Rooms clean and with a kitchen. Good Wi-Fi. Breakfast is nice. Had no problems at all.

Very clean room, new furniture, a very good breakfast, more than enough, the mini-bar with beverages included in the room's price!

This is a very lousy hotel. The rooms are not clean. The room service is atrocious. The staff spend 7 minutes per room! That's not enough to even clean the bathroom! The noise pollution from the rooms on the garden side is atrocious and the management does nothing to resolve this. The gym room is busy with the young residents so there's no chance of a workout. Although I'm a dog person, I have a problem with dogs sitting in the armchairs in the lobby or rubbing themselves on the carpet or barking at people. Private tutelage is given, in a very loud voice, in the middle of the lobby with no care to the others. The location is great but unfortunately the service is not a 4 star. For the same price you can find much better hotels in the city where your complaints are actually addressed. So save your money and go to a better place.

Really good price for the 4 stars hotel, very clean and renovated, intelligent rooms. Had a room with balcony and kitchinette and a king size bed — incredibly quiet at night. Also, it is nearby the tramway station so in 15 minutes you can be in the heart of Vienna. It has private parking and also you can park freely on the street. The breakfast is okay but I recommend the restaurant and the bars neaeby.

Nice clean hotel a bit outside city but close to tram and buses. Good choice of buffet breakfast, had patio but next door rooms had access so not private but no issues on my trip. Lovely coffee in cafe next door and lovely tempting pastries. Room was ok, bed comfy and enough room for 2. Good size shower though bathroom only fit one at a time. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Would come back.

A pretty large room with a balcony to the inner (very green) courtyard, air conditioned, very clean, big enough TV (smart) with a lot of programs, a small kitchenette, every day two beers on the house and above all very nice personnel! What could be better? Maybe the distance to the city center could be shortened a little bit? :)

Breakfast is good and varied. However, there was an Overload in one Day and there was a lack of space. It would then Be Advisable to Provide coffee Pots, as then a Coffee Machine is not enough … It was the Exception … But in this Case, the Price was not reasonable.

The reception staff is very friendly and competent. The attached restaurant has interesting and inexpensive dishes. The room is nice and modern furnished. The bathroom is a little too modern, i. E. The function is sacrificed to the stylish look and is impaired by it. Due to the design the Duschentüre is leaking, the sink drain too slow and the toilet door transparent (look good, function defective! ). The beds are very good. The breakfast buffet is extra to pay, not cheap, but good standard with a selection of first class teas and very good coffee. I liked it and I will be happy to come back.
I particularly liked the ivy-overgrown façade of the inner courtyard, which contributes to the fact that in the morning the birds sing in front of the window.
The location near this wine village Grinzing is suburban calm.

The twins for our 60 birthday we planned a journey to the Austrian capital Vienna. We have in the time of 02.04. Until 13.04.18 Beautiful days spent in your hotel and experienced Vienna. The room was well suited to our needs and was suitable for our conditions and equipped with all the needed. Beautiful would have been a balcony. However, the lack of balcony does not lead to your hotel being booked again and again to recommend. After our stay we stay in front of all 3 staff in very good memory.

Very friendly and courteous staff, clean and cosy rooms. The Breakfast buffet is rich and the connection to public TRANSPORT is optimal. The only weak point is the extreme clairaudience. All in all, a empgehlen values location.

Reminds something of Kevin alone in Newcastle York but only the first impression staff is very nice, we were greeted by a blonde young lady very nice and well you rooms are modern furnished very inviting size is sufficient. We stayed 3 nights and would like to return 1 star deduction since the toilet cover was a bit loose and the fridge in the room turned on about every 3 hours otherwise very solid hotel.

Location Rooms after renovation. Very comfortable, very well equipped. Besides the standard set there is a kitchen with a stove, a washstand, a set of utensils. There is a kettle. Safe. Breakfast buffet. There is a patisserie, a restaurant and a bar. In the pastry and in the restaurant was all delicious. And here is the Bar (Kaiserbar) razacharoval. A cold (generally) tea was filed. But in general, very, very good.

The name says it — Living Hotel, 80's style, a lot of mirrors in the lobby, remember Bruce Lee fighting the bad guy in a space full of mirrors, you get that feeling. Not bad for the price. If you stay for longer period you could get use of the kitchenette.

I have been here this week for the first time
checked in and must say that 5 stars are still too little. Top rooms, very friendly staff, but there is absolutely nothing I could criticize so far. The price — performance ratio is hard to beat. I'm still here for a few days, but I already know that I will book here again in 5 weeks on my next round through Austria

Probably one of the worst 4 stars hotels in Vienna. Rooms on the 1st floor are dirty, old and with insects (here you can spot cockroaches in Europe). Pricey breakfast but very good.

Good hotel with decent breakfast. Rooms are not large but practically furnished. Everything you need. Cafes in the same house and gourmet spar in the immediate vicinity.

When we walked into the room we were initially unimpressed because it looked stark and tiny. But it turned out to be very efficiently laid out and very clean. The bathroom was very up to date. The hotel staff was excellent and the free water and beer in the mini-bar was a nice touch. The hotel was in a convenient location for the subway, tram as well as grocery store and churches. We would definitely stay here again.

It is a beautiful hotel has services for every need but as usual the facilities of this kind cost much indeed, for me, a lot.

Comfortable and clean. Very warm hotel and noisy if you open the windows on the front of the building. Excellent breakfast but the bar was smokey in the evenings.

On the next visit to Vienna there will be a quarter again. The hotel is clean, tidy and the service very good. Time and again. It is also conveniently located. In 30 minutes. You are at St. Stephen's Cathedral by train 38 and bus 1a.

Clean, well presented with good facilities, the hotel rests on its laurels and remains a little jaded. Breakfast reasonable but not 4 star. Room for improvement.

Our favorite hotel in Vienna. We are returning over and over again here. Located in the excellent area. It is quiet, clean and has a lot of rooms and apartments. Some are renovated (very good), but the not renovated rooms are excellent, as well. Under roof apartments (two floors) with terraces are excellent. Sweet shop at the ground floor has very tasty sweets. Reception staff is always helpful. Free drinks in each room. Perfect Wi-Fi connection. Simple and efficient tram connection to center of Vienna. All the best for this hotel.

The property offers single rooms well furnished and spacious. The tram is 50 meters from the hotel. The 38 takes you downtown or wrinkling: Vienna's area with open-air Viennese style restaurants,

The breakfast buffet was amazing! The staff helpful, courteous and knowledgeable, the rooms clean and comfortable, the location convenient. I have nothing but WONDERFUL to say about this hotel, and the DERAG chain!

The overall stay has been very good. The breakfast spread and arrangements were really good. The lift inside the hotel, door locks seems to be old and guess needs a change. While some of front desk were helpful and polite in providing information, some were not. I guess they need to be trained to smile and serve. Being a tourist in a new location that makes the stay more complete. But given a chance I would definitely stay again or recommend to others.

I enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel and the front desk staff were very helpful. I like the gym small but good. Maybe I would wish to have at least one more TV channel in English other than CNN. The location of the hotel is also very good close to the train station and a supermarket.

I stayed there 3 nights for personal reasons. The reception experience was pleasant and handled efficiently. The Standard room is small and clean. The furnishings are modern (sterile) but functional. I appreciated the firm mattress on the bed. The little kitchenette is a plus, but it should be equipped with the necessary plates and utensils for at least 2 people. The bathroom is small, clean and well equipped — the only problem is the shower pan: it is rather slippery especially with soapy feet! Also the insulation between floors is, respectively the floor coverings do not absorb the sliding of a chair across the floor in the room above.

This was our second stay in this Hotel. What we liked most is the staff that is always ready to support you on any of your requests. The hotel is still under renovation and it was a bit noisy but this was only during the day when we were out. Breakfast is also great and you have plenty of different choices of food, vegetables, drinks and so one. You can also use your small kitchen on your room which makes this hotel special for a long stay with reasonable price. I will definitely visit again this hotel.

Staff very nice, fitness room was updated since last stay. Laundry is a nightmare, staff and residents use same machines. Dryers do not function properly. Rooms little outdated, but not too bad. No alarm clocks in rooms. Very quiet. Great location close to trams and grocery stores.

POSITIVE:
Very modern, clean and nice room. Also the bathroom was in a top condition.
The breakfast was tasty and there was a large selection. The staff were always friendly, helpful and courteous.
The hotel is located just outside the Centre while, but this is can be reached by tram within 15 minutes.
NEGATIVE:
The bathroom is quite small. The shower door has unfortunately not all the water in the shower. You hang towels to dry the device provided for this purpose, then they hang one in the toilet in the face.
Actually there is good room very good W-LAN-reception, however, there was trouble with the sign in our room again and so you could use the Wi-Fi only restricted to not at all.
In the breakfast room, as well as in the elevator it was very hot and stuffy in spring-like temperatures (22 ° C).
CONCLUSION:
Recommended hotel, you can book at any time for a city trip.

We stayed a week at this hotel and felt from the outset very well: beautiful spacious room with balcony, garden view and one hundred percent clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. Rich breakfast buffet with fresh products. The hotel has a convenient location, 5 minutes 20 minutes go to tram 38, about Schottentor (by this one can go anywhere) and 5 minutes to Grinzing. We will be staying definitely here again during our next visit to Vienna and we would recommend the hotel because even with all my heart!

The room was comfortable and clean. I enjoyed staying in the hotel but I wonder why you don't have a safety in the room so we can put passports and other important documents.

An excellent hotel, very well situated with pleasant staff and amenities. The perfect setting for a holdiay or working trip to Vienna.

Quiet, clean room. The window, lower door not to close properly, therefore, was always a cold draught in the room and the heating could not control the room temp. Socket outlet in the kitchen plate funtionierte, so tea on the Desk. Kleinig strength, but hold on-because on the site the impression of a newly renovated Hotels, this is tract it is not (yet). You could point out to the guest. Here is the old Zeitgeist hovers still, among other things, with a beard, a lock and a key, instead of a magnetic card.

We came to the hotel' a party of 5 to celebrate my father's 94th birthday. The hotel facillaties are superb, but what was really uotstanding was the helpfull staff. Allwas there, to give a hand with a worm smile! thanks for a great trip you hrlped make better yael ronen.

The rooms that are facing the garden are both noisy and very smoky because of the people smoking on their balconies. If you arrive at night, there are no bell boys to help you up with your luggage and if the room is in the corner, then you have to keep dragging the suitcases up a few flights of stairs.

The room was as of 6h in the Morning so loud that I had thought that would be next to me, a house to tear down. Tatsählich was only the supermarket next door to the market. It offers guests the night almost screaming through the gears race, because they have been drinking. The house has been probably since the ' 80s, not refurbished, but well-maintained. According to but the Windows, doors and walls are not noise insulated. For this, the room was quite expensive. At least Breakfast would be included in the rate. In the area there are better Hotels (the street). Cleanliness and decor of the hotel is otherwise good, but if you in the evening can not sleep and in the morning of Höllenläarm awakened will not fall more so into the weight.

Since the opening of the Derag-Hotel Kaiser Franz Joseph in 1989 I have been staying in this hotel every time I go to Vienna. This alone will tell you that I am very happy with the hotel in general, the staff, the location and it's proximities. What a surprise when I received two piccolos of Austrian Sekt for my birthday this year — it shows that the management pays attention to its customers. Just two things — please program the thermostats so that they stay on the set temperatures all night and don't shut off every 3 hours, its OK during the day, but not at night and hopefully, by the next time I be staying there the mattresses have been renewed. All in all, a great place to stay.

We booked a family room which was on two floors and we absolutely loved it. There is also the kitchen the microwave and the fridge. The location is great in 10 minutes by tram you get to Schottentor Universitat near the Rathaus.

Incompetence, unkindness to criticism.

Nicely located hotel: really calm residential area. Nice service, nice, but really tiny rooms. We had the one with built-in little kitchen. One issue concerns this kitchen: room gets pretty smelly cause of it and smell tends to stay so you have to ventilate it room nicely. Generally, good value for little money as for Vienna's overpriced level: you are getting a room almost for a price of the average AirBnb booking. But this place is definitely not a ****-hotel by all means ;).

(Top, fridge plus free beer in the room, even stove, fully comfortable :) ).

Can this hotel not recommend!
We were not informed that was at over 90 euro for a double room per night no breakfast here and that would be ok too if the hotel was not so remote. As we went to our room and saw that scratched oda posted every second door was and that the courses are generally somewhat in need of renovation, we thought us anything yet. As we entered our room and it smelled without exaggeration as if slept until recently is a drunk. Well the institution is mind already 20 years old and really worn down. You get a ten times better room for the same money near the Centre and especially not so consumed. Got me two days complained after our stay (because we had a strict timetable before) and that was told to someone in soon by phone with me would sign. Which of course never happened. So I complained again and I was kindly rejected! NEVER AGAIN! Outside hui and inside Ugh!
PS:. Great idea with the shabby kitchenettes. Old and nothing inside. You could Cook nothing or because there is not a spoon or a plate or else something. Just a few empty cabinets: P.

I absolutely love this hotel! It has the best rooms, no, appartments, that I've ever been accomodated to. The appartments are on two floors, bathrooms at both floors, kitchen, audio system, 2 TVs, bathtub upstairs, king-size beds, large balconies and lots and lots of nice little things. . And the price! Exceptional. I can't recommend this enough.

Hotel is described as a 4 star hotel. Maybe 20 years ago but not anymore. All common premises and furnitures etc. Were quite old and not in so good condition. Broken curtains and flat old pillows etc. Pool at the spa section was filled with sand and flowers. Hotel also advertises that they offer "FREE MINIBAR". That is almost cheating. Their free minibar means two bottles of beer and two bottles of water. That's it. Rooms were quiet and the staff tried to help us as much as possible. Still hotel was a big disappointment! Low budget hotels here in Finland are better than this 4 star hotel in Vienna. Really.

The room smelled of dead grandmothers. Sockets are not all worked. Torn towels. TV times of the 1st world war.
