Great resort! Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Service was excellent. We stayed at the oceanfront suite. The food and drink at the resort restaurant was amazing!

This is the most amazing resort with the best staff ever! Five star service with such a great price! Their staff is second to none! I’m a vegetarian and they created amazing food for me every day! The staff always knew my name and they decorated my bed for my birthday!

Great place for a relaxing getaway! The service is amazing! Everyone is friendly, happy and willing to do what´s needed to be done to keep you happy. Small, quiet resort, and grounds and rooms are clean and well-maintained. Our one-bedroom oceanfront suite was awesome. No room in this resort is more than about 20' from the beach! If you want crowds, multiple restaurant and bar options, late-night bar scene, etc. This isn't the place for you, but if you want to take it easy with great food and incredibly friendly service, you will love Laru Beya!

Thoughtful layout. Quiet. Great wait staff and incredible food. Everyone on staff knows your name from the second you step foot on the property. They know your drink within a day and are willing to take time to talk to you about the area.

Spent 7 days and it was very enjoyable. The staff was very nice and helpful, rooms were clean and everything was really nice.

My wife and I chose this resort for our honeymoon and had an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff tends to your every need. The food at the resort restaurant is impeccable! Laru Beya also does and outstanding job in maintaining their grounds, beaches and pool. It’s truly a hidden gem and I would definitely come back!

Beautiful place and amazing service! Very affordable, great food, clean, and many options of things to do. I like inclusive vacations more and my only complaint would be that everything was an additional fee for this, or that… but the prices were low and I didn’t pay for things I didn’t want. The golf carts are too slow! Go across the street and rent one.

A huge shout out to the staff & crew of Laru Beya Resort for taking extra care of us. 15 of us highly recommend this resort! You will love the service from the front desk, to the waitress/waiters/bartenders (hi Nelsie & Ann etc) and the newly hired chef (& cooks), the driver/s, tour guides (Cresando & Vincent, etc), housekeeping/groundsmen and the management of course. They listen, they care, and they mean it.

My husband and I spent 6 nights of our honeymoon at Laru Beya and could not have been happier with our stay. The location is stunning and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our time there was amazing. In particular I would like to thank Ed and Mildred who took such good care of us with booking our tours and transfers. We certainly hope to return for our anniversary xoxo.

Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. They have bikes and kayaks you can use and they even have a miniature golf area. The food is good and the rooms are wonderfully air conditioned and extremely clean. One of the best resorts/hotel's I've been to.

Laru Beya is fantastic. Food at resort restaurant is top notch, staff is friendly. Alcoholic drinks were not included but prices are more than fair and bartender pours are great. Ocean surnrise view from the room is amazing. My bride and I love it here.

Best honey moon/vacation trip to date.

This is an amazing place to go to for relaxing and enjoying the nice fresh ocean breeze. This is our 5th time here and I would recommend it very much to others.

Gorgeous room and exterior. Restaurant really good.

We have just spent Christmas week here with two adult children. Wow! We loved it here. The staff were excellent in all areas — professional, courteous, friendly, and warm. Our room (2 bedroom ocean front) was just perfect with our patio a foot or two from the beach and water. It is very clean, and comfy. The Quarterdeck Restaurant was excellent and while we had planned to try other places, we kept returning here. The menu was varied and they had a dinner special each evening as well. We tried most things as we had all three meals here several days. Yummy! We did rent a golf cart and drove to town once for dinner which was fun on Christmas Eve but the meal there was not as good as any at the resort. The infinity pool is a lovely temperature and great service to have drinks and snacks/ lunch there. We also loved swimming in the Caribbean Sea which was a very comfortable temperature. Sharon arranged snorkelling for us in Silk Cayes which was lovely and lots of fun. They took us to two areas near a tiny, pretty island on the Barrier Reef and then to another area to see sea turtles, nurse sharks, etc. She also arranged for a cave tubing and zip lining adventure that was almost a 3 hour drive away and he resort driver was wonderful. She also arranged a private sunset sail, followed by a private dinner on the beach in front of our room which was delightful and much more work for them which we really appreciated.

Absolutely incredible. Staff are warm, friendly, and attentive. Facilities are clean. Food is absolutely incredible! Rooms are lovely and beds are very comfortable. Can't wait to stay here again.

Accommodations were fantastic, staff is incredibly accommodating. If you want it they'll do everything they can to make it happen. Food was top of the line with great scenery from the restaurant from the open wall atmosphere. Good friendly service. Definitely one of the best resorts in the area.

This is the place to stay if you are going to stay at Placencia, Belize! The staff treats you like royalty, and they have the best connections for day trips such as Monkey River (ask for Jason — a local that grew up in the village of Monkey River and has the eyes of a hawk for spotting all the wildlife along the river), sport fishing and the Moorings is right across the street. The restraunt and the bar are first class along with that staff. Fantastic food prepared fresh on the property and only the very best available at the time (they will not accept inferior grade food just to have it)
