If I could return to one hotel I've ever stayed in, for one last night, it'd be this one.

What a little gem this hotel is, the owner Elodie was kind and welcoming and the breakfast was amazing. If you are going to ypres don’t stay any where else other than here. We had booked hotel o leper and checked in and straight back out again then found this place. The hotel is so quirky and I loved the attention to detail.

Stunning location and a fantastic hotel. If we ever come back to Ipres, this is the place we would stay. Elodie is beyond helpful, the room and the breakfast were out of this world. Why would we want to stay anywhere else? Quirky, quaint and exceptional quality. Go and see for yourself.

Quite possibly the best hotel I have stayed in!
If staying in Ypres, I cannot recommend this stunning boutique hotel enough. The owner Elodie, is the most warm, kind and welcoming hotelier I have ever met. Quirky but beautifully stylish rooms, exquisite breakfast, really comfy beds, spotlessly clean, good location as situated on a road off Market Square.

I have travelled many places and stayed in many hotels around the world. I am also a rather fussy person with high expectations. I can honestly say with my hand on my heart that I have never ever experienced a more welcoming host than Carine. She takes the time to help you with all aspects of your stay and you feel immediately at ease and completely welcome at the hotel. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the bathroom is something special indeed. The breakfasts are delicious and cater to all tastes. I cannot commend Main Street Hotel to you highly enough. Carine is an absolutely superb host and the hotel is truly beautiful and luxurious boutique type accommodation.

Fantastic, generously sized rooms that are clean and comfortable. The owners are simply lovely and willing to help with any request that you may have. I will be back to stay with them again!

Firstly we arrived very late on the day of our arrival and we were so well looked after, maps and instructions on where to find everything. Carine thought of absolutely everything. Our rooms were fantastic and the beds so comfortable, the complimentary mini bar is a lovely gesture. The rooms were equipped with everything you need and more. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, Carine and her husband offer the very best of local cuisine and it was a great start to the day every day, we over indulged of course. The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the Flanders field museum and the main square. I cannot fault the hotel for anything at all and I cannot wait to return.

An Interesting and very friendly place to stay. Also some amusing fixtures and fittings. Thoroughly recommended.

Wonderful service. Beautiful room. Fantastic breakfasts. Would highly recommend. Easy, flat, walking distance to town centre, shops and restaurants. A great place to stay to tour both the historic town and surrounding areas.

The hosts are helpful (set up a tour, welcome drink and informative local guidance) and the rooms and public spaces are imaginative and thoughtful beyond description! This is an amazing place to stay in a wonderful town with a moving and tragic piece of world history! Keep up the great work.

What a wonderful hotel, truly a home from home. Great personal service, luxuriously appointed rooms and fantastic breakfast. Our hosts could not have been more helpful. We will definitely return.

We stayed here a few years ago, and loved it. We knew we just had to come back. The landlady Carine is extremely helpful and friendly, and will make you feel at home and welcome. We've finally come back now, and it's still just as amazing a place as it was the first time. The breakfasts and the free included minibar stocked daily with great beers, wine, etc, are particular highlights! We've now tried the "Top" and "Wild" rooms, which are both beautiful and comfortable, but also very different. We plan to come back again so we can try the rest of the rooms as well :-)

Everything about this hotel is excellent!
Rooms, service, location, the welcome, the breakfast. A great place to stay in the town centre and close to so much history. Probably the best hotel breakfast I have ever had, and I have stayed in a lot of hotels!
Would definitely stay here again.

I cannot recommend Main Street Hotel highly enough. We had a very warm welcome with the owner giving us a welcome drink and chatting to us about our visit — she even made a hotel reservation for us. The room was fabulous and imaginatively decorated and the breakfast choice was varied. A very comfortable and enjoyable visit with the personal touch.
