This is our home away from home and we highly recommend staying here! We love our Treasure by the Sea!

Small, private, gated strip of nice rooms just yards from the water’s edge. Privately owned. Especially nice for scuba divers, with lock-in dive lockers outside.

This place is amazing, wish I could just move in. The studio is nicer than most houses. Just across the street is some awesome snorkeling, I had to actually shoo some fish away. So beautiful and Su is a fantastic host, a beautiful person as well. We would highly recommend!

Beautiful oasis, friendly and immaculate. Perfect spot to check out especially if you want to scuba and snorkel on your vacation.

This is a fantastic place to stay! This is my second time and I thoroughly recommend it. The accommodation is superb, clean, well-maintained, stylish and very comfortable. The location is so close to the sea and within walking distance to the centre. The garden is an oasis with different plants and attracts many visitors such as parrots, humming birds and lizards. The hosts are very friendly and really look after your needs and make you feel welcome. If you like a small-scale, quiet and a beautiful location then stay here. Perfect for divers with great facilities for your gear.

If you are looking to relax in Kralendijk Bonaire this little boutique hotel guesthouse is an unexpected hidden gem, if you would compare it with the divi resort it should get 10 stars, but you can't compare really. It's unpretentious, run by real people who have a passion for genuine hospitality and quality. The owners make sure you feel at home, from the free pick up to the complementary ice cold beer in the fridge to the homecooked breakfast to the 1 minute walk to the Aquarium that's called sea in other places. If you only want hamburgers and Wi-Fi go Divi. If you have seen it all, want to relax have an open mind and positive attitude go Treasure, you won't regret it. On a last note, I booked recently for the first time, didn't know what to expect other than that it was reasonable and didn't like Divi and no I am not on commission.

Just completed our third wonderful stay at Treasure By the Sea. We have had the pleasure of staying in two of the apartments, the one-bedroom and the studio. Both are very clean, beautifully decorated and well-equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchens have large, new appliances (including dishwashers) and plenty of quality dishes/cookware for preparing meals. Su and Chris have put a lot of thought into making their apartments both comfortable and attractive. Many small personal touches make you feel right at home. The property has plenty of outdoor seating and a BBQ to share. Just a few steps away from the water, so a dive is always close by. Rinse tank and spacious, secure dive lockers on the property. Fantastic location — easy to walk to a number of restaurants, yet on a quiet street. We are experienced Bonaire visitors and highly recommend Treasure By the Sea.

Treasure By The Sea is perfect for both divers AND non-divers. Inside the secure, beautifully landscaped grounds, there are lockers, rinse facilities, an outdoor shower… everything divers need after a day of diving. But, the accommodations are far nicer than any dive resort we've encountered on Bonaire. They're bright, airy, beautifully decorated, and each unit has its own personality. And, the fact that the owners live on property with you is an amazing bonus. They're so knowledgeable of dive sites, restaurants, places to go sightseeing, other activities to do on the island… it's like having your own personal concierge. (And they're fabulous cooks! ) Cannot wait to return to Treasure By the Sea Bonaire!

My wife and I just returned from a week long stay at Treasure By The Sea. It was our third trip to the island and this was the way to do it. Sue & Chris are great hosts, the apartment was clean and comfortable and the kitchen/grill areas had enough gear to easily make some great meals. It’s easy walking distance to the main drag in Kralendijk and to Dive Friends Yellow Submarine (who we used as our dive operator). We also took advantage of their rental trucks which worked out great. Thanks for a great stay Sue & Chris, we’ll be back!

We had an incredible stay in January in the one bedroom apartment. The photos do not do it justice at all, and the apartment catered to everything we could possible need. Perfect accommodation for anyone diving on the island and Chris was super helpful with everything we needed. We loved having dinner with the two doggos and can't wait to be back!

This is really late but I wanted to share our experience with Su and Chris last year. My husband wrote these comments as I found it difficult to put into words how awsome our trip was. I think he says it all (but I did have to add a few words — in parentheses). We chose Treasure by the Sea based on reviews, price and the qualities we were looking for in accommodations. Our expectations were exceeded. We appreciated that Treasure by the Sea is located within a 10 to 15 minute walk to downtown. Walking was enjoyable along the sea wall: views of boats in the harbor and various buildings along the narrow street, sunsets over the water. Well lit, safe street… Dive Friends diving shop is only a 5 minute walk – very convenient. You can even go snorkeling along the sea wall – quite a bit of life in an unexpected place — (Surprisingly, because I really found it hard to believe there was much down there to see only a few feet in! ) As noted in other reviews, the condo is well appointed and beautifully decorated (I call it a boutique! ) It was a treat to come “home” to every day. Chris & Su have excellent > taste in décor. (Did you know that Chris makes some of the furniture? Beautiful! ). (Here's the key point:) When you are in Bonaire, what’s valuable is your time. Learning about things and figuring out where things are can be time consuming and anxiety provoking. How do you know if that restaurant is really good?

I have stayed 4 times at Treasure by the Sea and each time it is better and better. The apartments are very stylish and comfortable and the owners are so knowledgeable about the dive sites and goings on of the island! When booking an apartment I was also referred to car rental and dive shop for air packages. So easy! I will stay again and hope it will be soon.

My husband and I discovered Treasure by the Sea last year when we were looking for a place to stay that was close enough to town so that we could walk if we wanted to, and also had the facilities to make handling dive gear easy. Treasure by the Sea delivered on both accounts. Their location is fantastic — just a block away from Yellow Submarine where we rent tanks (at a discount thanks to TBTS! ) and their on-premise rinse tank, outdoor shower, and dive lockers make your scuba gear handling a breeze. On top of these perks are the beautiful rooms. Wow! They are clean, breezy, bright, cheery, and filled with every appliance and gadget you need to make your stay the best on the island. After staying there last year I announced to my husband that my search for the perfect place to stay in Bonaire was over. And then there is Chris and Su, the owners of this lovely boutique hotel. They are there to make sure your stay is enjoyable and worry free. Su is so well connected across the island that she can suggest things to do and places to eat that you never knew about. And she will even offer to make your reservations! Even if you are not a diver or snorkeler, the accommodations and hosts will make your stay on Bonaire a time to remember. Great job Chris and Su. Looking forward to many return trips!

Another GREAT Stay at Treasure By The Sea Bonaire! This was my sixth consecutive stay and I was able to stay in the new luxurious studio, Kas di Alegria. My friend & I snorkeled all around the island including the remote areas that our hosts, Chris & Su, told us about. Of course, those sites are amazing, but the snorkeling is wonderful right in front of Treasure By The Sea! You can see turtles, eels, sea urchins, parrotfish, trunkfish, filefish, pufferfish, tarpons, octopus, rays, an occasional ocean trigger fish and lots of juveniles. Every time I come, I can see that the resort is even more beautiful with additional palm trees and flowers which bring many birds. We love the new outdoor shower and the find the dunk tank & dive lockers so convenient to store our wet gear. The studio is my new favorite house! Has all the modern appliances (even more so than I have at home! ) and is very comfortable to be in – love the furniture! We used the bbq at the outdoor kitchen & ate al fresco on our pub table since the weather is so nice. The hammocks out back are perfect for an afternoon nap. Chris makes a delicious passion fruit mojito! Every time I come there, I find that there are just so many things on the island that I didn’t get to do – that is why I keep coming back!

I like the boutique hotel very much. It is beautiful. The owner makes you feel welcome, and I think she is a warm happy and wonderful person. I just loooove the style and furnishings. Ever want to go to Bonaire, this is a must stay here place to be ❤
