2 stars I don’t know what Mayan Falls was like 5 years ago and I can’t comment on any of the other rooms but I booked
the K’in Suite (penthouse) for 28 days From September 22 — October 21 2019. I paid a total of $2400 USD! There were so many issues during our stay. The security coded front gate did not work and from appearance hadn’t for a very long time. It was replaced today. A gated property and pool are one of my main reasons for booking here. Free Wi-Fi is offered but did not work for 4 days. There was a rainstorm that flooded the kitchen floor. The next day the TV in the master bedroom blew up. It took 3 days to rectify. Only 2 burners on the stove worked… the couch is in such horrible shape that even the throw to cover it was ineffective. I had to buy my own cleaning supplies. The washing machine broke within the first 10 days… it’s still inoperable now. Requests for a change of linens took days… the only ones finally replaced were the master bedroom sheets. I think we were offered clean towels twice during our stay. There was a leak under the bathroom sink that destroyed several of my cosmetics. My main issue is the cement railing around both our third floor and the upper deck. Traveling with a toddler is hard enough but spending every moment on the deck making sure she didn’t fall thru the inadequate railing was terrifying to say the least.

Island oasis Is the place to getaway to if u need to getaway from life for a while its like a little piece of paradise I invite u to go check it out for urself you will love it.
