I put a star because zero you couldn't. Cleaning does not exist, in the shower there are ambiguous stains, the floor is filthy and there is a radiator covered with postwar dust. The entrance is shared with a kebab, with steep and narrow stairs. In essence, I only recommend it to the hygiene inspector. The only positive note is that it is close to the center.

First of all: Don't book this hotel. The photos are not representative! They don't look like reality! The room is dirty! The dirty curtains, dirty beddings, hard pillows, it made a heat in the room, no security at the windows so impossible to leave them open the day. The small plus of the hotel: the beasts that go up along the bed… Even though it is well located look for another hotel. I wouldn't recommend it.
Breakfast served from 7am to 9am even on weekends…

Avoid this establishment that looks more like a pigsty than anything else.
If we could put a note below zero it would have been nice. Arrived about 11:00 with my brother and my five-month-old baby. I first noticed stairs to never finish, the receptionists super unpleasant, with no respect and not at all empathetic, I do not even mention the manager of the hotel who yelled at me. The towels smelled bad and mostly were dirty and covered with foundation. But the most serious was the smell of cigarette that did not finish despite the ventilation of the so-called room. With a baby of 5 months it was just not possible (I spare you the rest of the lies of this hotel that do not have one). So I call ebooking which was a great help, without it would not have been possible.

I booked before I saw the reviews so was a little bit scared of this hotel. Seriously, it is not as bad as people described it to be. Yes, it is very basic and it has a little smell of smoke but otherwise it is decent. I had single with a bathroom which is what I am after when I travel. It is not the Hilton obviously but if you looking for that, it is across the street from RH with the price that turn your hair grey. The only real complaint I have is the noise, my room was first from the reception and it is REALLY loud during the night. The staff is polite and informative, did not experience any rudeness. Payment was smooth and checkout was quick. I left my luggage with them before and after my stay without any issues. It is solid, close to city centre and have a bathroom in the room if you traveling on budget this hotel is ok.

Decent price for the good location of the hotel, pretty close to the landmarks to visit. But the rooms are less correct: smell of cigarettes in a non smoking room, very humid, curtains in bad condition…
Good for a short stay with a limited budget.

One of the worst things seen in my life, ugly, dirty, uncomfortable… however if you come to mind other negative adjectives add them as you please you will not be mistaken.

Never seen such a dirty hotel, it looks like a hotel of pass. The joints of the bathroom are covered with black mold, no bath mats, the toilets are dirty.
The room does not smell good, the bedspread is stained, the bed a place is tiny, so do not do more than 1.50m to be pretty much comfortable in it. The room 2 people only has a towel and a single cushion. No bedside lamp, no switch next to the bed, no plug in the two rooms we took. One of the two rooms did not even have a window and it smelled very bad. Only aeration, the bottom of the door that overlooks the ugly carpet of the hallway.
Receptionists are unsympathetic to possible or even aggressive. They refuse to supply the bills, it smells like scam. There's a kebab stuck in the hotel, even boss probably. So hello the smells that go up, the hallways smell like cigarettes… In short, to flee without hesitation. It's better to sleep on a public bench.

BE WARN! This hotel should be a zero star. The only good thing about it is the location. Room 9, was the single bed in the room with a full bed and twin. Do not stay here.

A staff at the edge of politeness who probably forgot the meaning of the word "amiable", a state of dubious cleanliness (a beautiful tuft of hair upon our arrival in the room, common areas barely maintained etc. ), a primary comfort (I had to use my T-shirt as a bath mat as they did not provide). The photos of the site do not correspond absolutely to the reality (Photoshop? ). Flee!

This is the worst hotel in the world. You know, it’s not even the hotel. Just a guy and a horrible place. We rushed and didn’t check the rating… the dirtiness of the bad is hard to explain: everything was there — hair, body fluid stains, burns. We decided to leave right away. Go and pay extra 20 euro for a good stay. This rathole should be asking no more than 10 euro. Trust me on that.

My friend and I stayed at the Royal Hotel (if hotel can be defined) for two nights from the 15th to the 17th of March.
It was a nightmare stay (nightmare is also little).
We walked in the room and at times we took a shot… Room without window (or rather a window that looks fake and overlooking the stairs from which enters smells of onion). The room was filthy (a sty is cleaner as well as the Clochard) … Hair everywhere, even on the pillow with attached stains of I do not know what and the floor so dirty that the shoes were attached to it. Not to mention the bathroom (shower tray full of rust, which at moments you take the tetanus, icy water that came out of every where, dirty carpet) strong piece is the breakfast… We booked with booking and it was written written that breakfast was included to then find that you had to pay €5… The absurd thing was that we should have done it in a Kebabbaro. In If the breakfast was poor (two sandwiches, milk and juice) and bedbugs in the beds!
Ps the Wi-Fi was not working and the receptionist who was there in the morning was very rude!
I almost forgot… The stairs are suicide!
In short a stay not to repeat in this hotel!

I don't recommend this place. The rooms smell too much of tobacco, so much so that we get sick in the night we spent there. The bathroom too dirty and they use photos to take off from the hotel that are in front.

Far from Royal. Come here if you want to smell the perfume of mold in the bathrooms and enjoy stained CUMforters… only good thing is that they have late check in, but you must check out on the dot at 11am otherwise they will bang on your door.

They had a lot of interest with us, the location was very good the rooms are comfortable and clean and the service is exemplary.

I don't ask for much in a hotel; I just want somewhere clean, comfortable, and with friendly staff. This hotel provided none of these things. The receptionist was rude and spoke to us very abruptly. Our room wasn't ready on time and when we were finally able to go up to the room through grubby hallways, we arrived in a room which was reasonably sized but very grubby, with exposed pipes and wires everywhere. The fire alarm had been removed and the room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke. It seems that there was some attempt at updating the room, but the vinyl wood flooring was seriously damaged and the radiator was a complete state. We stayed for an hour; long enough to book into another hotel nearby. When we checked out the receptionist didn't ask why, she didn't even seem surprised. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Where to start? Entrance: Small and inclined staircase.
Reception: The machine rejects all credit cards to pay in cash and avoid declaring sales.
Cleaning: In the mezzanine when entering there were a half-pulled in the middle of the staircase. The room is a mess, with fluff and dirt everywhere and an awful smell. The bathroom with a cigar smell and just as dirty as the room.
Breakfast: toasted bread and milk muffins with butter to eat jam. To drink orange juice, very bad coffee and water. The truth is that breakfast was OK, maybe I could improve but it's not of the bad stuff.

Small one star hotel, inexpensive, but pretty hard to find. The staff is Pakistani and is very friendly. There is no lift and the rooms are arranged on three floors, with a little bumpy wooden stairs. The rooms are very small, as well as the bathroom, which was not spotless. It can be good for one night in an emergency situation.

I was by the 8 10 2015 2015 11 10 at the Royal Hotel in Brussels and was horrified. Caveat: I have no high expectations, expected nothing special and wanted to be a cheap hotel to sleep and during the day in the city on the move easy. I'm festival goers, bad food and unkomfortables housing is difficult to disrupt, but hotel did it, that I prefer in a tent on a lawn in the middle of Brussels (at 4 ° C at night) would have stayed.
The first impression is a narrow, steep staircase (for me, shouldn't be a problem much luggage mentioned me but for older or people) with unstable railing (especially in the upper section). Directly at the entrance to the reception is, here is a (usually bad mood) an employee with very rudimentary Englschkenntnissen each. The room allocated to me ( (No. 7) single room with private WC) was the size of a large storage closet (well, a single room in nem small hotel hold that could you expect, I found not bad) tilt with a window to a flat roof between the other hotel page and the dependance on the lots were and to the right two Windows next door and the other side of the hotel showed, so that you get could see directly in the room and could be observed in the other way around if you all the time wanted the curtain, which made the room very dark (poor lighting). The bed was ok, but quite hard and it itched me in the morning in some places… Kind of messy.

Nothing short of pathetic! hygienic absolutely non-existent! good price and good location, but this is not enough to be even minimally acceptable.
