Brxxl 5 City Centre Hostel Hostel

Good place to stay few days in Brussels. We booked a room for 5 persons. We had a dedicated bathroom. Good location if you want to be near the center and the midi train station. Room are clean but no sheets for blankets and pillows.

We found this place while looking for accomodation options in Brussels. Very reasonably priced and decent rooms for students and couples looking for cheap accommodation in main Brussels. The hotel is located 1.5km away from the city centre and hence very convenient to come back to room and rest for a while or grab something in case you forgot something. The service is quite good. A great overall experience. Recommended when visiting Brussels.

Generally I am not to stay in shared rooms but in Brussels there are not many alternatives as the simple rooms are very expensive, this hostel was very good, at the reception there is waiting room and you can warm food, the rooms are Relatively new, the bathroom very well and the beds too.

Good value for the price, the location is also good, 10 minutes from the Grote Markt. Cleaning lady is very rude and slow, as well as Unthorough. Superficially everything clean but under the bed we found a cigarette. Attention for allergy sufferers. In the hotel there is probably a cat permanently on the road.

I found the place to be very good quality. Very good reception. Seating area with coffee, plugs, large screen and pool. Access to the rooms with card. Very comfortable beds and bathrooms with very good shower! Very close to the train station! I lowered a point because the Wi-Fi does not arrive well in the rooms.

This hotel is a SWINDLER. I stayed in a hotel 31.01.2018. I gave the my credit card number for reservation. When I went to hostel they want me cash and told me "that credit card for just provision we will NOT withdraw money from your credit card and the provision will take 10 days". Then I gave the money (because I trust them but you'll NEVER trust them it is wrong decision) and took the cash bill. So far so good. I check the provision with online banking application but they did not withdraw. Also I become indebted to hostel two times. I sent email but they do not still answer to me perseveringly.

A highly recommended hostel if you are going to arrive or leave the station du Midi, you arrive walking, 15 minutes maximum. The area may not be the prettiest, but it is very close to the Grand Plaza, bar area, etc. The guy at the front desk that is during the day, is veery friendly and speaks Castilian the rooms are spacious and the shower also. If you are in mood saving, the coffee machine costs 1 euro.

It is ok… The attention was very friendly and I cough but to have been inaugurated in the 2013 you see that they have let it decay a bit, and that there is no real attention to details, but hey, for the price they offer in Brussels the truth is not bad at all. That if a lot of attention, is located in a not very friendly area so better keep your eyes open.

Hostel is in a strange region I feel unsafe. Hostel personnel was nice except one working in breakfast building. He insisted me to give my social media contact addresses it was really annoying I was travelling alone but this is the first I have came across something like this. Hostel was clean but breakfast wasn't good.

This hotel authorizes charges on your card without authorization, I have been robbed € 25.99 without having had any reservations made or having stayed at your hotel ever. Thieves.

Great hostel, 2 beds and 1 key was an annoying policy (considering the traveller with me was unwell and in bed for a lot of our stay). Great staff and facilities.

Excellent location and friendly staff. Facilities very comfortable. The only bad thing was that the hair dryer did not work and asked for ten euros deposit to give us another. The Wi-Fi connection does not work well in the rooms and the beds do not have light of its own, there is only one light for the entire room. The bathroom is very comfortable although the mattresses of the beds do not. In the common living room there are table with chairs and vending machines for coffee, drinks and snacks.

Good value for money. Nice room A little noisy, but bearable. Good location and close to the train station.

Clean and very nice! Had adorable cats! Breakfast was available for less than 5€. No towels provided.

Hostel very nice and staff very helpful (speaking multiple languages and an exquisite treatment). We haven't had breakfast there because the hours didn't suit our visits but have a site to Wi-Fi, and interaction with other visitors rather large. You can walk to the most touristic area of Brussels and there is a metro stop next to hotel (up to the train stop to the airport 5 minutes walk). The only problem has been the noise any night that has been exaggerated. The room very clean and with modern furnishings, the beds very comfortable.

A perfect hostel super friendly and helpful all and what totally cute is this is the Cat there.

Very clean. Reception 24/24. Room for 4 with the necessary. Neighborhood not far from the center on foot. Nice setting. Excellent value for money. Towel for rent at €2. You can even put your luggage when you have returned the room.

Great hostel! Clean, nice, cozy. The price is great for all these amenities. On the ground floor there is a dining room, you can order breakfast or cook yourself, for this there is a microwave, kettle, crockery, in general all the amenities.
In addition, you can rent a towel-€2 and a lock for the "safe". By the way, it is better to bring a small castle simply.
All in all excellent. While revenge is the best hostel where I have been.

Good location, staff helpful and polite, rooms clean and warm. The Wi-Fi is a bit weak in the rooms but that is nonsense. I would repeat!

Modern but rooms dwarfs, a lot of noise, listen to everything, cats with bells on for the night. And the breakfast of 5e is not worth anything, better to find a café that offers coffee +pasta by 1.5 and.

Won’t reccomend if you have a lot of luggage. It is a pain to maneuver it all the way up the stairs. Also, the 4th floor does not have Wi-Fi, which is an absolute must when traveling! The bathrooms are newly updated, however, when I tried to shower it was very cold! I asked the front desk and they said, “You shouldn’t shower during that time. ” So I tried a different time and it was still very cold! Not the best location, but updated facilities.

Amazing and economical hostel with an amazing hospitality service. A person is available 24*7 at the reception desk. Always ready to help. The hostels were very clean and tidy and cozy. Located very near to the centre, it provides everything a tourist/ traveller might need :) Highly recommended :)

This was the cleanest hostel I've been to. It even smelled nice when we entered the room for the first time. Everything is very modern and the rooms seem new so there's nothing to really complain about. The washroom is also very nice with a roomy stand up shower and lots of space around the toilet and sink. You won't feel cramped at all. The only thing that was subpar was the Wi-Fi connection in my room. But if you go downstairs to the main lobby, you get full bars and you have a place to sit. They even have a computer for you to use if needed.

It was a nice and clean place. Checkin required ID. They offered breakfast for €5 next door. I slept in a 4 person room with three of my friends. The room had two bunk beds with storage room underneath each. There's a coat rack, a small balcony and power outlets next to each bed. We also had a private bathroom with shower, sink, toilet and towel dryer. The Wi-Fi was slightly weak in our room, but strong in the lobby. Checkout was very quick. Only had to drop off our room card. All in all the place was nice and clean and had exactly what we needed. Points of improvement were that there was only one light per room, and it was quite dim. Would've liked to have a brighter one. Would recommend going!

Great place to stay! Even a dorm is very comfortable because of Urban style. Hostel is clean, have a new, clean bathrooms and propose great breakfast for 5 euro. Personnel always help us, answers all questions and give advices. I felt that I'm a guest, there is a hostility atmosphere. P. S. No bicycle parking, but reseptionist help us and find a safe place for our bikes. Thanks!

The staff is excellent, very good deal and available. Speak all of the languages which is convenient. The place is spotless. Without breakfast.

The location is good, very close to the train station. The hostel is quite new, this clean. While I was is short and light and the Wi-Fi does not go well.

It's ok for its price (got a private room) … Close to the Midi station, which is a bad side of town. Sheets were smelly. Drain in the shower was clogged. The girl at the counter was very funny though! All the big famous Brussels sights are a bit close by — 30 minute stroll or 5 to 10 minutes by subway.

There is No denying that the location is strategic. Close to the Gare du Midi and caminandondel center. But the neighborhood is terrible! The service is extremely basic and the Internet goes out there… for 1 night I think max. But ko da for more.

I loved it. The location is ideal, a few blocks from the North Station and one block from the metro. The very food rooms like the bathroom.

It's a pretty good place to stay. Very clean rooms and bathrooms, I got stuck with a smelly traveler but I asked for a room transfer and they moved me no problem! good area, some great food options around, 15min walk to Grand Place and good bars. The only downside is not many people hangout in the common room, so if you are traveling solo just hope you have cool roommates Haha.

Great acommodation, the bathroom is good, it's kinda quiet in the night, nothing to complain. Wifi works like a charm all over the rooms.

The place is clean and good. Wi-Fi is average. Sorting areas downstairs is nice. Noisey in the evenings. Good place to stay for a couple of days.

Two friends and I booked a private room with three beds. It was basically a hotel room. Twin/single beds of course. Not bunk beds. Private bath just like a hotel. The building seems new and nice. The shower was good. Soap and towels provides. Good location walking distance from central tourist things.

Such high hopes for this place, the building was brand new the bathrooms were 4 star hotel quality and the bunk beds were nice and solid. Why a terrible rating? 1) payment terminal not working which meant a 10-15 minute walk at night to find an ATM 2) over booked 2nd night which meant one girl in our room had to sleep on a spare mattress, 5 people 4 bed dorm 3) charged my credit card for deposit has not released the money so I paid extra, they are not helpful via email 4) Wi-Fi sux in rooms.

Beware! one of my roommate's GoPro camera was stolen from hostel room while he was sleeping. Toilet on our floor was out of service. The room allocation was not very efficient either. The room we were allocated turned out to be already occupied and we were sent to basement room where linens were not replaced by the hotel staff.
