This place ha amazing, good people, good vibrations. Stefan, the owner, is fantastic!

The Golden Bridge Hostel in Mostar was one of the best Hostels I ever stayed, I'm not talking about the facilities, as it is standard, but the atmosphere, the host, Stephen is a remarkable person and makes everyone feel special there as he call us kings and queens. He pleases everyone, very flexible and make sure you know where to go and what to see in the area. Stephen is very knowledgeable of Mostar. The Golden Bridge is like a family as Stephen call us the family and it is a really remarkable Hostel where everyone is special. There is free laundry for all guests. We cooked together, shared food, good conversation and the feel good, feel at home after months of travelling was perfect. Mostar is not special but the Golden Bridge and Stephen make it special. Crazy Stephen will make you a "King or a Queen". After a few days there I was even sad when I left.

What a great hostel. This is a super cozy hostel where the owner treats his guests like kings and queens. Literally that’s what he calls you he has such a warmth and will to help you at ever occasion. Dorms are clean and warm, showers are super hot and just the general positivity and good vibes are this place are worth more than 5 stars. It’s only a few mins walk to the famous bridge and you can find restaurants and supermarkets close by. It’s only 3 mins to the bus and tram station by foot. This is the only place I would stay in Mostar when I come back in the future.

Great hostel run by the amazing Stefan — he is the looky looky man of Mostar — makes everyone's stay as enjoyable as can be. Highly recommend.

Awesome hostel got looked after very well after we got too drunk.

This is a basic hostel — just two dorm rooms with not a lot of space and 2 bathrooms. Owner Stefan is the main attraction with his eccentric style and warm welcome. Good location very near the bus station. Fine for a night.

Majdas hostel is a warm welcome colourful hostel (literally and metaphorically). A wonderful open and friendly atmosphere with plenty of comfortable chill out space. Super clean bathrooms and spaceoues rooms with comfortable beds. The staff are such beautiful spirits and I would highly recommend if you only do one thing in Mostar that you go on Batas day tour. There are are no words to describe how deeply it touched me with its depth and beauty of this amazing country and it's people.

This place is very strategic. Only 300 metres from the old bridge and still its quiet here. Hotel owner, Nina, is very very friendly and welcoming. She is also very accomodating. Her mom gave us a plate of cherries as a welcome gesture which is nice! She will also will guide you around. They also run a tour around few places for 30 Euros and it looks like its worth it, unfortunately I only stayed a night and has to leave for SJ the next morning and couldnt make it for the tour. Rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. Definitely will stay here again!

Best hostel I've ever been to. Majda makes you feel like part of the family, and Bata's tour is informative and shows how much he cares about Mostar and sharing it to people. Great free homemade breakfast, facilities clean, always hot showers and Wi-Fi worked well.

Of the best hostels where I was. Very clean and super friendly. The tour with bata is a little expensive but it is going to show you mostar in an amazing way. Who tells you that it is only a bridge knew nothing. Don't doubt it. Great place.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. The owners Bata and Majdas are lovely and welcoming, with some fascinating stories. Stay a few days and do the tour!

Home style hostel, went through the war of the family. To come to bus station, take the time and send us to go. Live a day, eating two for Breakfast, they do themselves, are good. Took him home for a day tour, the main attractions will go, but also on their history with more understanding. Very good.

My trip to Mostar was purely accidental as I missed a bus to Albania. Best accident ever. Read the other reviews, they rave. It's all true. I've never met hostel owners that are so eager to meet you, get to know you, and invite you into their lives. Everyone is gathered together for breakfast and they make each one individually, changing the menu daily. Great pleasure is taken in ensuring you have a great experience. When you arrive, you get to color your own nametag for your bed. They treat you as a person, not a number. If you're a solo traveler, you've hit a gold mine, I met so many friends those 2 nights, and we all still keep in touch. And Bata's day tour. It's the best I've been on. Simultaneously informative, fun, funny and deeply affecting. He tells you about his extremely personal experience with the war, taking you to the places it happened. Fun follows, in the form of waterfalls, a charming village, and a gorgeous monastery. All the while, he's cracking jokes, asking questions, and giving context. It's more of a performance than a tour, and he's at home on stage. So book your place, this is the authentic experience you've been seeking.
