DO NOT STAY IN CARAVAN 12 — BED BUGS! Stayed here a week, site and staff lovely. On last day when changing bed noticed bed covered in bugs. Took various photos. Complained to manager who was very rude, told me it was my own fault for not noticing them when I made bed on arrival. Such a shame to leave on a bad note, rest of holiday had been good. Site facilities are limited. Now on day 6 following return from this site. Still dealing with awful bed bug bites, really very stressful for us, still no refund!

We stayed in a tent for two nights at Klein Strand. While the campsite probably is quite nice for children with lots of things for them to do, the place gives the impression of only being in it for the money. To shower or do the dishes you pay for every second of warm water. In the showers you can't even adjust the temperature and they are not being cleaned often enough. While showering I was standing in dirty water as it didn't run down the drain properly. We didn't have our own adapter to use the electricity on our tent pitch and so we rented one from the campsite. They however told us renting and buying was the same price (25 euro), although when renting you get the 21 euro deposit back. Do NOT buy food at the small kiosk on the camp site. As we arrived on a Sunday, no grocery shops were open and we wanted to barbecue. Went to the kiosk and the person working there barely understood English. When he understood we wanted meat for barbecuing he went to the back room and got an open bag of burger patties and took one out without gloves or anything! We immediately said we didn't want any and "ran" out of the place. Ended up eating out.

De locatie is prachtig om even in de zon te baden. De vele bezoekers tijdens de zomer zorgen voor de nodige ambiance.

Very good site. Good facilities spacious pitches. Great for ferry abd visiting Brugges.

Just had a week here, really enjoyed it. Chinese on site is very nice, bars are very good if a little relaxed. Facilities and staff were good, the lake and slides are fun. Local town has a couple of good bars and 2 supermarkets. We will visit again.

Leuke camping net aan de afrit met mooi meer en lekker Chinees restaurant. Wij zijn met een tent gegaan en 2 kids (6 en 8) die hun goed geamuseerd hebben. Sanitair heel proper. Tip voor de comfort kampeerplaatsen: zet u niet naast nr 67 want die mensen maken ook na 22u nog lawaai.

Very nice campsite, with many facilities, water and beach.

Great for the kids, my three year old loved the small pool, accommodation was neat and had pretty much all we needed.

Nice carvan with all facilities. Kids enjoyed it. Be careful during winters when temperature drops sub zero as water lines coming in carvans freezes.

It wasn't clean little and it was freezing.

Even in winter the caravan was wonderful and warm. Good food and lovely area to see there.

Very quiet campsite a few kilometers from Brugges and Oostende.

C a campsite to avoid during the winter the cottages are very badly insulated we could not sleep because of the winds as well as the access is not very obvious otherwise the rooms are correct.

Loved it good base for christmas markets great local pub on entrance to site.

Great caravan warm and comfy. Food good, but language was an issues. (ours not there's? ) staff were helpful, but towels are not included either need to pay 5e or bring your own.

Fairly cheap and clean. Plenty of things for the kids to do. Nothing to get excited about but nice if you want to be in this area.

It is convenient for Bright but quite expensive and you have to pay extra for showers.

Beautiful weekend of August 15, 2016

Site itself is grand. Toilets are quite dirty, we had debated if they were the worst toilets we'd came across on the continent, open to debate, we've a few contenders. The other issue is, right beside us, there was a group of a dozen or so teenagers, smoking dope and drinking very heavily (they brought their drink in a shopping trolley, that's the level were talking about) and burning wooden blocks on their fire. No one came near to see where the smoke was coming from, or going to … right around us… or who was drinking the dozen or so crates of beer carried from the site shop.

What a place we will never stay here again, the road noise from the motor way is non stop 24 hours a day, the system for the showers are via a pre paid tag and deposit for the tag is 25 euros then you add more euros to pay for the time spent under the dribble they call a shower also if there is three or four persons in you party you will need more than one tag if you want to take a shower at the same time, the tag also is used for the barrier so if someone pops to the shops then no shower until they return. On the plus side its easy to find as you can see it from the motor way as you dive within meters of the camp. All in all give it a miss we will Paul H.

We were looking for a campsite near Bruges and he there had not free more meadows. Not suitable for the passage and quite expensive. Does not compare with a yellow village either.
