The dining room and garden are lovely. The breakfast was good. We slept in the new part, so we couldn't see the "lovely rooms" but they were comfortable and how hot they brought fans.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A very comfortable hotel with friendly staff and good food. On the WW1 Ypres battlefields route and with trenches, bunkers and a crater in the grounds. A very good site to explore the area.

We've been here years ago and had a room in the old part. Now we've got a room in the new part. Still a nice hotel with friendly people running it.

One of the best places we have had the pleasure of staying in. Close to many of the battle front sites. Lovely people great service.

We were in the new building in the suite upstairs and it was new spacious and very comfortable. Great breakfast.

This old mansion built in 1925, after the war, and transformed into a hotel in the years 90, kept all its charm of the time. Its very relative comfort is quickly swept by its spacious rooms in a 1930 decor. For the demanding of comfort, a new building annex has been added with modern rooms.
A place that has a real soul in a region that has a very hard but very rich history.
The restaurant and Breakfast also delighted us!
Do not forget to open the small cupboard on the landing of the staircase. It's vintage!

I slept at 't Hooghe one night to see Ieper and because we wanted to go to Normandy, it would be a nice place to stop travelling and stay overnight. When we arrived the first impression was not so nice but the hotel was absolutely amazing. It's a small hotel but really cozy and the people who work there are really helpful. The surrounding grounds are filled with reminders of world war 1. Very impressive hotel, would go again.

Great little hotel. Nice modern rooms with Wi-Fi. The breakfast is european and comes with the room. Dinner was excellent, small menu, with many Belgian Beers available. The hotel sits directly on the trenches of the Great War, which you can walk through. Just down the road from the Hooge Crater Museum, Hill 60 Museum, Hill 62 and several cemetaries.

We stayed for 3 nights and found the room clean and tidy and certainly large enough The menu is a little limited but superbly cooked, all the staff are friendly and helpful and all speak excellent English, it was very relaxing to sit outside in the evening with a trappist beer in your hand Highly recommended.

Great little hotel has character. It is also on a battlefield site from world war 1, the Hooge Crater. Good place to stay if you are exploring the battlefields. Wifi was included in my booking and worked well.
