De Draecke Hostel Hotel

The location is fantastic, minutes' walk from the centre of things, and nice places to eat and drink. In addition, it's on a quiet, canalside square. The staff were friendly and the ensue bathrooms clean and modern. Bunks a little creaky, but sturdy and comfortable. Security was also good, with in room lockers.

Very nice room with decent amount of natural lighting and ventilation. Perfect bathroom, have our own personal light and plug next to our bed. The bed is a bit squeaky and shaky, but the mattress is fine. Breakfast included!

It was the best youth hotel, I've seen. The personal was so nice. The whole hotel was clean and nice.

Very close to the center, the castle is so beautiful, in short, a nice little day.

Youth hostel modern and clean. Building very nice, even if there is a smell of a locker room ski in the hallways! The rooms are well soundproofed. The breakfast is a buffet well stocked. I recommend.

Nice, luxury hostel. Direct in the center of the city. Friendly staff and they have all you need. There is no traffic around, so it is quiet. The bathroom is quiet new. So perfect and I would stay there again.

So central for old town and the main sights. Great welcome. Superb value for money. Parking on street within 50 metres. Good simple breakfast. Great bar and helpful staff. Discounts on castle tickets.

Very nice hotel! The rooms are pretty small but they are ok. The don't offer by default towels so you'll need to ask at the reception, 1, 5 euros one big and one small towel.

It is a good, quiet and clean hostel. The only thing which was not expected and came as a bad suprise was the lack of hand soap in the ensuite toilets!

The hostel is quite new, although for the price you pay is too expensive according to what it offers. The private room was tiny and with 0 amenities. The mattress and pillow seemed to hospital and had plastic covers, which made it very uncomfortable to rest well. Nothing of extra services as towels, TV, gels… nothing. The heating is handled at your whim, and only in the hours that you want. It seems that for a good morning off and spend really cold, and you only need a thin blanket to cover yourself. If you touch the floors above and you're loaded you have to climb the 3 floors to slopes. Really you charge to price of hotel and no longer a hostel. Very expensive for what it offers. The location is not bad although this is somewhat hidden.

Very nice hostel… compared with an hotel in my opinion it's much cleaner and friendly. If u search a place to stay in Gent I definitely recommend this hostel. They serve breakfast and if u want to check out early in the morning u can talk at the reception and they can give u breakfast to go. Anyway it was a pleasant stay and if I'm going back to Gent sometime I will stay here again.

I was that“hungry Monge circle”of the person of the wife, we do want to alert the curtains. Cyts province Breakfast Cutlery to the day not saying much, the flatmate of three people Breakfast is the real deal the province. Five-star praise.

Hostel is very new, but watch the morning set Alarm Clock, because the curtains are very thick, the outside and then bright also there is the middle of the night. My wife and nine-point half-up hurry down to eat Breakfast, flatmate late two minutes, didn't eat, the estimated direct hungry Montana. Will never forget their eyes, the five-star praise.
