I booked this hotel through my travel agent. Our stay is for 2 nights. Room should be deluxe but they gave us standard room. Room was too small. They don’t even gave double bedroom they gave us 2 single bed which were joint. Breakfast was okish. Don’t order lassi, they serve yogurt not lassi. Our breakfast & dinner both are included in package. First day they serve good food in dinner. Next day we ordered same dishes in dinner but quality was so bad don’t know why! But quantity is good. They don’t even have lift and our room was on 3rd floor. Room is clean, washroom is clean but small things which they need to improve. Room service is good. Hotel ambience is good.
The hotel is centrally located right besides the clock-tower and if you like such locations, you might love this hotel. The rooms are a tad small for my liking but the view outside the window where I stayed was pretty okay. Basically the market area was visible but since Bhutan is such a beautiful place, even the market-place looks terrific! Also, their food was above average. I did not expect their food to be of any good but it surely surprised me. I liked the taste. The coffee & tea were useless though; I guess you can explore the city for more local cuisine and te-coffee as well. Overall, a nice hotel to stay at with clean rooms, good service and hygenic washrooms!
