Great set up with an excellent Bar. Not saw but also on demand in the location, provide a toilet brush in the bathroom.

Grand hotel in the centre of Brussels, welcomes him is user friendly and the lounge where I was welcomed for a professional presentation was nice. Modern decoration and quiet atmosphere.

Decent place. Room are bit cleaner than the other reviews said. Very slow Wi-Fi.

I visited this hotel to attend a conference for work. The facilities were good, clean and the staff are very friendly. Excellent food served in the restaurant. It was a buffet style but all the food was very good.

Bloom is an excellent hotel, beautifully situated right next to the botanical gardens in Brussels. It's "boutique" without being annoyingly so, with striking, yet understated, decor. The service was excellent, the breakfast superb.

An excellent hotel. For us, it was better then many of the 5 star hotels. Good value for money. Good location. Nice staff.

Just returned to England after 3 nights in the delightful home of Alan and Arlene. It is no accident that it is called "Guesthouse" as in every way we were made to feel welcome guests and nothing was skimped. The grand house is authentically Belgian. Large old building, kept snug and warm at all times. Very tastefully themed rooms, with gorgeous coordinated fine linen. Generous supplies of towels of all sizes, laundered towelling robes. Tea coffee facilities. Mini Bar. Guesthouse pens, chocolates, postcard. The breakfast table had a new design napkin each day and seasonal selection of cheeses and cold meats, croissants, patisserie, breads, spelt… and especially for me Gluten Free. Preserves were mainly home made from their son's small holding a few miles in the country. Beautiful paintings, rustic hearts, candles greet you. A wonderful experience. We noticed the many little things and warmth of welcome. Many visitors have become friends!

We took advantage of their Music package for the concert of Great Mountain Fire. A superb concert followed a pleasant night and a sumptuous breakfast.
In short, a great moment in love!

Actively unhelpful front desk ("Princess" told us there was no food in the area except for the hotel restaurant, we went searching about a mile the wrong way when there were literally a dozen restaurants a block and a half away, barely out of view). Hot and cold water piped backwards to the tub/shower — red was cold, blue was hot, so it wasn't a language confusion thing. (Sink was plumbed right. ) At a significant discount, it was worth it for a big room with modern furnishing, decent lighting, very comfy mattress, big tub, plenty of hot water, quiet elevators, window that opens at least a couple of inches. Warning: the walk from the train station is up one of the steeper hills in town (the locals told us to go up, up, up, very steep) and the first 80% of it is through a fairly downscale red light district. In the evening, expect lots of guys clustered in packs on the streetcorners. I have no anxieties about, say, the red light district in Amsterdam, but I would not have felt comfortable alone here. Too many sideways, measuring looks as we passed by. We also got the room with a fairly crude mural (I think the artist pulled one over on the hotel, and good for her). Didn't bother us, but if you are traveling with kids or for some other reason you don't fancy even tidy, well-drawn cartoon graffiti of penises and condoms and boobs, you might want to ask which room you're getting. (I actually got a kick out of it, and hope it stays.

Good value on Expedia — room for under €100

Located next to the botanical garden, a freshly renovated building, bordering the financial district and the somewhat shabby neighborhood closer to the northern railway station. The service at the reception was very friendly, the "Panorama" room was spacious and clean, decorated with wall paintings and design furniture. The bed was comfortable and generally we enjoyed the quietness in the hotel. The restaurant was closed in early August 2010, but the breakfast room was open, serving a 15€ (discount price) breakfast. We decided to have breakfast in one of the lovely cafes (Arcadi) in town instead. A two-minute walk to the metro station and approximately 20 minutes walk to Grand Place. Would stay here again.
