Cavendish Heights Suites

Our stay at Cavendish Heights Suites wonderfully enhanced our Bermuda experience. What a great place to come back to after a day out on the island, and to wake up in. CHS has everything that you need, and the attention to details in the suite enhances the guest experience.
First, when we arrived Owen and Charlene were there to greet us, show us around the suite, and give us an orientation of the area, transportation, nearby grocery marts, etc. Such a nice, friendly couple, who made themselves available anytime, and checked in on us. They even arranged a taxi for us to the airport (which should be done at least two days before departure).
The suite was roomy, modern, and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning keeps the entire suite very cool.
I won't repeat all of the amenities that are already published, but will highlight a few noteworthy things. There is a TV in the living room and in the bedroom, and you can connect to many streaming services and other stations. There's Wi-Fi throughout the suite. And – very important – there are many electric outlets throughout the apartment, so you don't have to go looking for strange places to charge a device.
There are ample closets with more than enough hangers. A beach bag and beach towels are provided, as well as umbrellas. Hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are in the bathroom. Paper towels and dish soap are in the kitchen, as well as reusable grocery bags.

We were very happy with our stay here. Owen and Charlene welcomed us at our arrival and were very responsive to our inquiries. Very well located close to Hamilton, 12 minute walk to the ferry. Spacious, clean, and modern one bedroom suite with a kitchen and 1.5 bath! Most importantly, the value was incredible. There is no better deal to stay in Hamilton.

My husband was there on business (for about two weeks) and I came along for leisure. We were met upon arrival by Owen who took very good care of us.
The unit was clean and lovely with enough kitchen equipment to be able to cook just like at home.
This home is a quick walk into town (downhill). I usually returned home by cab… with groceries. A bus stop is also nearby.
I would highly recommend Cavendish Heights Suites.

We had a wonderful stay at Cavendish Heights Suites! Our suite was clean, bright, and comfortable with many little extras like umbrellas and a supplied kitchen. Very comfortable nice and quiet since this is adults only it’s not noise at all but it’s little bit far from bus stop or bus terminal. Ferry terminal is about 20/25 minutes walking distance but not too bad the place is clean and has almost everything you need for the staying even sunblock but it was cloudy and rainy those days I was here, coffe sugar salt pepper and blow dryer iron mirror also first aid kid in my personal experience it was very good choice I recommend and I would like to come back! Also Wi-Fi free!

The guesthouse is very clean, equipped with everything you need in the kitchen: oven, range hood, fridge, freezer, microwave, utensils, cookware, cutlery, kettle, etc which is ideal because dining out in Bermuda is expensive so buying your groceries and preparing meals at the guesthouse is much more economical. Imagine if the groceries are so expensive; how dining out would cost! I also appreciated the fact that the guesthouse manager provides a beach bag so the guest don’t have to worry about carrying too many items.

We had an excellent experience at Cavendish Heights thanks to Owen and Charlene. A category 2 hurricane swept over Bermuda at the end of our vacation; which could of been very scary and uncomfortable, but the owners took such good care of us. They are truly full service and do everything they can to make sure you are looked after. We are planning to return!

First time staying at Cavendish Heights in Bermuda, the owners were so nice, suite was just like home, anything we needed they were there to help us. Right on bus route into Hamilton. Close to shops and ect. We will be staying there again also, we have adopted a new mom and dad, as well as bonded a new friendship with the owners.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Cavendish Suites! We stayed in two of the suites during our stay! Both were beautiful, clean, modern and stocked with everything you need. The hosts Owen and Charlene were such kind warm people. We can’t wait to be back!

Fantastic place. It has a beautiful bright interior, and the location is perfect, with a short walk into Hamilton or a 1-minute scooter ride. The owners are a lovely Bermudian couple who are on call for any needs you have. Highly recommend.

This was my first young adult, solo trip. I wanted to pick a place where I felt free, and safe.
Bermuda was the perfect choice.
The hospitality that Owen and Charlene provide, assure you that you have a home away from home.
The property is a less than 10 minute walk to downtown Hamilton, the Ferry, and the bus lines.
Rooms are fresh, modern, and clean. Lots of amazing natural light, within a wonderful ambiance.

Forget the resorts! Stay here! My wife and I stayed five days in the Carriage House suite. It is a beautifully-appointed modern apartment, having every imaginable amenity needed for a stay in Bermuda. After hectic days of exploring the island, we returned to complete comfort (not to mention cleanliness). Hamilton is an easy walk away; the location outside the capital meant quiet nights. Owen and Charlene greeted us, accommodated our need to check-in early, and saw us off. Terrific hosts.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Cavendish Suites. Owen the Landlord was so friendly and helpful. He couldn’t do enough to make our stay even more special.
Our apartment was so spacious, modern, very clean, had great facilities and was just a short walk to Hamilton. I would not hesitate to return to Cavendish Suites. We have stayed in many hotels on the island and this was by far our favourite.

We stayed in South Hampton our last trip but chose to stay outside Hamilton this time.
Owen and Charlene are wonderful hosts and help with anything needed.
We stayed eleven nights and we were about twenty minutes from Front Street with all the main restaurants, shops, grocery store and Festival Nights on Wednesday. We rented a moped like we did last time or you can rent a car or get a taxi to get around.
I definitely would recommend staying here without hesitation.

Clean, new, well-maintained condo-like accommodations in a quiet residential neighborhood 3 blocks from Hamilton. Manager Owen Martin couldn't have been more accommodating, especially when Hurricane Fiona slammed past the island during our stay and knocked out power to the area. Owen checked on us and provided us with hand-held emergency lights, along with a battery-operated fan and radio. The walk to and from some shops and restaurants in Hamilton, although less than a mile, can be a little strenuous on a hot day, but we found it easy to call or flag down a cab when we didn't feel like walking. (I believe there's also a bus stop near the hotel. ) For a serene getaway that's off the beaten path but still close to all the action, I highly recommend Cavendish Heights Suites.

Recently stayed for a week in Bermuda at the Cavendish Heights Suites. I was amazed when I got there as to the space I had in the apartment. With a large lounge area, separate kitchen, large bedroom with separate dressing area and a bathroom I wish I had at home the place was fantastic. Owen and his wife were incredibly helpful and were always on hand for advice or assistance. The location of the property is also great, just a 10 minute walk into the heart of Hamilton,. There is also a convenient bus stop at the end of their road to whisk you into Hamilton or the other way towards St Georges. I would recommend Cavendish Heights to anyone, also recommend that the don't choose a more expensive hotel where the rooms are much smaller. With loads of local places to choose for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (if you don't want to cook in the rather impressive kitchen you have) you can explore the 'real feel' of Bermuda right from your doorstep. If I travel to Bermuda, there is only one place I'll be looking to stay!

We stayed here for a week in July 2021 and enjoyed every bit of our stay at Cavendish suites.
Booked two apartments through booking. Com (family of 4 with 2 kids aged 21 & 15) and we were very impressed with how well the owners (Owen & Charlene) communicated with us even before our arrival. They gave us very useful advice about how to get food ordered considering we were arriving on a Sunday evening (when shops would have closed) and even offered to do our grocery shopping for us pre-arrival.
They were there to welcome us and put us through when we arrived and kept in touch with us throughout to ensure we were comfortable.
The apartments were very clean, spacious, modern and nicely done up — just what we needed! Air-conditioning was superb — needed that as Bermuda gets really hot in July.
They even put a beach bag in each apartment with towels in them, which is really handy for the beach, boat trips etc.
Location-wise — excellent to explore Hamilton (less then 10mins walk). There is a very good supermarket which is a 6-7 minute walk away where you can stock up on your groceries. We really loved the quiet neighbourhood.
In all, we had an amazing time. The only downside we can think of is that we only stayed for a week! We really wished we stayed longer!
