It is a functional business hotel with a good bar and restaurant. There is not much noise from the airport that penetrates the rooms. They also offer a park and fly option. I'd recommend staying here if you do not need to be in the city centre of Brussels.

Food awful. Service in restaurant worse. The positive was the service at reception.

Unpleasant staff on arrival a computer to check you no explanation the parking costs 17th per day and of course no possibility to park around. A 4 star with no staff presence any welcome I will say even disrespectful limit the few times you dare to ask for information.
As for the room for two people a single bathrobe the iron that takes you all your stay if you wish that your shirt is no longer crumpled.
The bedding is on the other hand very comfortable and the room rather spacious.
So a recommendation run away.

This is my third stay at this hotel, and each stay here has been 13 nights. I deleted the original review that I wrote after my second stay so I could write a new review. This is a nice hotel and good clean rooms and a friendly staff. If TV is your thing, they have available many channels in most languages popular to the EU region. My problem with this hotel is they seems ill-equipped to handle the REAL busy days/nights. One night I went to the restaurant to get dinner and after two hours I still did not have my dinner. On this night they had six busloads of guests and the bar and restaurant were overwhelmed with people. That night even after placing my order early, I never received my dinner and I received very poor service. I had another night like this where I received very poor service at the restaurant as they were very busy again and I could not place an order for dinner. I went back to my room and tried to order room service. When I called the number to order, I had to leave a message and never received a call back. This after trying three times and leaving a message. I rarely write reviews and even more I dislike writing negative reviews. I felt that I had to share my dissatisfaction on this trip. I do not have transportation to go else ware and after a long busy day of work I do not wish to call a cab. I stay here because they have a restaurant and nice amenities and it is close to my office. However, this might be the last time I stay here.

Design both for leisure and work on a business trip. Pool Jacuzzi and Hammam. The Sauna unfortunately barely breathes. The Room with the gym is packed to the same) breakfast is no frills, but tasty and satisfying. There are recreation areas such as billiards, tennis and even sand for volleyball. Given the proximity to the train station, the airport is a firm five.

Modern contemporary feel, both in the lobby and rooms. Unusual layout with bed in centre of room. Light and airy. Bathroom clean and functional but at odds with bedroom design. Showing its age but it's got what you need in a bathroom. For the rest it is Holiday Inn formula and you get what you expect. Good quality, efficient, polite service. Staff were particularly helpful and friendly. Help is on hand for the self check in terminals, which is handy, given there is no check in counter. Allow time to work through it at check out.

Friendly and helpful staff. The automated check in was a bit weird but somewhat ironically well supported by holiday inn associates. The room was spotless and contained exactly what I needed, in a simple, functional, but classy manner. The only thing that surprised me was the bathtub was very narrow, having to stand sideways to shower.

This place was impressive. Amazing lobby, beautiful all arpund. Rooms were nice, clean and had a great layout. Breakfast was really good with multiple options for anyone with any taste. Everything was easily accessible and staff was very courteous. Couldn't recommend more.

Nice hotel with a feeling of home. Nice entrance and a lobby with a mixture between a cafe and lounge. Large rooms with air conditioning. Relax and a small gym. Good resteraunt that also serves breakfast.

Comfortable clean available very professional like any chain.

Went to the restaurant. The 30 euro t-bone steak was horrible. Ordered med rare. Half the steak was well done. Due to poor meat it was difficult to cut. Ended up not finishing. Did not complain because server was nice and very overworked.

Small plus gym, Jaguzzi, hammam, sauna, swimming pool, billiards, and baby foot. We took advantage of all these services.

Galley to arrive, worse to get back to Brussels by public transport.

The hotel itself would not be bad but it's pretty much in nowhere and even though it's called the Holiday Inn Airport, to get there you always need to take a taxi and spend 20 euros.

Nice room on the 4th floor. Very useful spa. Will check restaurant too. I already like that it is open quite late, as well as the spa area. 10PM+ is unusual as I saw in other hotels.

We had to stay at the Holiday Inn after our flight got canceled. This was promising to be a very unpleasant and chaotic experience, however the hotel was like a little piece of bliss amidst it all and the staff have managed the situation very well. Friendly and quick check-in (despite the very large number of people), very comfortable and bright rooms, good food and a very warm atmosphere altogether. It has definitely helped make our delayed return home, much easier to handle.

Very good hotel with spacious rooms, nice staff and listening! Hamman to the top, faulty sauna but pool and Jacuzzi at the top as much as they close late, 11:30 pm and open at 5:30! A first for me!
Small flat, hence my notation, the proximity to the airport but good when you sleep you hear nothing.

Amazing hotel. Lovely facility with free shuttle bus and massive rooms. Nice toiletries, lounge chairs, comfortable beds and large desk and TV in all rooms. Lovely design and style in both entrance, hallways and rooms. Priority check in for ihg gold members is lovely and something quite rare in holiday inn hotels in Europe.

Food did not correspond to the pricing, overpriced and only on show. Meat dry and Totgekocht. What a pity.

Completely recommended: very closed to airport, very good communication with airport by shuttle. A bit far from train station, is better to get to city center from airport. Good quality hotel and good price. Check-in and out can be done by yourself in computers set at the reception. Good food.

I lost my ticket from the park. They quickly give another. It was fun. Thank you, Holiday Inn.

Rather not bad but I was only there for a corporate event.

The experience is largely positive. The hotel has come out slightly in the years, but shines in all the more! You can use sauna, Jakusi and other spa facilities in some free of charge. The kitchen is excellent, the rooms clean and functionally furnished. Those who have problems with self checking must be patient at the front desk. Yes, I would ever come back…

Very good hotel British chain Holidai Inn.

The rooms were spacious. The ambience was good. Have to deal with no front desk personnel. Every transaction including room and parking is processed through a kiosk. The hotel restaurant serving time and quality of food are not what you might expect.

On arrival I wasn't impressed at all but I have to say, the overall experience was good. The check in and check out is all self-service and simple as can be. The food was excellent. The rooms were clean, neat and tidy. If you can overlook the "parking garage-esque" main hallway from the reception to the guest rooms, you'll find the hotel is actually quite a nice place.

The only problem is the location. Far away and not very well connected, although there is a shuttle from the airport about every 30 minutes.
The rest is perfect. Recently built, gym, pool, Jacuzzi, quite complete. Very good decoration, spacious rooms. Perfect for business trips. The food is also better.

The only drawback is the expensive parking for no reason. We had a very good breakfast. In my opinion better increase the price of the room than to charge the parking. Honestly bothered me.

Restaurant was very expressive. Room stank of cigarette smoke, had to open window and turn on air conditioning to get rid of the smell. However staff are friendly and helpful and the place has a good atmosphere.

Very nice renovated hotel. Conveniently located next to Zavantem and close to the E40 which takes you to Brussel centre. Great breakfast and especially a large pool accessible late at night (but shallow). Spacious room and many French TV channels settled (rare in Flanders as Diegem is in Flemish zone).

What a beautiful, modern hotel! Still had the quaint feeling in the hallways, but the rooms were beautiful! Strange check in/out service though. The girls need better uniforms than flannel pad shirts and blue jeans!

All in all I like the hotel. The entrance and the Restaurant are nice. The employees are really nice, friendly and focused on guest needs. My room is clean and fresh renovated but nothing Special. You can't sleep with windows open because of the noise from coming and going airplanes.

It was a convenient place to overnight but is starting to look its age. The room was of a satisfactory standard, but corridor carpets on my floor were well past their sell by date. With over 300 rooms it is a very busy International Hotel.

Very good hotel. A swimming pool, gym, steam room, jacuzzi, billiards, lounge nice. Room normal, and no more. Paid Parking in a quiet area this one… they would include it in the price pck up the car or taxi will be the only means of access.

Smart modern hotel. Clean well furnished rooms air-conditioning, Internet TV, safe, coffee machine. Restaurant good choice if slightly expensive but the food was good, service a bit patchy. Included breakfast buffet was excellent. There was some one in attendance at the automated checking in/out points to assist. Free pool table.

Clean hotel with pool (a little outdated, but still great for lap swimming) and wellness centre. Executive rooms are very well organized and have all amenities expected (and a Nespresso machine! ). The restaurant/breakfast/bar used to be poor but the renovation has fixed the issue and gotten the hotel its 4th star. Only 4 stars because of the kiosk check-in/check-out that is impersonal and generally creates issues. It is meant to speed up the process, especially when airlines crews come in group for check-in/out but more employees would do the job, and it would be a better experience for guests!

Comfortable, clean room with good business facilities. Surprisingly good restaurant food, nice bar, and a decent sized gym amd swimming pool. Nothing to complain about really!

Very nice Hotel. The rooms are rather nice. The lobby is modern. We regret the carpet in a very bad condition in the hallway that betrays the holding of very watery parties. The restaurant is not bad but the service was laborious.

Very nice hotel, comfortable bed, good restaurant and the free buffet breakfast was very nice. A great place to stay before flying out in the morning. My only complaint isn't their fault, and that is the shuttle that was supposed to come never did. Its a city shuttle and not just for the hotel, so the bus has many stops. I ended up taking a taxi which was not cheap for how close the airport is, came to around 17 euros.

Room was very nice But had to ask for a second bathrobe as there was only one for two. But ask who? Wait. Someone come because if not to arrive and start it will manage you with the home PCs. The parking is expensive and paying. The little staff present remains kind and smiling (except at night or he is forced to wake up). Fitness level Nickel. Level space well being. … do not go there for that, lack of maintenance sauna breakdown pool room and I do not tell the rust present everywhere. Breakfast various and varied nothing to say.
To conclude: For a 4 stars it's not worth it. It's not because there are more than it things are good.

The hotel is best for its interior design concept especially at the lobby area and ground floor/restaurant. Very spacious room. Excellent food.

The hotel is OK, but the restaurant is really a huge disappointment! Very poor food, more over we were charged in the bill more than we ordered. I have ordered a small beer (4 euros) and in the bill I was charged for a big beer (7 euros), the waiter pushed to sign the bill without giving a chance to read it through, but we did it anyhow and asked to change it — he answered that he can not and that we will be charged 2 euros (although it should be 3 euros) less once we check out. We asked for the copy of the bill with his manual change which he promised to provide, but he did not! He just wanished! We ordered soup Minestrone for 8 euros which appear to be just a soup from a carton box that you can find in any supermarket (oversalted and far from being close to Minestrone) with just 2-3 small peas drifting in it. The pizza (17 euros) was as well terrible with overcooked vegetables and not ready pastry, was served on a hot plate and the waiter did not bother to warn my husband so he burnt himself.
If you are not dying from hunger I would not recommend to anybody to eat here, and if you do — check the bill before paying!

No customer friendliness. Had paid for Breakfast buffet, but could not remain so long, until it would be served. To get my wish, prior to the time a Cup of coffee, soluble coffee,, was not dismissed just friendly…

Too far from anything else. On top of that they lack big time a vegetarian menu.

I am changing my review. For the most part it was pretty nice. I just got a room having a bad week. But it's a cool place. Good Cool because of the nice decorations and not good cool because the heater didn't work in my room (they got it to work one night, but it just would not work) and the shower was warm and weak at best.

The rooms are very OK since they have been renovated a couple years ago. Staff normally is very friendly, but the building shows its age; hall ways are quite dark and can give a prison feel, bathrooms could use an upgrade (replace the bathtubs by walk-in showers), the new airconditioning in the rooms is fantastic. Very quiet and efficient. I have been coming here for over 15 years and always liked the personal approach by staff at reception. Now with the "modern" self service checkin it sort of feels like a budget hotel and it simply is too expensive for that. On the upside is that the location is perfect for a business trip due to the many large companies around. I did notice though that many of the old staff, who really made a difference are no longer there. (EDIT: Whilst checking out I bumped into some of the old timers and one of them immediately recognized me (after more than 2 years) and greeted me by name. Very impressive! )

The hotel is certainly a decent place to have a conference, like I did. The catering is at par and the personell more than friendly. The rooms are clean and very spacious and come with good airconditioning. Only drawback is that this hotel is not very suitable for city trips due to it's location which is a bit far from the center of Brussels.

Considering the average quality of Holiday Inn hotels, this is absolutely above that line. Very modern and functional, lots of free services, very nice customer caring! Food is average, breakfast consistent, price maybe a bit too much considering the position.

DONT TRUST this hotel. Get everything in writing! I cancelled my stay over the phone and they still charged me. I contacted them with cancellation number provided over the phone and they still charged me. The hotel is loud and cheap. Next door is Holiday Inn, very nice.
