Nice place. Would have given a 5 star if had air con in my room and a resturant for evening meals.

Perfect, friendly staff and personal aproach. Sletp grear.

Historical correctional building that has been refurbished into a hotel situated on large grounds that is walking distance from the canal. Large clean airconditioned rooms with bathrooms. Each room has a theme to it explaining what the inmates manufactured there. Breakfast is excellent. Has respectful quite bar. Does not serve lunch or supper but there is a restaurant within walking distance. Can also order take aways. The Brabander Restaurant is tops, drive there but is also walkable.

Good hotel built in an old prison.
The interior still has some of its essence… But it is very well reformed.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room is spacious and well decorated.
It is only 10 min from the airport and 15min from the centre… by car.

The room is bit dark in the evening. There are not enough lamps. It looks a brand new hotel so it is clean and nice. Everything functions well. It is confortable.

Great hotel option in the north Brussels area. Historic building, reworked beautifully into a modern hotel. Simple but good buffet breakfast, small bar for evenings. Rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. I enjoyed this hotel greatly.

A hotel with a interesting history, set in beautiful surroundings. Rooms are spacious and light with very comfortable beds, tv, mini bar / fridge and kettle (on request from bar area). Staff were polite and friendly and speak many languages so we had no problem. Just behind the hotel is a lovely restaurant called Canal, which over looks the canal and surrounding area.

Prima zakelijk hotel. Goed bereikbaar en ruim voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Voorzieningen en kamers zijn prima.

"What a Neat Hotel", just a wonderful experience! First, Google Maps is not correct, Google has the location on the wrong side of the main road. Find the fire station and the hotel is directly behind it. Very quiet area, easy walk to/from the train station (10 minutes) and very safe. The staff was great, always — did I say always eager to help with directions or suggestions? AM breakfast is beyond adequate and with the most wonderful croissants. The rooms were large by European standards and clean. There is a restaurant on the canal just behind the hotel "Canal" with good food and some really good Belgium beers. Ask about the Italian Restaurant about 10 blocks away, amazing. This is not Pizza Hut or The Itanian Garden type of food, this is the real deal. Getting to Brussels is only a few train stops, the airport one more with a short transfer. You can get to Antwerp from the same station for just a few dollars and an easy ride. What a jem I stumbled upon and a great value compared to midtown Brussels. You will not be disappointed!

What we really enchanted is the wellness space private 1 hour (too short). Too bad that no restoration. The breakfast is rich and varied, but attention to the small quality of smoked salmon really too fat and coffee, too light and without great flavor. The room is quite spacious but we did not understand much space between bed and television. The big downside in room under the roof are the crackling of wood, incessant, sometimes overnight. We got seems to have permanently 15 people who walked in our room. Incomplete room cleaning, e. G. Removing dirty wine glasses but does not replace, Ditto for empty tissue box, never replaces or product of shower used but not replaced either. We go back again to rent private wellness space.

Excellent hotel. Too bad for some neglected details. And no restaurant atenant hotel. Very beautiful and very quiet. Great price/quality.
