Rosedon

Despite the rain, we had a wonderful time! Our original booking was for a picnic table but they were able to seat us under the pergola. The rain came unexpectedly so the staff worked quickly to dry tables. The food was absolutely delicious! Chef Adam has made my gent a salad eater! and the added entertainment of Laree Talbot on the steel drums was fantastic. Kudos for swift action to Rachel. Save room for dessert!

The service was very disappointing. There was no mint available for a mojito, no bar person and we even found ants in the salad, which was unacceptable. The wait times were excessive; we waited a long time even just to receive water.
It appeared the staff were focused on a large function, and as a result, our table was largely ignored. Although the food itself was good, the overall experience was undermined by poor service and issues with the bill, yet we were still charged full price.
Overall, it felt chaotic and poorly managed, more like a “Fawlty Towers” experience by the pool than a well-run restaurant. Not worth it.

Historic hotel in the business district of Bermuda. Rooms are spacious. AC could be improved. Pool is small, but no kids allowed so quiet place to relax. Food is great at their restaurant!

Rosedon Hotel is a boutique-style property in Hamilton that feels more like a residential estate than a large resort, with a layout centered around landscaped gardens, low-rise buildings, and quiet outdoor spaces. The overall setting is compact and walkable, with a focus on calm atmosphere rather than scale or resort-style density.
The grounds give a strong impression of being well-kept and intentionally relaxed, with garden areas that frame the rooms and common spaces. There’s a sense of separation from the busier parts of Hamilton despite being within walking distance of downtown, which makes it feel slightly tucked away while still remaining connected to the city.
Inside the rooms and shared areas, the experience leans toward a cozy, home-like feel rather than something highly formal. The design is typically described as comfortable and inviting, with an emphasis on warmth and ease of stay rather than luxury that feels distant or overly structured. Outdoor areas like the pool and garden spaces tend to shape much of the overall impression, especially for longer stays or slower travel days.

The Rosedon was absolutely perfect and truly made my Bermuda trip unforgettable. As a solo traveler, I could not have asked for a more welcoming and peaceful place to stay. The adult-only atmosphere created a quiet, relaxing sanctuary right in the heart of Hamilton, and I always felt completely safe walking around, even late at night.
What really made the experience exceptional were the people. Ashley, the hotel manager, and Omer, the restaurant manager, went above and beyond to make my stay special. They were incredibly kind, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. Their hospitality set the tone for the entire trip and made me feel right at home.
The property itself is beautiful and thoughtfully maintained. The rooms are large, spacious, recently remodeled, and very clean. Every detail felt well cared for. I was even offered a welcome drink immediately upon arrival, which was such a lovely touch after traveling. I dined at all three restaurants on the property, and every meal exceeded expectations. Honestly, it was some of the best food I have had anywhere, even compared to dining in New York City where I live. That alone would be reason enough to stay here again.
Overall, The Rosedon is a special place that combines comfort, exceptional service, and an ideal location. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bermuda, especially solo travelers looking for a serene and upscale experience. I cannot wait to return.

To celebrate our 55th Anniversary we returned to Rosedon to celebrate and were delighted to see it’s still the same wonderful place where we honeymooned! We feel it’s a hidden gem tucked in Hamilton in a quiet area but easily accessible to town.
I can’t say enough about the service which was A+. Everyone who works at Rosedon is so accommodating, pleasant and.
Efficient. We especially enjoyed chatting each day with Joel and Kash who were extremely helpful. We had a great week and were so happy to see Rosedon had retained its unique charm!

If you are in Hamilton and looking for a killer dinner spot, you HAVE to check out Clarabell’s (right at the Rosedon Hotel). Honestly, this place is a total gem! 🤤The lowdown:The Pizza: Real wood-fired perfection. Thin crust, crispy edges, and toppings that actually taste fresh. The Truffle pizza and the classic Neapolitan are 10/10. Even if you’ve had pizza in Italy, this spot holds its own! 🇮🇹✨The Vibe: It’s like a secret garden. Super cozy, especially at night when the fairy lights are on. It’s the perfect mix of elegant and laid-back — great for a date or just hanging with friends. The Drinks: Definitely try their cocktails. The mixologists here really know what they’re doing. 🍸Clarabell’s is officially my new favorite on the island. Pro tip: It’s a boutique spot and gets busy fast, so make sure to book a table ahead of time! Who else has been here? What’s your go-to order? 👇

We were so impressed with the Rosedon. The friendliness of the staff and the ‘small family’ vibes made this boutique hotel feel a bespoke experience.
The grounds made us feel secluded from the outside world. The location in downtown Hamilton was as convenient as you could get. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shopping, transportation, etc.
Good variety of restaurants at the hotel which offers something for everyone. The food was delicious.
Would highly recommend this hotel if you visit Bermuda!

The Rosedon is an extraordinary hotel. We stayed there for four nights, over Easter weekend, and dined at Rosedon three of those nights. The food was wonderfully well prepared (and delicious), at both restaurants — fresh ingredients and artful presentations. And the Easter Brunch was incredibly rich and varied. In addition, the staff at all levels demonstrated a level of care (I’m tempted to call it shared “ownership”) that’s a rare pleasure. The fact that the weather was splendid every day only enhanced our pleasure with the visit.

This hotel has the kindest staff and top notch service. I stayed for 2 months on a work trip, and the team went above and beyond to make me feel at home. I loved my stay and can't wait to come back again in the future!

Hotel is just not great for business. Arrived on a Monday at lunch time, they don’t have a restaurant (reception pointed me to a food truck type of thing in the garden where they sell bagels and you sit outside — and it was rainy and cold). They don’t have a gym — you have to sign a waiver then they give you a fob key (and there is only one for all guests) then you go across the street to where the gym is. So if you are pressed for time, it doesn’t work. Shower was cold at night and apparently I was not the only room complaining about this. It’s a convenient location for business but just not a great experience overall.

Rosedon was a wonderful experience from our arrival through until sadly our departure. It is a lovely property within walking distance to downtown Hamilton and all it has to offer. However, the restaurants on property are so fantastic that you really don't need to dine out. All the staff were always available and eager to help make our stay special. One staff person — Joel — was particularly memorable for taking care of all our dining needs during a busy Holiday season and also providing good local intel. We would love to return one day!

Hi! I was lucky enough to win a stay at the Rosedon during New Years! We had a wonderful time and love the boutique experience! Our breakfast included was spectacular and Joel our server extraordinaire was always greeting us with a smile and helpful tips! I would definitely recommend this hotel! :-)

Rosedon Hotel offers a truly comfortable and homey experience from the moment you arrive. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and elegant without feeling stiff, making it easy to relax and feel at ease. The rooms are cozy and well maintained, giving the sense of a peaceful retreat rather than just a hotel stay.
The food is absolutely delicious and clearly prepared with care. Each meal feels thoughtfully crafted, with great flavors and quality ingredients that make dining there a real highlight. Whether enjoying breakfast or dinner, the experience feels both comforting and indulgent.
Overall, Rosedon Hotel combines charm, comfort, and exceptional food, creating a stay that feels personal and memorable. It’s the perfect place to unwind and feel right at home while enjoying top-notch hospitality.

My wife and I had a delightful stay at Rosedon Hotel in Hamilton, Bermuda during the week of Christmas 2025! We arrived late in the evening and were promptly escorted to our garden-level room, which we found welcoming and relaxing after an afternoon of travel.
The room was spotlessly clean and spacious, featuring a striking accent wall with colorful wallpaper and a painted concrete floor. The room had a contemporary vibe. The bed was low to the ground and comfortable, great for easy access, though we noticed some rooms may have higher beds according to photos. So there may be an option.
A cozy sitting area with wicker chairs and a small table was perfect for unwinding. The kitchenette came in handy with a fridge, Nespresso machine, kettle, and premium Illy pods as a thoughtful extra. Temperature control was spot-on, the big TV worked well (once we got the hang of the remote), and the bathroom was functional with a roomy walk-in shower and lots of counter space.
Daily housekeeping was meticulous and reliable. We really appreciated that as it’s not always standard these days in US hotels. We spent most of our time exploring Bermuda, but the room always felt like a peaceful oasis.
The location is good: conveniently close to Hamilton’s shops and restaurants, yet it’s a pleasant 5-10 minute walk to the main business district and Front Street area.
We loved dining at two of three hotel restaurants; Huckleberry and Bagels & Brews, both served fresh delicious meals.

We had a wonderful stay at Rosedon Hotel in Hamilton, Bermuda. Arriving late one evening, we were warmly welcomed and escorted straight to our garden-level room, which felt inviting from the moment we stepped in.
The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and full of thoughtful details—a vibrant wallpaper accent wall, painted concrete floors for a modern touch, and a cozy sitting nook with wicker chairs and a table. The bed was low and very comfortable (perfect for easy access, though some rooms have standard-height beds). The kitchenette was a nice bonus, with a fridge, Nespresso machine, kettle, and complimentary Illy coffee pods. Temperature controls kept everything perfectly comfortable, the large TV was great (even if the remote took a minute to figure out), and the bathroom stood out with its roomy walk-in shower and plenty of counter space.
Housekeeping was excellent and daily—something we truly appreciated, especially since it’s becoming less common.
We spent most days exploring Bermuda, but returning to the room always felt relaxing and refreshing.
The location is ideal: close to Hamilton’s shops and restaurants, with just a pleasant 5-10 minute walk to the main business district and Front Street.
Dining on-site was a highlight—we enjoyed outstanding meals at both Huckleberry and Bagels & Brews in their lovely settings.
Above all, the staff were outstanding: friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaging.

This hotel is truly charming. Quaint, peaceful, and simply wonderful. The front garden is beautifully maintained, and enjoying breakfast on the front porch is a delightful experience. The included breakfast is outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The bar is warm and cozy, perfect for unwinding. The staff is fabulous, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Room renovations are tastefully done, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable.
However, a few enhancements could elevate the experience from wonderful to exceptional:
1. Lighting: The bedroom area is too dim, especially near the table and chairs. Additional lighting would make the space more functional and inviting.
2. Window Treatments: The windows currently offer only blackout curtains or full exposure. Adding sheer curtain panels would allow natural light in while maintaining privacy.
3. Vanity Space: A small table and mirror in the closet area would be ideal for makeup application, especially since the lighting there is excellent and there's ample space.
4. Hooks: More hooks in the bathroom or closet area would be helpful for hanging wet items.
5. Bathroom Mat: A larger floor mat would help manage water from the otherwise wonderful shower.
5. VERY IMPORTANT: In-Room Safe: This is essential for business travelers. A secure place for laptops, passports, and valuables is a must. I would not stay again without this feature.
