My time at the Silver Cloud Hotel was nothing short of magical. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and opened up to the most stunning Himalayan views you can imagine. The location is a dream – just a short drive from Paro Airport and perfectly placed for a trip to Tiger’s Nest.
But the real gem is Mr. Karma and his incredible team. From the moment we arrived, they treated us like family, not guests. Mr. Karma’s personal attention, heartfelt stories about Bhutan, and genuine kindness turned our vacation into something we’ll cherish forever. Every detail was taken care of before we even asked.
The restaurant served some of the best local and Indian food we had in Bhutan, always with a smile from the staff. Everything was clean, warm, and full of heart.

Exceptional Stay – Truly felt like a home away from home!
My stay at the Silver Cloud Hotel was absolutely spectacular. The property itself is beautifully maintained, offering incredibly clean, spacious rooms with breathtaking mountain views. It is perfectly situated right between the Paro Airport and the iconic Tiger's Nest.
What truly makes this hotel memorable, Owner Mr. Karma and his wonderful team completely above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcomed, anticipated, and personally cared for. His exceptional hospitality, warm conversations and politeness made our family trip unforgettable. He shared a lot of information about Bhutan which was really very interesting. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the staff was always gracious and polite. 🙏

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the room was clean and cozy. The staff were very kind and always ready to help, which made my stay even better. I truly felt comfortable here and would happily stay again.

I stayed at this hotel with my family for three days, and it was an experience I will cherish forever. I chose it based on a friend’s recommendation, and from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine care by Mr. Karma and his wonderful wife. Their hospitality went far beyond what I expected—it truly came from the heart.
The hotel itself is beautiful, cozy, well-appointed and extremely comfortable. It offers great value for money. But what made this stay unforgettable was the personal touch. Mr. Karma personally greeted us on arrival, arranged a delightful spread of local dishes during the evening, and even helped plan our entire trip using his local knowledge and contacts. Throughout our stay, he checked in to make sure we were enjoying every moment—not just at the hotel, but during our entire journey.
This wasn’t just a stay; it felt like being cared for by family. If you want a place where hospitality is genuine and every detail is handled with love, this is the hotel for you. Highly recommended from the bottom of my heart!

Very nice place to stay. Rooms are good, appropriate heating, food is excellent, chef is accomodative, hotel staff is always courteous and helpful.
Location is near to paro main town, besides the hotel is general store where you can get daily need stuff.
Overall very satisfied with stay as rooms are good, food menu and quality is excellent. You can also take share taxi from outside hotel to visit town incase you dont have your own car.

A very pleasant stay! The Wi-Fi was strong, the bed was soft and warm, the AC/heater worked well and and staff were amazing! I ate at the hotel restaurant (picture shown) and the food was good.

Staff are extremely friendly and made me feel safe and looked after as a solo traveller. My room was large and comfortable. Location is good for visiting paro, tigers nest hike and not far from the airport.

The room we got, was excellent. Sunlight and basic amenities were available. The chef was amazing, we could feel the love she was pouring into her job.
The hotel is little far from the main Paro town area. You may get taxi on sharing basis just outside the hotel if you are lucky.

We had a wonderful stay. The people were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the water hot! After long hikes and treks this is important! The dinner and breakfast service and food was also very good. You will not be disappointed.

We spent a wonderful night at The Silver Cloud. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Tshering, her husband and staff were so welcoming and genuinely friendly. Nothing was a problem for them. We loved their pumpkin soup so much, my husband asked for the recipe and before we’d finished dessert, the recipe had been handwritten and presented to us by one of the staff. Our room was huge and clean, with all facilities. It was unfortunate we could not spend more time there but we were on a tight schedule. We highly recommend the hotel and would stay again if we were to return to Bhutan.

We had the pleasure of staying here on our last two nights in Bhutan. After an exhilarating, and tiring trip this was a great place to stay. A touch of luxury with very friendly and helpful staff. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and clean. A great place to stay!

I had a short stay at this hotel — reached here in the evening and flew out of Paro early next morning. The staff were great — professional and helpful. The room was great as well. There was a heater, bathroom was excellent, there was a desk and usable Wi-Fi. The dining room was very nice and so was the food served in traditional wooden dishes.

Beautiful and clean rooms, and they are very helpful. The food is also nice. Good atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel. This is not my first time staying there.

Fantastic hotel. Spacious lovely rooms with huge beds, modern bathrooms. Run by the loveliest local people for whom nothing is too much trouble. Little bit out of town in gorgeous location, and taxis go by all the time and it's about 60 bhutan dollars to get into town. Such a great find. Definitely stay here.

Excellent stay in Bhutan — the staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Breakfast was good, they also provide breakfast to go for the early hike to tigernest (starting point is 10 min drive from hotel). What I liked at this place is that they have a restaurant, a coffee shop and a small supermarket at this place. Also traditional hot stone bath is nearby and they offer a driver. It’s a bit away from Paro downtown but an excellent place to stay in Bhutan. Would highly recommend.
