleanliness and the attention of the maids (some smallness like not reposition of the coffee, but does not exist between so polished service). The pools as they all count: there are recreational activities in certain times and music, with Bar in the pool, quiet for the one who wants to relax, for children, and also jacuzzi. The lounge chairs are very comfortable, when you enter they give you an envelope with the key cards of the room and the towels for the pile. The beach is close by, everything in general is very handy.

Service is very slow. It's hard to have a waiter coming back with your order. The hotel is fantastic: rooms, swimming pool and gym. They also offered a kitchen full with baby food. The only reservation only restaurant that is worth a visit is Odoiá.

Excellent place to relax with the family or friends with kids. Plenty of food and beverages. It has got 4 restaurants. 3 of them are by reservation only. Odoiá (bahian food) is the reservation restaurant worth a visit. Pizza at the buffet restaurant (pelo) is gorgeous. Overall service is slow. It's substandard in the main buffet restaurant.

The place is great, a lot of fun, great food and rest for groups and family. I was only not happy with some organizational details, like, I usually couldn't be aware of time and place of some games and events, I believe they could be better announced.

The location and the staff A bit chaotic breakfast. Besides the 5 stars are deserved.

One of the best resorts I have ever been to. Service is amazing and the amount of things available to do comes related to your capacity to find them (by that I mean you will find as much as you search). The front beach is not amongst the best in Bahia. A little rough, but still quite pretty with all the sea turtles coming to feed or lay their eggs at night. Praia to Forte Villa, nearby, is a must stop. Make sure you don't miss it! The Iberostar complex has two different hotels: Bahia and Praia do Forte. This one (Praia do Forte) is the most luxurious one, with better restaurantes a little more comfort, but not much difference.

Excellent place! Not for spoiled Americans or Brits who always find reason to complain. Enjoy the place and above all being amongst Brazilians and away from typical cheap and nasty places europeans lile to go to. Disclaimer: Im Polish-American living in Switzerland :)

Drinks are good, place was clean and beautiful. Attending was OK. Food was OK but repetitive.

I was at the hotel for the last January 2016. I highlight above all the good predisposition to meet my celiac status.
The receptionist at theme restaurants Miss Gilse collaborated with me to determine foods not containing gluten, by consulting the respective chefs.
I also highlight the collaboration of chef Mr. Agustín and Manager of Mr. Ruben drinks menus gluten-free management. They also put at my disposal the public relations office to elaborate menus suitable for my condition.
I only question the attention of reception, with little bias and no Spanish language, situation that is not consistent with the Hispanic roots of the hotel.

Stay away from this place! This hotel has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I have been to more than 36 countries and I had never had a situation like the one I just had with them. I just went with a friend from Brazil to this place and they literally kicked us out because we wanted to PAY to use their spa. Actually my friend had already paid 4 times in the past to use their spa, but today they decided that was not possible. So I call the manager to complain about the situation and instead of solving the situation, he called security to kick both my friend (their former client) and me (an american tourist) out of their hotel! This is my first time in Bahia Brazil and I am so disappointed! Do yourself a favor and stay out of this place…

Excellent for families with children from 4 to 14 years.

Beautiful hotel all inclusive, no need to go out for anything more that shopping typical of the town. Super recommended.
