Linens appeared dirty and previously slept in and the room smelled of cigarette smoke. Staff were pleasant enough, food was average; overall, would not recommend.

It's a nice looking hotel but the execution is off. The room is spacious and the bed is comfy but the bathroom is elevated one step so you have to step up. It looks nice but it's a nightmare if you need to use the facilities in the middle of the night. It's a good hotel if you need something centrally located — — it's across from the train and near the main shopping/eating area.

Positive points: design and equipment. Things to improve: the reception does not speak French… the breakfast service sends you back to the reception looking for a ticket to eat… no effort to explain when I arrived. Price too expensive considering the service!

Modern hotel very nice large and well appointed. I loved the bathtub next to the bed. Small negative €19 for a breakfast I find it a bit expensive if not as positive. The restaurant is very very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The European vibe abounds at Carbon! Lovely atmosphere and DIRECTLY across from the train station! Travelers please note… The entrance is located to the right of the restaurant and appears to go to the bar area, but this IS the entrance! Reception is located one floor up ; D.

The hotel is nice. The room is wonderful. However, for foreigners, be aware that the restaurant is closed after 10 PM and they sell absolutely no food, not even snacks. The receptionist simply told us to go outside (in the middle of the night) to find food or look for it using our phones! He was very reluctant to help. The fridge is empty aside from two water bottles. There is coffes, creamers, and sugar but there is no heater to heat the water. I had to use the water from the wash basin to have hot water.

A very nice hotel, good food, and a bath in the bedroom is definitely something different :)

Relaxing and nice atmosphere, walking distance to small city, and short driving distance to other sights.
