No frills but not bad value for money. In great location near beach, car parks and shops. Would use again.

Room not clean at all, we found messages from former guests in the closets and the fridge so threesome not done we reserve a room for a couple and a 2 year old we have a double bed and a tiny hard Chair and stained for our daughter clogged sychon hair goes up the only thing good for this hotel is its location.

Dirty room stains and cigarette burn on the carpet, toilet dirty also moisture stain on the ceiling in the shower we ask for a double bed we had two mattresses glue no parking yellow mattress and try to our arrive we had a fee In addition not mentioning at the time of booking for the price pay it is really insulting to receive people in places as disgusting.

Very, very disappointing. The standard of accommodation is poor. We had a twin room and our single beds were really narrow and uncomfortable. The decor was very tired and cleaning wasn't to the best standard. No parking available at the hotel so we had to pay an extra 20 Euros per night to park 300 metres away. Also be careful when booking over the internet. There were additional charges which we hadn't noticed. So, what we thought was very good value accommodation was actually quite expensive, especially when factoring in the additional parking charges. We'll not be returning anytime soon.

Centrally located, Beds a little too soft for my Taste. Room OK, Bathroom adequate. A new Shower Head would have been something.

If I could I would give it no stars. Reception was bad, rooms where crammed, we only ate once disliked it so much we just went to the restaurant across the street.

€25 tax was not planned in the budget and no mark on the site, cold limited villain a location! Not respectful! Never come here you lose your money and your time!

This hotel and its reception spoiled our holidays the last August in the Belgium Coast. I had booked a double room for a weekend, when we arrived there the recepcionist told us that we had to wait for two or three hours to can access to our room (reception treated us really badly), so we left our suticases there and we waited until 16.00h. After three hours they told us that it was impossible to access our room because they had overbooking and literally they threw us out of the hotel. It was peak season so was impossible to find any other place to book a room. We had to come back to our home, of course, they returned me the money, but I lost another books which had done (Krustram, trains, etc). I spoke that day with another people in the same situation than me, so this hotel does these type of things with their clients often. If you don´t want to spoil your holidays, don´t book in this hotel or in Argo hotel, both are the same owner.

Good enough. Perhaps the prices could be a little better though.

Owner is very rasict. If your a rasict be sure to go there.

Impossible to reach the hotel e-mail in Dutch!

I was there in July 2015 at the Alpha Hotel and was VERY dissatisfied! Towels gave it only on request. — The hotel reception was rarely occupied, you had no contact -The beds were very uncomfortable and have gequietscht View had one on the emergency stairs -The pictures from the Internet seem to be VERY WELL edited. Hotel room matches everything other than the pictures At this price, never again!

Hotel zero zero, bad service, bad reception, tiny elevator and room much smaller than the pictures!
Scammer and liar in addition to the rest to have a late arrival 2 months after and additional fees at arrival, argued not to count it because we warned.
And the worst thing is to charge a fee for a 5 month old baby while there is absolutely no service for him in addition to the 10 euros per night! Filing a complaint against this hotel to have to keep banking footprint after 2 months!
Really shameful!
On a base price of 98 euros, I would pay for 2 persons and a baby 190 euros!

Reception and welcome:
-Desert (hard to find in the morning in the evening)
-unpleasant (not smiling, gets angry when the customer objected calmly)
-bad faith (when referring to the ratio quality / price and the State of affairs, the front desk says that's the high-season rate? )
* fees: €25 extra claimed on arrival, not shown when booking on the hotel website (explanation provided by the receptionist: "these expenses are claimed for any arrival after 18: 00 because it takes stay on purpose at the reception to welcome customers and some customers won't come"? )
* corridors and stairs:
-walls, windows, floors, and ceilings stained, cracked, dilapidated
-ceilings dirty and displaced slabs
-dilapidated elevator whose safety standards seem doubtful
-some parts are in the works: a disastrous site!
* Room:
-bed for 2 people: 2 x 2 old Spring mattress bunk: stained, worn, uncomfortable, no cloth cover
-stained and cracked walls.

Alpha Hotel is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. It had all to do with the receptionist (owner? ). Firstly it took so long to get a reservation because no one would reply to the the reservation email, and no one would pick up the phone. When we did finally get in touch by phone she was sooooo rude! I guess since we payed through groupon we had already payed so she had no problem taking our money and not serving us. When we checked in, there was as expected no greeting, just treating as if we were the biggest nuisance of her day. The bed was horrible. I woke up with a sore back. The 'double bed', was no double bed but two single mattress one hard and one completely soft you would sink into the mattress. We had payed for late check-in at 3pm. When we checked-in we were then told we had to check out at 12. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! I do not think anyone should be treating any other person poorly and on top of that taking their money.

Not good bed, in renovation, staff very slow and indifferent no thank you or hello or good-bye bad maintained hygiene: — (lunch-, medium located Street with cafés bcp noise impossible to sleep before 4 in the morning and heating off despite windows kapoot too bad but good wkend anyway…)

A Hotel not worthy of 3 stars, not even 2. Stayed here for a night. Not at all recommended. The carpets are dirty especially in the stairs, too small rooms, beds with mattresses not comfortable, the bathroom full of moissure behind the curtains, the unwashed windows, the paper painted tomb of mures, the welcome at reception was not nice and dishonest prices, tourism tax request by the Hotel Alpha does not match the tax of the Office of tourism of Ostend (to check with the tourism office office. ).
