Had a lovely stay at the Schani with my fiancé, My first time in Vienna, the staff were very helpful, friendly, polite and spoke good English the room was super, the shower was huge and it’s was sparkling clean and fresh throughout the room The breakfast buffet was super more than enough choice and all fresh and looked appetizing and tasty, in the evenings you have a few pints, cocktails and a superb range of gin perfect location to the train station and U Bahn (underground) all in all a fantastic 4 day stay, thank you Hotel Schani for a wonderful stay.

Very nice staff at what is the combination reception area and snack bar. Limited food/snack selections, but pretty much a full bar.

Above all, we received an unexpected gift (champaine) on the first day. Because we are newlyweds! we were very impressed with your kindness. If we come back to Vienna, we would like to stay at the hotel SCHANI WIEN again. Thank you very much. I will not forget the time I spent here.

Near the train station (around 7 mins walking distance)! Perfect for leaving early or arriving late from the station! Modern design and cosy environment! Smart and efficient check in and check out! Skateboard and electric skateboards are available to borrow which was really cool! However, as we wanted to enjoy some music and attend some concerts, the staff from the reception does not know it very well. When we are purchasing the reservation ticket, they didn’t tell us any information about the time for arrival for the reservation ticket. And even misunderstood the word PREPAID and we almost paid €24 extra…

The hotel is slightly outside the central (tourist) part of the city, but its also super close to the U-Bahn (5 min walk), the train station (5 min walk), and the D streetcar is right outside the entrance — so its really easy to get around. Considering the price difference of hotels in the "ring", Hotel Schani Wien is a great choice. The room was very clean, checkin was simple (in fact, you can check in/out all via the phone app and never really need to go to reception! ). Breakfast in the hotel was really nice — a great selection of hams, salami, cheeses, breads, cereals, and scrambled eggs. Not bad for 12 €. There's a drink vending machine outside the building, nearby supermarkets (Billa, Hofer), a nearby laundromat (Green and Clean, though be careful — their computer-controlled system stole about 30€ from me due to its poor instructions), and a few tourist attractions are very close by (the main city ones are about 20 mins by transit).

We were there for breakfast for two bur. It was a buffet that was really plentiful and extremely delicious. Nice staff and a good atmosphere.

I was only in the entrance area, but this one was very nice and tidy. Due to short difficulties with the printer, However, I received a crumpled, not fully printed note as invoice/reservation confirmation, which is why I definitely have to peel off a star. (A reexpression would have solved the problem, which I can certainly expect from such a hotel. )

Actually, I didn't want to write (negative) reviews, but the miserable service this afternoon from the unfriendly employees is driving me. We were three, it took a felt eternity for the young woman to let herself down to put the menus on the table without any welcome. We didn't feel wanted in this place until the very end. In the end I gave some tip, which was not even a thank you or a goodbye. We certainly won't be coming back. Openness and accessibility are not available to me or can be experienced.

The hotel looks very nice and familiar. Rooms are well maintained and the staff is impressive. The footpath from the main station to the station is relatively short. I recommend this hotel. It also offers a Bitcoin machine!

Breakfast is very good. The selection is not as big as other local, but it is quite sufficient. Tip Top!

Great hotel overall. Well placed, close to the train station and a lot of shops. The decor is very tasteful, the bar, the reception, the room, everything was pleasant to the eye. My room was affordable, spacious and well equipped. A large terrace is present with lots of seats and deckchairs. The reception offers to lend electric guitars and the renting of skateboards.

Nice hotel with very kind staff and modern decoration. Also has a bitcoin ATM, which is very good to have.

I absolutely loved this hotel! Their self check-in process is wonderful. The staff were very friendly. They helped me arrange very last minute transportation to the airport (at 3am! ). The rooms were extremely clean and spacious. Their shower set up is very different from any hotel I have ever stayed at, but I loved the quirkiness. I had a room facing the street and still found it to be very quiet. I was there in August and had no problem with the temperature control. The map of the city in the wall is a great touch. There is a tram stop literally in front of the hotel. What else can you ask for! The main train station if within walking distance. There is a underground station, plenty of stores and cheap places to eat within walking distance as well. I can't wait to return in March! The only suggestion I have is to have safe deposit boxes in the rooms. All my stuff was absolutely safe regardless, but it will give a bit more peace of mind.

Tried to be a bit too go hip for its own good, but was nice. The bar was casual and a good spot to unwind at the end of the day.

Unfortunately, no response to e-mail request regarding early check in, therefore have booked other hotel.

Industry style hotel, nice design. Clean and quit room (although the room was on the 1st floor and above the entrance of the hotel). Very good breakfast. Tram stops in front of the hotel (Line D, which takes you directly to the city center).

Beautiful hotel, so so good. Really comfortable rooms, delightful bed and 5mins from the station. The breakfast was amazing, worth having just for the coffee! Wil go back Every time we go to Vienna.

A good mixture of the privacy of a hotel room and the public space of a hostel. Loved the witty yet considerate settings. Good thing is that you have the D tram and Hauptbahnhof right in front of the hotel, which makes ur travel much easier.

This is a very nice property located very close to the central train station. It's very quiet and very stylish. My only complaint, and I heard another guest complain about it, is that the rooms get very warm at night when it's warm outside. I didn't sleep well all three nights that I was there. There's no temperature control on the thermostat and I had the room at the minimum setting. The bar is open 24/7.

Very minimal room. No refrigerator, no coffe, no safe and decor is low budget at best. Clean sheets, shower nice & friendly staff. Likely wouldn't stay again.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with the hip ambience of the hotel. Every nook and cranny has something interesting for you to see. Our room was also equally beautiful — just the right size but carefully and meticolously designed. The staff were more than helpful to us and there were extra services like the use of their computers and free printing. We were also able to get a pocket Wi-Fi for a minimal amount so we can stay connected and go around Vienna with ease. Another plus is the strategic location of the hotel — walking distance from the main train station and near the hop on hop off tour buses.

It has great factory theme I loved it. Super nice, friendly and helpful people. Nice storage room. Very clean. Not the best location but it has great connectivity by tram and bus.

Really enjoyable stay here. We had a cheap room but were more than happy with the size of the room, the map on the wall is really helpful. Comfortable beds and large shower. Only downside was that the ac was not working in our room, they offered to change our room but we opted just for a fan instead. Communal area and bar were really nice. Really helpful staff. Would definitely come back.

Great Hotel. Close to a tram line that'll take you to the city. Friendly staff. USB chargers next to the bed were a real plus.

Not far from the city, 10-15 min with the tram (the D tram is your friend) and the train station for the airport is almost right next door. Cool, design, quiet room, efficient, super nice price for the quality of the room, one of the nice breakfast great coffee and juice extractor… Save the money for a nice opera tickets (10-15 min with your friends D tram) …

Great hotel, Staff very attentive, Perfect location for exploring Vienna. Location of hotel is awesome, next to hauptbanhof with easy access to trains, trams and so on. Will be visiting again!

I enjoyed the 'feel' of the space and I wish I could have stayed longer. —Very nice decor; hip and upscale. —Excellent access to public transportation and to a train station. —The Belvedere is about a 20 minute walk away. —The staff were mostly 'matter of fact. ' Not mean, but also not quite friendly. Might be a cultural thing. —They can book an airport transfer for you. It's about the same price as an Uber. ROOM —Bed: Very comfortable. —Bathroom: clean, w/nice sized shower and great water pressure. —Good sized room. —My room was near the elevator and I thought it would be noisy, but thankfully it was not. BATHROOM —Very sleek: white tiles, glass shower, excellent shower head and water pressure. —Fluffy towels. —They provide shower gel in the shower. —They don’t provide any lotion. BREAKFAST — Some say it's pricey, but you could maximize the cost by making a fresh carrot/ apple juice. Make sure you have enough time to graze, take a piece of fruit for later in the day. Def has a nice variety of breads, beverages. LOBBY —Welcoming lobby; spacious. —Funky decor, but in a good way. —Nice working space; a place where you just want to hang out. NEIGHBORHOOD —The neighborhood seems to be in transition; there was a lot of construction in the area. —There were coffee shops near by and a small grocery story near the train station. Cons —You have to go in the basement to use the iron and ironing board. —I don’t recall that there was a phone in the room.

Very nice and stylish Hotel. Very clean and super beds. The Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Tram is directly in front of the door and in few minutes the city center. So perfect for the next Trip to Vienna. Thank you.

Great hotel concept with online booking and the room key in the App. Rooms are clean and decorated in a modern style, the Lounge invites you to linger.

Great ambiente, fair pricing. Location is great (very close to the main station) also has a tram station right outside the door. The sofas in the lobby are just the best.

Nice modern hotel with an emphasis on self service. Cosy common areas, minimal decoration in the rooms. Due to a small design flaw, the bathroom tended to become inundated round shower time. The breakfast was ace though.

Very nice boutique hotel. Nice room and good breakfast. Would have appreciated a fridge in the room and complimentary coffee and tea but otherwise very nice. Near train station and the Belvedere Palace.

I've been to several business trips in Vienna, stayed here and had Breakfast. The accommodation is modern, bright and open furnished. The spacious Lobby is welcoming, decorated and furnished. The rooms are modern and use the App, the door can be opened. Wi-Fi is included in the price. Again and again I'm happy to be here.

Modern and attractively designed Hotel. The Lobby or the Breakfast area is very cozy (coherent place, great interior, lots of plants). The staff is very friendly. The rooms are a little small but comfortable and modern. The Breakfast is manageable, but very good. What I most room to improve would be: a mini fridge (without content and Selbstaktivieren), electric kettle (at least to Rent), TV interferes with Sitting/Working in the room — > perhaps on a Rail to the top to be movable, the possibility to Reposition the pink Backrest in the Seating area so you sit across from can, USB male connector on both side of the bed What I have for Breakfast do better would be: salmon ;-), grill the bacon to make or order for the improvement of the Eispeisen (Eierspeis was not the Yellow from the Egg ;-) and the soft boiled eggs are much too hard — > this could be the guest according to taste, make it yourself)

Super Hotel, The rooms are awesome, and Especially the mattresses, I have never slept so well. The Lobby area is a madness. Happy again.

A verry unusual hotel. Nice industrial design. Great staff. Wifi on the room. Big buffet for breakfast, only 9€. All is just great.

The Hotel is very centrally located at the new Central station, close to the centre and next to the Belvedere castle. The decor is stylish and appealing. Very modern. The beds are a dream and there is everything you need in the rooms. The Lobby is with much love to Detail. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The Breakfast was one of the best I have ever used in a Hotel come have. A real find and I will certainly come back again.
