Noisy room. Unmanaged. Rude staff, and penny pinching. Very noisy room not only because it backs onto what can only be described as a void and as about 12 rooms back onto this it echoes every single sound. There was also every now and again a whirring noise and clunk, at first I thought it was the elevator but if it was then it would have been more frequent. The breakfast was good, but be prepared that if you go down later ie last hour of breakfast be prepared for less options. Both these issues were brought up to the owner/ manager on the first day. He seemed concerned and I thought he had taken them on board but he never came back to me. Later in stay I required some extra sugar and was told quite rudely by the young receptionist that these are free and as I had used my daily quota I can't have anymore. I said I wanted to speak to a manager and was told he was away. I was also informed that there was no one else (manager). Till he returns next week. So if you want a hotel room that's quiet. A hotel that cares about it's guests opinions and follows up on situations along with friendly and approachable reception staff then do not book the Zipser.

After a very hectic day still I am awake because their is no a. C in room me my 4yrs old son my husband we all just can't sleep its so hot here. Night staff so rude, first they gave us room no 205 it was stinking some gass sort of smell was coming from toilet and the Whole room was unfresh and unpleasant my small kid started saying its so smelly I can't use it following this the extra bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, no spone no water to drink… I was trying to adjust I couldn't late in night 10pm I ask to change my room they said no other rooms available … When I did complain online within a minute staff got ready to shift the room… This is the worst hotel and staff I ever come through. Will never come back again.

Great city hotel, very well located, rooms spacious and very clean.

Beautiful little central to the Town hall. Unfortunately, our Room was a bit of a Dusty but otherwise Sauber.

Appealing hotel in the Josef City. In the area there are many restaurants etc. The café in a hurry near the metro station City Hall was the best I liked. Town Hall, Castle Theatre within walking distance. Our room was newly refurbished with balcony and quite spacious. Good breakfast. Good value for money.

All very well… ti simple… clean… very well located and charming staff… the only thing I do not understand is that there are TV channels from all countries less than Spain… otherwise great… I recommend.

The hotel is not in the best neighborhood, but it is very well worth seeing. You have no prospect of anything except a Gebäusefassade. The rooms and bathrooms are decent and clean, the breakfast good. The Wi-Fi is OK. It's not very fast, but it's easy to browse. I can only recommend it because it is quite quiet outside and generally does not prevent sleeping.

The only advantage this hotel offers is that it is relatively close to the centre. There is no parking available. Also the parking facilities on the street in front of the hotel can not really be noticed, as these are continuously occupied. If you look at the photos on the Internet at relevant travel portals, you could talk straight of intent when you are quartered in rooms, which represent pretty much the opposite. The beds are old and feel like you're sleeping on the floor. The rest of the facility is joined. The bathroom is small, old and beietet not enough space to store its utensils. The staff is very rude. You will not be asked how you liked it or something like that. The breakfast buffet is absolute minimum. Starting from cheapest cold cuts on non-spiced scrambled eggs etc. My recommendation is to choose another hotel if you don't want to leave disappointed.

Good Hotel in the center. The interiors are a bit old style. Parking spaces available and public transport very close.

The only flaw is its location in relation to the shopping center etc, the hotel is very quiet, the rooms clean and spacious.
For lunch there is nothing missing! I recommend this hotel without hesitation!

The rooms are simple but pleasantly furnished. The staff will be polite and friendly with the visitors. Next to the hotel is a school. Students sometimes get noisy and have fun. I could see that someone from the staff of the teenagers threatened to complain to their director because they walked around the sidewalk in front of the hotel. I found this extremely rude and inappropriate.

In a renovated room with a beautiful balcony. Has a good breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel is very centrally located. Walking distance to the City centre and shopping streets. Loved it!

Lovely hotel very near the city center and metropolitan. Very quiet, great service, clean room and bathroom. Breakfast is worth every cent. Highly recommend it for short and mi term stays in Vienna.

In the centre of Vienna a charming hotel with a great service and super breakfast very close to the center.

The service was pretty good, the employees were kind and helpful. The location was pretty good as well and very near the Stadthalle which was very useful to me, because that was where I needed to be. The rooms were nice as well, however not every room had an AC which was a bit annoying considering the high temperatures.

If all you need is a clean bed and breakfast in a good location then it's good value for money!

Excellent hotel in the Josefstad district, right next to the Rathaus. Central and therefore suitable for those who want to walk around the centre of Vienna. Public transport close by. The rooms are well kept and spacious. Optimum cleaning. Austrian staff… a little cold and aloof. Breakfast dignified.

It's a nice hotel, good condition, but out dated. 9k for business 1 night trips I wouldn't stay the for a family trip.

Great location, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast also. It was very hot when I was there, so airco would have been nice. The bed was a bit too firm for my taste.

Clean Hotel with delicious Breakfast in the vicinity of the town hall.

The hotel is only 3 blocks away from Rathaus and Rathaus metro station. It will take probably only 10 minutes walking to the most part of city center. The hotel is comfortable. It has free Wi-Fi and breakfast (nothing exceptional, but good). I stayed in as Executive Room, which might be different from the rest of the rooms. It was renewed, the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. Nothing to complain! But again, it was an executive room. On the lower point, the doors are far from been soundproof. You can hear everything on the halls, especially early in the morning when they start cleaning the rooms. The staff was nice, but they need to improve their capacity to give instructions to tourists. They all do speak English (which is positive to the most of non-German speakers), but when they gave some directions, the information was quite ambiguous.

The room was wonderful, very big and clean. The breakfast buffet has a really wide selection. Free and very fast Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Really recommend for that price.

A hotel with a fantastic location in the heart of the city, but quiet. If I had questions, was helped at the front desk more quickly. The rooms (double standard) was clean and cozy. I felt very good and happy to be back.

Really excellent hotel. For a weekend in Vienna and have wandered off the classic sights. The hotel is well located and is within walking distance to the city. Too bad that the Internet in the foyer is subject to a charge. Supposedly the Wi-Fi but not costs — we had only a laptop. The rooms were very clean and Nice. Excellent also as breakfast. Can I recommend.
