Breakfast good, really nice staff, location fine, however beds are small, rooms are small, no view, wooden floor. Interior dated, old carpet, a bit smelly. Historic elevator, nice!

Very Nice audibility neighbors, especially if the windows and balcony are open. Reception speaking. The Hotel is clean but old.

Some rooms don't have refrigerator and safety box. Breakfast dish choice is limited amount. No AC in the room. Wi-Fi is weak and very slow. My doesn't have clock. For acknowledge tourists stores in Sunday don't work.

Was there a week in September. Very centrally located and with the charm of a good-bourgeois n pension. Something in the years has come from the decor slightly quirky but somehow charming. Very courteous and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet varied and with a wide selection. Definitely a recommendation.

Renew from a very old hotel I believe. Wooden wall and floor may be a little bit noisy. But the bedroom and bathroom is clean. The price is very friendly in vienna. Tram and bus station is nearby. It is suitable for budget traveller.

The location for what is Vienna is very good, you can take tram and in 2 stops you are at 40-50 mtrs. Clean, spacious and warm room. Good value for money.

It was basic, clean, close to old city and cheap. They have vintage rooms and the price is cheaper than the other hotels in Vienna. It is near the tram and bus stations. U-Bahn station is about 700 m far away from here, 15 minutes for a walk. It was clean. There is always a concierge in the lobby.

Home away from home. Whenever I come to Vienna, I try to stay in the Baronesse. Their modern rooms are comfortable and have their own coffee makers, their traditional rooms have a nice ambience and both room types have mini fridges and fans. The Wi-Fi is pretty decent, it goes down ocassionally, especially in the late evening, but they do their best to get it back up and running. Their breakfast area is a beautiful old cafe (now only used for hotel breakfast), it's spacious and comfortable. The staff are always friendly and helpful, whether it's needing directions, sight seeing tips, restaurant recommendations, or even to chat a bit. There is always coffee and tea available at the reception desk and a (usually) stocked vending machine on the mezzanine level with the basics (soap, chocolate, alcohol). My only suggestion is, if you're a light sleeper, don't book a room overlooking the street, the trams and street noise will wake you up awfully early. If you are a heavy sleeper, definitely book one of these rooms, they're spacious with a nice view of the trams and shops.

Large spaceous rooms while are very comfortable. Friendly staff and a great location. However, our room was situated next to a busy room making it hard to get to sleep with the sound of cars and trams. Overall an good hotel for the money.

Furniture of rooms not properly modern, sanitary and tile old fashioned, bad breakfast for a price too high (€13). Point in favor is definitely the location: within a few minutes walk you arrive in the historical center of the city.

2 star hotel/pension rated 4 by some corrupt city official. Clean, though. If you get a deal (_well_ below 50 EUR/night), then it's an okay place to crash, though the noise from the streetcar and the vague smell of old smoke is bothersome. — — — My advice: in this price range, Ani-Falstaff is a better choice, for instance.

Historical hotel a bit distant from the center but bn served by public transport.

Everyone was very polite and helpful. I regret not having breakfast there. I went downstairs before leaving and discovered that the breakfast lounge was lovely! Next time…

Hotel is very well located within walking distance of imp. Sightseeings of Innere Stadt (Vienna's 1st District), but you also have good public transportation nearby. Our room had atmosphere of the Old Vienna. It was little shabby but it had everything we needed (free Wi-Fi included). Bed was wonderfully comfortable. Staff was kind. All compliments to cleaning ladies who were in charge for our room.

With an ideal location is its large rooms traditionally decorated. The staff of the reception is very attentive and friendly.

The hotel is located very close to the Centre of Vienna
in a few minutes on foot, although about 50 meters
every 5 minutes tram pass leading in all directions.
The staff is awesome, kind and available to solve any
necessity, great breakfast, nice rooms and clean.

We looked for a hotel close to center Vienna with free Wi-Fi and found these in the Baronesse Hotel. Services especially kitchen are on poor level: no diet meals, in charge person wasn't friendly. Example: bring some takeaway food and ask to eat in the canteen at 11 AM it was REFUSED, I WAS : — (. Ask some matches or teethbrush — "Sorry sir, we don't have". Reorganization of services needed asap.

The mattresses are from the 70 ies, and a little dusty huestel! The Rest of the room is really clean! Price justified by the proximity to the city centre. All in all a good hostel for little money.

My biggest complain is that I found a little bit noisy my room. Maybe because it was in the corridor, but I remember to hear lots of noise. Not big issue, just inconvenience, but the TV was power off (disconnected from power) and lost the configuration of the remote control, so no TV while I stayed in the hotel.

I looked for a hotel where I can store my bicycle and this hotel give me an offer. Is very close to center of Vienna and around is interesting restaurants. Staff is very helpfull and Wi-Fi surprised me. It was very fast. Room is clean and cozy.

I really liked our stay at this hotel. There are plenty of things to tell about this hotel: Positive: — The people from the hotel were friendly, more than that! — The location was close to the old city, but not too close, so you have many possibilities. — The rooms are beautiful! — The elevator is amazing. — The price is incredible! Negative: — just one: the breakfast wasn't equally good as the rest of the hotel.

Friendly and obliging. Hotels near Centre (walking distance) and public transportation. Excellent breakfast, free tea from 14 to 22. Nice rooms, with clean sheets but a little stained. Quality in the price.

I came here with great expectations — since a friend of mine, local from here, recommended it to me — but the place, by far, was far beyond my expectations. To start with, the place is ultra well communicated, close to the center and with Trams less than 50 mt. Then, it's ULTRA cozy, the rooms are quite nice and the staff is just the best you'll get! Breakfast deserves a separate paragraph for sure. It's so complete and exquisite that it can serve as a Brunch. So, and to sum up, the place deserves it 4* and, for the price you are paying, you'll expect a tenth of what it is.
