Enjoyed my stay here but didn't like carrying my luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Staff were very helpful to accommodate.

Good service, clean rooms. Working AC. I would definitely go back.

Place is awesome right on the beach pool great views rooms are huge. Beds are little firm. Besides that awesome.

A very basic resort. A clean but purely functional room. It felt safe. The resort has little to offer, there’s a small office out front that has water, a bar fridge and little else. I tried asking one staff member for ice and/or a glass (none in the room) and the reaction was like I was the first guest who ever came up with either concept. They have neither. Rooms were cleaned daily. The pool is nice enough, but closes at 9 pm and is maybe 5 feet deep at the deepest.

Avoid this PLACE… we didn't stay here but heard bad things. We went on their snorkelling tour without doing any research which was a big mistake. The captain, Tony was a very unlikeable extremely negative and macho character… spent whole trip telling loud stories with common theme of dislike/disapproval of other boats with guides as "fools"that he had to sort out by beating up… he also had experiences of tourists he didn't like that he shared. The other men/guides on boat seemed nice but they were completely overshadowed by him… we enjoyed the beautiful place and what nature had to offer but there are other tours available that are ecological (lots of plastic, styrofoam and feeding wild animals on this boat) and I m guessing less stressful than this one. Also there was no interest in whether people had snorkelled before or were strong swimmers and no instructions on how to use equipment etc… overall a really bad experience which was why I decided to write this review to warn people… these days out are expensive enough and probably once off opportunity so it's a pity to have it spoiled by such an unsavoury character.

This resort is the best in Caye Caulker! Great customer service, it also has its own pool. Right in the center of the island. Perfect for a great morning view across the ocean.

The room is nice… The TV only point to one direction… Which is stationary and points to nowhere near the bed you are sleeping at. Wifi needs to be a little bit stronger.

Very friendly and helpful staff, went above and beyond duty… with a smile. Nice view, air conditioning worked great, clean and spacious room. Will DEFINITELY come back!

Nice place to stay with immediate beach access with hammocks, a pool, and their own pier to enjoy sunrises from. Front desk help high finding services on the Caye, and rooms were clean.

Very nice. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was there were roofers working overhead during my stay and the constitution noise started at 8 am.

This place is terrible. Dark, damp rooms, leakage from the bathroom upstairs, and — no joke — rats chasing eachother in the ceiling. A disgrace for such a lovely island…

We booked 3 nights at this property and only managed to get through two because of how awful it was. Lets start with the fact that the hotel is run by a Belizian criminal, that should set precedent for the rest of this review. After finding bed bugs in the room and asking to either be relocated or refunded, we were laughed at by management and were told to suck it up. Secondly, we booked a full day tour to the hol chan marine reserve, paid full price and to our surprise, only took us on the half day tour. We were supposed to visit 6 stops but were only taken to 3. When inquired upon with management, again, we were laughed at and were basically told tough luck. While we were on the tour, the boat captain attempted to sexually assault both my fiance and the other female passenger that was touring with us — unbelievable! We then arrived back at our room at 5pm only to find the hotel maid “cleaning” after we had insisted multiple times that we did not require the service. After going through our stuff, we found that $100 was missing. Again, brought this to managements attention and received the typical “theres nothing we can do about it” response. All of this in a single day was too much for us to handle, we packed our bags and left in a blink of an eye. If you are considering a stay here, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Its run by a criminal and they WILL steal your money.

In the wooden rooms the beds are somewhat uncomfortable, they should improve on that. Also on very small TV.

6days here. Hard beds like wood, shabby room at + €100 a night that overlooks a crassier… good one does not go to Caye Caulker for hotel but a good mattress after 1 day of snorkeling is the minimum. Rent somewhere else.

Spent 2 nights here. Good accommodaiton for the price, although the ground floor rooms flood when it rains, so make sure you don't put anything on the floor if it's a bad forecast.

Good location — roughly middle of island so easy to walk everywhere. A Mart next door and a coffee shop, sub stop, and small outdoor bar just a couple hundred feet from the hotel. Bungalow was enough room for 4 adults. Had a pool, but didn't use it. Right next to the beach, but that also meant by a common pedestrian walk way so at times in the evening it was loud outside. Was still able to get a good night's sleep though. Friendly staff.

It is very simple but clean and with acceptable service.

Staff were so friendly and nice. Bed was making noise with every slight move.

The resort is alright. The beds are hard and the sheets are itchy. But let's be honest, you won't be in the rooms much, go explore the island.

We loved the location and the staff were amazing. Loved the pool, but the beds were horrible, the picture on the TV was very bad, the AC was great, but the towels were very rough, need some softener badly, and a mini fridge and microwave would be great. I thought we were going to have a really nice room, but got stuck in the old building, which wasn't bad, it just needs new beds, a mini fridge and microwave.

Room 9. Nice facilities. Beachfront.

This resort was the best in the island. We were their for our anniversary and prior to coming I had arranged for a candle light dinner on the beach with the manager Traci. She and the staff made it extra special, my husband was totally surprised. We will be back. Only suggestion, softer beds please.

Absolutely fabulous place for a short stay. Need better beds, to firm for us. The staff is amazing, they go above and beyond — Traci, Chris, Randy, you guys rock. Would highly recommend…

Great location, on the shore with a pier. We were there with a tour group, and had about 8 rooms. There were some plumbing problems, which limited showers and such. Rooms in the newest section above the pool were much nicer.

Just had the opportunity to stay at LA Isla Resort. Wasn't too happy with the room we got. I think they need to demolish the older building and rebuild from scratch. For the price we paid, I was truly disappointed. The towels were worn out, the cable sucked and the beds were rickety. The upside, would be that the room had AC and a refrigerator; and the pool was nice. I have to shout out Chris at the front desk, he was really nice and attentive.

The room were spacious, clean, and air conditioned. The staff were very polite and friendly. The pool is like the cherry on top!

Great location in the centre of Front Street. Make sure to get a suite as they have been renovated and have the best views. Chris in the office was super helpful!
