Why not 5 stars? The staff is so friendly, rooms are really nice. You have a coffee machine. AND RITUALS in the room! Maybe one point of improvement? The pillows are like two half pillows. A real pillow would be great. Also they speak English, French and Dutch!

Good bed, good shower. Breakfast is 20 Euro each! We did not find that out till after we got our bill. If you are willing to pay that much it is very tasty. I would recommend walking round the corner to Paul's and getting breakfast there.

Nice, quiet hotel in the heart of the EU quarter. Comfortable rooms, some with a quaint little terrace.

Excellent Service, the reception at the top, the breakfast is all simpkement varied and especially rich in flavor… A staff to listen so that the stay this passes at best I invite you to take a tour.

I congratulate the professionalism and especially warm Lacceyil… arrived early at 8am the receptionist us right away finds a room! Great breakfast Close to the city center… I will advise you without hesitation.

Hotel molto bello e confortevole. Camere grandi e funzionali. Si mangia molto bene, colazione abbondante e varia. Molto vicino alla stazione della metro 1 e 5, fermata Schuman e al palazzo della Commissione Europea. Consigliato.
Hotel very nice and comfortable. Bedrooms big and functional. We have eaten very well, breakfast abundant and varied. It’s very closed to the metro 1 and 5 stop Schuman and to the European Commission’s palace. Recomended

Coming towards Brussels from the east, accessing this hotel is not too hard with it only being slightly off the main road followed by a large roundabout (look for a small shell garage at the top of the road). I would not exactly say that this is the most prestigious looking hotel I have ever stayed at when looking from the outside but it certainly fits the bill on the inside. Reception staff were excellent, helpful and friendly with both check-in and out being exceptionally quick and painless. The restaurant (although combined with the bar and quite small) staff and actual food were good, prices we found to be average. Breakfast was also of an excellent standard with cooked and continental alternatives being available and continually refreshed.
Proximity to public transport / metro stations was also pretty good — so long as there is not an EU summit going on when the closest metro station (Schuman) will always be closed and no parking will be allowed anywhere near the hotel! Do not expect a room-with-a view at this hotel, but bearing in mind where you are this is only to be expected really. You are just down the road from the EU commission and a short walk to the the Cinquantenaire park and Arc de Triomphe.

It is very close to the European Union paliment. It is probably about 100 meters. It's reasonable price compared to location. Very close to the bus terminal to Brussels Airport is also, maybe 100m. Staff are friendly and breakfast is reasonable for the price. It is good not to expect much. The hotel room is clean and comfortable. The worst thing is that the elevator is very narrow. It is about three people in size and has only one elevator. During the morning check out time, it is good to use the stairs.

Standard hotel that you can expect what service you could get. Restaurant outlet is not big but enough for breakfast. There is one outlet. The room is standard hotel. Good for business trip in surrounding of European commission since its close place Jordan where you can find cafes and restaurants and few minutes walk to European parliament. Close by sofitel place Jordan.

My room was extremely clean and spacious. The bathroom was also clean and the shower was warm and powerful. The heating for my room seemed to have broken though; I turned it all the way to the top because I cold but the temperature definitely did not change.

Great place in a good location. 4 stars because of a rude employee during breakfast on the 2nd day. All other employees were nice and helpful.

The room seems nice, however, if you are here do check out the nighttime bartender, he is very friendly and knows his trade. Enjoyed every moment at the bar, made the flight cancellation a pleasant experience!

I will not thank some of the Front Office people who think more about making a profit than to satisfy the new customers. This is not a winning strategy…

I'm alway satisfied with Holiday Inn locations. My boyfriend is an IHG Platinum Elite member so we stay in their facilities often. This particular hotel impressed me most with their luxurious bathrooms and breakfast! Awesome.

Holiday Inn Schuman is a small hotel just off the centre of Brussels, it is about a 5 minute walk from the Schuman station on the metro. It is only a few stops on the metro from the centre of town and you are only a couple a minutes away from the centennial park with museums on one side and about a 10 minute walk from the Leopold park and the EU museum, parliament and the natural history museum on the other side. There are also several EU institutions around the hotel. The hotel has a small bar and restaurant and if you feel that you want something else there are plenty of bars and restaurants around the hotel. The lobby area is quite small but there are more seating in the restaurant if you need to. The rooms are compact but functional and the bathrooms are well planned. The business rooms are slightly bigger and have a coffee machine and a trouser press. All rooms have safes and a work desk. The rooms facing the back are quieter as there is no traffic. The free internet is very slow so you have to buy premium if you are dependent on a working connection. The hotel doesn't have a gym but if you ask they will give you access to a local gym 5 mins walk from the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful and allow both early and late check in/out if there is capacity.

Ok hotel but a little expensive from the point of view of quality/price ratio.

Very nice large rooms, clean, good location, nice Service and top Breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice, salmon, fruit salad, Baguettes, Croissants in various variants and many more. Incomprehensible, only that most of the TV channels are not free of charge.

Like most Holiday inn motel this is more of a business person motel than a tourist motel. The location is ok. It is just a short subway ride to the Grand Place. The rooms were nice but no free breakfast. : (

Spent one night in this lovely hotel. Don't expect over the top luxury but everything was spacious, clean and functional. The room (305) had everything we needed, even a separate shower and bath. Shower gell and Shampoo from Rituals were lovely. Coffee & the facilities in the room as well as a paying mini-bar. Safe was also available. Breakfast in the morning managed to impress us as well. Nice collection of fruits, fresh orange juice, delicious salmon and off course hot items as well. The hotel has a small underground parking (only 8 spaces). Parking is free along the street during the weekend.

Typical holiday inn in Brussels, easy to get to. Friendly staff, all facilities as expected. Staff was friendly and respectful even to the group of facepainted goth dorks in the lobby. I appreciated that a lot. Other than that nothing to call home about. The chain could invest a bit in the dawn of businesses like the local motel one.

Central location, clean rooms and helpful staff. The bathroom is spacious and the bed comfortable for those who like the mattress very soft.

Thrs nothing to like. The room I checked in 648 stinks of smoke. Not jus that, the bed is not clean. The phone buttons r missing. So u really don kno whr u r callin. N how to call. On top of that, wen u call reception the lady is so ill behaved that inspite of apologising, she keeps arguing that she is aware of it but m nt the only guest in hotel. I managed to call from my frens room n even after 30 min no1 turned up from housekeeping. N as per the receptionist, it has been jus 2 min. I ve been waiting for more than 30 min in the corridor, waiting for the housekeepin or the hotel staff to come and mend the problem. Is this ur brand standard?

Refurbished rooms are very good enticing. However, twin single beds not good for me, there's need for innovation here.

Refurbished rooms are notably better. Excellent location, 3 min walking distance from European Institutions. Free (and fast) Wi-Fi in the lobby and rooms. Kind and very professional staff.

One of the better hotels in Brussels. Friendly staff, good breakfast, reasonably nice rooms, good location, nice local restaurants. Let downs are TV channel selection is poor and the Internet, it costs and is so slow and weak signal my tablet and phone can hardly surf the web. As I'm here on business a lot I'm not going out every evening so I can either watch 1 or 2 channels or have to read a half loaded web page, as you can forget streaming music or videos.
