Friendly courteous staff. Clean rooms. Easy access to the metro and train.

Not recommend! Wifi is not working good, cleaning staff is slamming the doors every morning, you can't open the window because street is too noisy. If you are a couple you will have two beds put together, which goes apart while you move. Hotel room like hospital room in white. Staff don't know word mining "hospitality"! Good breakfast and good public transportation nearby!

Beautiful hotel. Didn't sleep there but had the chance to attend an awesome conference.

Hotel was nice & clean. Evening meals were very nice, but breakfasts not so good. The glass shower door in our room needed a new rubber seal on it as the bathroom floor was soaked after using the shower. Could do with changing carpet as it was horrible & dated. But we did have a nice stay though.

Spent Christmas holidays with family here. Very good hotel, conveniently located for exploring Vienna. Nice staff, rich breakfast and cool bar all made our stay here memorable. Plus, the suite we stayed in was just perfect!

This hotel is not as good as it looks. First of all they will offer you upgrade for more comfort, than you find out that it is old worn out room where there is nothing as they promissed. See pictures. For all this they charge 127Eur plus parking. No excuse from them nothing. Air condition obviously does not work well in top floor. So where is nore comfort?

A normal hotel for your money. Its parking lot. 15-20 minutes on foot to the center. There are a lot of people on holidays. The rest depends on the people. I liked it.

Breakfast is great. A little noisy room in the second floor during the night because of the traffic. Good restaurants close by and museum area also very close like the city hall and parliament as well.

I checked in early afternoon today and I noticed that the room is really warm so I turned on the AC. I was so tired so I slept but was woken by the warm room. I went out round 8pm but left a message at the reception to have a look at my room as it is really warm. I cam back 1 1/2 hrs later & noticed that the room is still warm. When I went down, the man in the reception whom I spoke with ealier said, "I told you the AC is not working in the hotel. " I said, you did NOT say that! He just told me to open the wi dows! I'm so tired so I have no choice but to open the windows as he said but it's not enough & as I'm on the 1st floor, I can hear the noise from outside. Their service is rubbish, I checked in early that afternoon, they should have told me that the AC is NOT working! Now it’s late & I have no choice but to stay in this baking & noisy hotel tonight! This is unacceptable! I definitely do NOT recommend this hotel at all! I travel a lot and I know a rubbish service when I see one & this hotel is on top of that rubbish list!

The room was very warm and airco didn’t work well. One day there were no warm water to take a shower and the bathroom smells very bad. I like the breakfast. We have lots of options to fill ourselves up. Also The staff were friendly. The location was good.

Spacious hotel room with bedside lamps, heat lamp in bathroom, hairdryer, free toiletries, delicious and big breakfast buffet with options for everyone (there was even vegan cheese! ). Wide selection at hotel bar and good atmosphere.

Nice and comfy, really had nothing to complain about. They offer tasty meals and the staff was also friendly. The hotel is located in the center so everything was near (at least for my plans). Spent two calm nights there, not noisy at all and the room was clean as well, would visit again.

Highly recommended. Everything neat and clean, good beds, friendly staff and a super — breakfast. The hotel is easy to reach, both by car (own underground parking for €19 per day) as well as by tram, bus or subway.
We were over Easter here to the Metallica — concert in the Stadthalle. 2 min. Walk!

Easily accessible by car, foot and by public transport. Staff are very friendly, great kitchen, nice restaurant, vintage historical wall ornament, spacious elevators, underground garage. Nice rooms, great hall, touching atmosphere.

Sunday on the 18th of March 2017 our Austrian Airline flight was canceled and most of the passengers were accommodated to ARCOTEL Wimberger Wien. The rooms at the 4th floor were very nice and the breakfast on the next morning was excellent but the DINNER WAS A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. At 18:00 we were sitting at the table and we have noticed that we were among the first in the restaurant. We were told that the menu is fixed and we cannot order what we want. We said "OK, please bring us 4 vegetarians and 1 beef menu. " At 19:00 most of the a lot of people who came after us in the restaurant already finish their dinner and we were still waiting for our meal. At 19:25 (after 1h and 25 min) 5 cups/bowls with soup came… Powder soup from envelops, 3 of them with some noddles and 2 of them with small alphabet letters. After 20 more minutes at 19:45 we were among the last from our group in the restaurant. Our waiter, a thin guy with short dark hair and funny ears (it is just an observation not an insult) with an arrogant attitude simply ignored us all the time and when we asked him what is taking so long he turned his back and commented something not very nice. Finally at 19:50 our second dish came… some SIMPLY boiled barley or wheat in a huge plate with 3 quarters of a mushroom in each plate, I am not exaggerating! Now we were very hungry and started to eat but SURPRISE the wheat or barley or what it was, it was hard — REALLY HARD — to chew!

Next Home in wien. Joes bar is always fun.

Very nice hotel, great — modern rooms and right on the U6 and city Hall or Lugner city — very inexpensive and very good breakfast! Friendly staff.

Since I had a professional business in Vienna, this hotel was booked by my company for two weeks. The rooms are very nice, except on the carpet floor I have nothing to fault. The wellness area is also pleasantly designed.
What made the stay a nightmare, however, were Are the construction work that takes place at the hotel. Drilling penetrates the entire building. Even on the 7th floor, you can't sleep like this.
For a two-week stay, where you have to work late into the night and want to spend the day in its four walls, it is unacceptable.
As a hotel with such prices, guests can feel such a situation, is incomprehensible to me!
No reaction from the hotel to make the situation more pleasantly unbelievable!

Nice hotel. The U6 is close by. 5 stars, even though the belt is just outside the door.

The room would have been fitted, however, it stank clearly by canal, the water in the shower did not trickle down and there was no remote control for the TV. Everything was not so bad, but the receptionist did not respond to our complaint, but just said it had to be checked. No excuse, no inconvenience, no discount.

It's not a bad site although I think you have a spare star, it's closer to a three star than a four star.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. They have vegan dishes. Super recommended.

Close to the shopping area and 15 minutes from the museum district, spacious and clean rooms, fantastic morning buffet, x dinner (clearly not included in the price) instead, if you are a vegetarian like me, you should let him know in advance.

We visited the place during Xmas. Hotel is located conveniently close to train station and bus stops. The rooms are clean and big, we had two minibars which were being filled every day The breakfast is also ok, with good variety of fruits, and cheese.

The rooms are extremely small but clean. Double bed was on the wall, which I find just bad and a no go.
In the bar, which is very nice, there is plenty to drink, but no wine list. I can't understand that, especially in Vienna. Prices in the bar too high.

Good Hotel in a perfect position. Close to one of the railway stations and close enough to the city center. The furniture isn't quite updated but very well kept. There are rooms for conferences, a small gym with spa and a garden. Good value for money.

Good spacious room, two chairs. Minibar in the room. Bottle of sparkling water included with the room. Air condition in the room. The room got a little stuffy during the day but Windows were possible to open. Corridors were a little tired and the walls in the room had marks along it. The hotel has attached restaurant of very high quality.

We arrived last night. The room is nice but too hot even we turned off the heat. Front desk staff were not very friendly. I have to say the reception was not very friendly. As a matter of fact we were attending a conference and the organizers had paid for our accommodations but they charged us again. I heard from my colleagues that they also made the mistake with them also. As everyone said the breakfast is great but the staff at the front desk really should be trained better.

A bit far from the center but well connected. Facilities and breakfast good, with details of courtesy and a lot of education.

The Staff was very nice and there was a lot of room and the bathroom was very small. The only good things are the breakfast plentiful and the cleanliness.

Quality room at a good price in Vienna. Great location to explore Vienna as Subway and tram stations are right next to the hotel.

A really nice hotel with kind staff. Location is good but not the best. Rooms are clean, although the walls are a little dirty. Haven't eaten a breakfast yet, but happened to catch the lunch which is magnificent. The food was better than top-rated restaurants. Normal fee for the lunch si 25€, but they reduced it to 15€ as it was almost over. Overall, I would recommend the hotel. Edit: had breakfast and it had various food, all of which very tasty.

Very comfortable and with a great breakfast!

Hotel is well located. Not to far from the main tourist attraction. But the best part is there are a number or trams, buses you can catch from right across the hotel. Which makes getting to anywhere in the city a breeze. It is walking distance from Westbahnhof station so catching a metro is a easy as well. Rooms are comfortable with cozy beds and spacious bathrooms. Best part is that the safe is wide enough to even fit a laptop when you leave. All in all you wont be disappointed with the rooms, Higher floors are better.

Very nice and classy hotel. Clean comfy beds and nice spacious bathroom. Towels and shower soap provided. The only reason for losing 1 star is the shower door was broken and kept swinging into my face as I tried to shower. Otherwise everything else was great!

Very nice spacious bedroom. It was comfortable to move around and get work done. The bathtub was also big enough to fit any standard European adult size. A safe box that functioned with the entrance key card was included inside the closet, but the fact that it worked with the key card made me a bit skeptical. Non smoking room. If a kettle and a fridge were included, this experience would have made it up to a 100℅ :) Breakfast was great, rich in vegetables and fruits, apart from different kind of breads and meat. Compared to other hotels, breakfast here was one of the best. People working at the reception were kind and friendly at all times. Great location in the city, I would totally recommend staying here.

Refined artistic International friendly attentive to the needs of the customer, with me they were very helpful. Located near the Danube in the ultra modern architectural area of Vienna you can admire many details in its interior and exterior I loved the lights that illuminate it. Convenient for those who travel by Metro the stop is in front of an under step connecting to the Hotel. Perfect for vegans!

Overall, the location and facilities are very good. I attended a 4 days business meeting at the hotel, the food each day was to a very high standard. The rooms are fine and in good condition. The only negative point is the very slow Wi-Fi connection — just about handles email but nothing more.

The reception staff was very friendly. We had booked a junior suite the first time. Basement with WC, fridge, TV and coffee maker. The staircase up then the sleeping area with fridge, TV and bathroom.
In the late afternoon maid came to set up the beds and to place the curtains on the floor. Above, it was very warm despite air conditioning up and down. How is that in the summer, when it's now out there already inside to warm at low was.
We had the balcony door but all night open, the street noise not really bothered us. The head pads are divine, you feel like on clouds, as the ceiling. Immediately, I'd buy the pillow, if there where to buy it!
Otherwise, it was something else to live. Everything very clean and pleasant.
The food in the restaurant was once again wonderful. A shortcoming: the 2. Campari Orange were no ice cubes. That doesn't.
The breakfast buffet is always our highlight for our stay at WIMBERGER, because that is really unbeatable versatility and pampering. Strawberry mark, fruit salad, real honey Combs, salmon, Marmorguglhupf, and much more can really enjoy the breakfast. That is not all days and for us is pure luxury.
In-house underground car park is super, because it doesn't matter to me, parking fees are high, main thing, my car is safe under roof.
We have booked already the next stay.

We had a Hof offer 3 nights here and felt more than comfortable. Have in the campaign "give bees a change" made with and therefore the beds (such as at home) home-made. Anyway, the room and the bathroom was always clean! Street you can see already the traffic noise, but in what city it is not so. The breakfast buffet was really the finest of the fine, rarely before so much selection of fresh food had.
We were all in all very pleased and we will come again certainly! But then with friends or family.

In the spa area hard crashed because the ground is there extremely slippery, partly because the tiles not ribbed… hip and back pain always noch… vielleicht you could just in sensitive areas (after stairs Jacuzzi) place mats. Back from 18 for three-night guest.

Despite the separate booking of the rooms were next to each other — very closely. Map was offered at check — in. Excellent Breakfast buffet, even with farm butter — much better than Butter in small plastic containers. Breakfast coffee could be better, and possibly vending coffee would be an Alternative. The Spa area with the beautiful view, I liked very well, as well as the possibility of the alpha lounger to try. Also the possibility to dispense with the daily cleaning, in favour of a donation, not can I find good as this is for short stays really necessary.

It gave the reception a bit of a problem, because I have to get out of Euro tours a Voucher, but the reservation but she. The other time was very pleasant, the beds very good and the Breakfast very varied and excellent. Like to come again.

Short holiday with friends. The room and the bed were great, very comfortable. Positive is also the good damping through the window. To hear although we slept to the street, hardly any street noise. And very comfortable, the curtains very dark room conditions could be created. Only negative point is when a really great Breakfast buffet. The multi-vitamin juice was already. My partner took two strong trains. The Breakfast was then terminated for you. We have pointed out a gentleman from the Service to the broken-down juice, and he disappeared with the juice container. A couple of seconds, he appeared again, took a ladle to the unrühren and returned again a couple of seconds with the same container. A fly in the ointment of an otherwise very nice stay.

Difference in quality between Superior and comfort rooms are ridiculous… Almost Rechtswiedrig I think the stress of the credit card as a "caution" on arrival €30. — for any expenditure… I'll go to my lawyer to look at it… I was a regular customer at Wimberger have to recommend due date default now wanted to test once again changed — so fast not again… am also a customer (run a management company), the Hotel…

Unfortunately, I didn't know that we are housed in the first floor room 115. In addition, a dance event took place, which was loud and for a restless night. Next time I would add at the time of booking of the floor. The first floor and the rooms on the basis of the volume (event, road) were disastrous. The Breakfast room was well attended, is a good thing, only the present staff in the buffet area was overwhelmed in my opinion. I had to cover my table, because after a 15 min wait still no one has felt for the Cause of the table, although the staff around stood, looked or "abusive g'". The staff at the hotel's bar has a Smoking and entertainment in the Smoking area, more preferably as a waitress in the Bar (After a 10min wait I was informed by a guest, the waiter is Smoking a cigarette. The front Desk staff was always friendly and tried hard.

Sunday weint: appealing buffet on offer. Caution when the musicians: sasha Hakeem palh bottom level was musical.

The extremely snotty girl at check-in first notified me that breakfast was fifteen Euros per person with her nose in the air and out of joint gave me a good picture of how much I'd like this hotel. I liked it about as much as Sisi (Empress Elisabeth of Austria) liked Vienna breakfasts, that is to say, not at all. Or Vienna itself, but I'll save that for another review. The room was nice, but the tub in the shower had a v-shaped bottom that squeezed your feet together tightly when you were standing in it, almost like Sisi's mother in law that hated her (Sophie) designed it herself. Then you have to crouch down, because the shower head is too low, so you have to do this contortionist-like crouch with your feet together tightly and bent over to take your shower. Then there's a big drop to the bathroom floor when you step out, so you'll break your a** if you don't pay attention. Which you won't be, because they've also placed the drain under your tightly squeezed-together feet so your're standing in a foot of water at the end. The last night we were there, they allowed a production crew to have a party with loud thumping noises going on til one AM, and when my wife called to complain they told her to pound sand. So here's me pounding sand Arcotel.

That's even seen a hotel was four stars, but gone are the best of times. A renovated room was promised, but was already a few years back (including dirty grout in the bathroom). Otherwise but clean. The pool and fitness area are not worth. To simply stay for a few days in Vienna but in order.

We had a seminar, the sevice + room was good. Unfortunately, the payment / accounting was anything but easy. Therefore ' only ' 3 * by me.

Not a business hotel! The staff is friendly and attentive, but the accomodations are stuck in 1985. No A/C to speak of, never found a spot where Wi-Fi worked well, conference rooms were cramped and stuffy, and the only computers available might as well have been on Windows 3.0. Decent cut-rate hotel. Do yourself a favor, look a little farther out for something more modern if you're going when it is warm. If you do stay and need Wi-Fi, go 1 block North and 1 block East (opposite train station) to waschsalon (laundramat). They have strong and free Wi-Fi. You can also wash your funky unmentionables for about 6 euro.

This hotel is too hot, from bottom to top. It was 20Deg C outside, but inside, incredibly warm (>30°C) ; very unpleasant. Broken airco in the room, no adequate support to either repair or change room. Next day my computer was stolen from the room; no break-in, so.? How did anybody get in? I do not know. No proper response from the hotel. Also price vs. Quality of the hotel wasfine, public transport is nearby and good. Hotel is just a bit to far out of the center is my opinion. Clean room, low noise level, Good shower, nice room. Parking Euro16/d, Breakfast Euro20pp I did not use; no opinion.

I made a reservation through Expedia for 6 nights in this hotel for my parents who were traveling in Europe. During the third night of their stay at 2:00 AM in the morning somebody broke into their locked room, when they were sleeping. My mother woke up from the characteristic noise of the door lock click when it is opened by an electronic card, and when somebody sneaked into the room she started screaming. The burglar (s) run out before my father woke up, and luckily without taking anything valuable. My parents immediately went downstairs to the reception and told what happened, asking for an explanation on how can someone open the door to their room with an electronic card from outside. The receptionist (Tanya) called somebody else (Benjamin), then they called a third person, then a fourth, then chatted about something among themselves and came up with a genius suggestion to reprogram the card! When my parents asked whether that will ensure that nobody can break into their room again, they basically shrugged their shoulders. Nobody from the hotel bothered to come up to the room, check the door, or the lock, or anything else. It must be mentioned, that the rooms in this hotel have safety boxes, that are locked with. Yes, the same electronic cards that get you to the room.

Very good location. Mostly European guests. Amenities geared to them. English works well but a good knowledge of German helps a lot with any problems or more complicated questions. We did enjoy our stay here. Breakfast is a bit expensive but there are some nice places nearby including a very good bakery. Also there is a Billa at the corner where you can pick up something in the evening for breakfast in your room. Only caution : make sure you actually get your E 50.00 deposit credited back to you when you check out if you haven't used the minibar or anything else it might cover.
