Nice comfortable rooms, friendly staff…

Best Family ever! the best service in the city!

Convinient place to stay while u r in a short business trip.

Hotel location is conveniently central to lots of activities. Hotel is old and poorly air conditioned. Staff customer service is poor, and not responsive to our needs. Would not recommend this hotel.

Great place, very clean room and clean and new bathroom, great European breakfast buffet, friendly staff, central location in the middle of Viennese life. I had a wonderful 10-year wedding anniversary stay for 4 nights here. Would chose this place again.

Was in this hotel in July with the 5th by the 9th number! First, the location of THE VERY COMFORTABLE for a tour of the city is a lot of interesting in walking distance! The hotel is old with a triennation of stry and off-field. It's nice and very original. The standard European breakfast is nutritious and veus-free without frills. The staff are a separate topic t — as it is PEOPLE who try to understand and help you even if you speak only on Russian. If I'm going to get to this beautiful city of Wena then for me Hotel Royal THIS IS WHERE I REALLY LIVE!

Excellent location, courteous staff. But basics like tea bags n creamer kept in room are charged n heavily… otherwise a pleasant stay.

Room very well insulated, hardly any noise audible neither from the inside nor from the outside. Clean rooms. Beds too hard for our taste. Very good location right next to the cathedral. Rather moderate breakfast, in the dining room it was far too loud and too hectic.

Great hotel. The location is absolutely perfect. Most of the museums, galleries and so on are within walking distance. Clean and spacious rooms. Good variety at breakfast (bonus points for the fresh juices). Staff is friendly and very helpful. Definitely will visit it again.

Great location adjacent to Cathedral and Metro stop. Easy 15-20 minute walk to Opera house and Hofburg Palace and gardens. Traditional hotel, friendy polite staff and excellent buffet breakfast. I had small single room, with larger single bed, spacious and spotless bathroom with walk in shower. Air conditioning in room, TV, digital safe, though no tea ir coffee making facilities. I found the bed very firm but it depends on your preference! I will certainly stay here again when visiting wonderful Vienna in the future.

Stayed in the hotel for 6 days, loved it!
Pros:-Of course, the main plus for the tourist-the location. In the center, a stone's throw from St. Stephen's Cathedral, 20 metres from the metro.
— Besides, I was very pleased with the sound insulation of the room, the neighbors we did not hear at all, although we are sure they were. The double doors to the room also contributed to sound insulation.
— The third-breakfasts, the composition of the dishes does not change, but they did not have time to get bored. Scrambled eggs, hot vegetables, sausages, a variety of cheeses and sausages, yoghurts, muesli with various fillings, including fruit slicing, buns, juices, coffee and tea. We were provided with a packed lunch at the early check-out (before breakfast).
Disadvantages (not even call them special disadvantages) :-I did not have enough cooler on the floor to be able to drink tea in the evening-at the entrance as collateral for the mini-bar need to pay an additional 30 euros, but at the check-out we are calm returned, just plan your budget Taking into account this cost.
— The system with the return of keys to reception at the exit from the hotel seemed to me a little unsafe, because on returning the keys were issued to us without presentation of documents.

For the third time we visited this wonderfully centrally located hotel. The breakfast and the service is impeccable. Room Tip Top and priced okay.

Hotel in the heart of Vienna. The rooms are simple but spacious and clean. Good bedding. Everything you need for the bath. The lobby is welcoming (the carpet, the old armchairs). You can see the pictures of many celebrities (especially from the opera world). The restaurant offers a varied breakfast, a pretty rich choice of dishes, good service.
A very good value for money.

Good value for money. Staff respectful, despite my bad English tried to adjust to me and explain something or answer all my questions, which is very pleased. Breakfast is standard Continental. The coffee is just wonderful! Put on the table personal Termokofejnik-for such coffee as I am beautiful! The location of the hotel is gorgeous-the center, near the cathedral of Stefan. Near Metro (U1 and U3 branch). A lot of shops and cafes, walking accessibility to many other attractions. And even if zaplutaete, you will always have a landmark where to keep the direction-this is Stephen's towers, visible almost everywhere.

Great location! Breakfast is very good, especially the fried vegetables. However, there is no kettle in room for guests to make tea and coffee.

Absolutely beautiful building, very helpful and welcoming staff. Cleaning service for our room was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn't have chosen a better hotel to stay in. Absolutely brilliant.

Parking is not available here, the car becomes a parking lot for 35 €/day chauffeured.

Very quick check in and friendly staff. Excellent location right by Stefansplatz. Room are of good size and comfortabe, without being luxurious. Big and modern bathroom. Very clean. The "twin beds" are actually two single beds put together but it wasn't a problem for us. No coffee machine in the room, but many cafes nearby. I recommend without hesitation.

Excellent location, right in the centre of town and next to a metro station. Rooms are clean and functional but not special in any way. Breakfast is excellent. There are two restaurants on site. Staff were helpful but not particularly friendly. There are no tea and coffee facilities, I guess they want you to visit the rooftop bar instead. Price is ok considering the location.

In the morning after 1.5 hours looking for a disabled just toilet we were already very depressed because we heard constantly only one no sorry, but then we thought to ourselves a tasting at a hotel and actually make us go to the toilet even though the restaurant Was still closed. We would like to thank you very much for this once again.

From the outside, this hotel doesn't look particularly beautiful, it looks more like an office building. But from the inside, it's fantastically equipped.

We Stayed at this hotel for 15.10 to 03.11. Very good location. And it's all good. Breakfast was good. Old Squeaky beds. Under the beds is a meter dust! The View from the room was in the wall. For that money, 60.000 on Ostroka and 68.000 on Buhin, that's definitely not an option. Yes, and three races out of power.

It's the best place to stay if you want to enjoy Vienna every minutes… out door is shopping with all the brand names of the world. Next door is the biggest Church and many museums around here… the hotel is not new, but it's very clean. Food is very delicious. The cost is very reasonable with very good service and best location like this hotel. I will recommend for all my friend and people to choose here when they visit Vienna.

Booking well in advance the price is interesting. Great location, allows you to visit Vienna on foot. Less than 2 km from the Prater that I reached in about 25 min.

Close to the city centre. Very nice hotel, authentic style. Isn't cheap, but worth it. The beds aren't that soft, and not that large. So with a softer, higher bed and pillows the experience would have been better.

The hotel was very nice — although quite dated. The air conditioning worked well, which was needed whilst I stayed there! The location is fantastic, very easy access to a major underground station, and the centre of the pedestrian shopping area. Typical Austria breakfast served in one of their two restaurants.

“Great hotel with history and great service” This is a great hotel which can look back at a long history dating back to the 11th/12th century. The entrance hall is welcoming and has a gorgeous wall painting depicting the Turkish invasion. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful and speak multiple languages and will do what they can to help you. Check in is easy and you are directed to your room. The rooms are nice and spacious and clean. The room was equipped with air conditioning and ample space to sit and work. The beds are comfortable and whilst I would have preferred some more pillows that is a personal preference I would say. The rooms are quiet and well presented. It's a great balance between old and well kept. The hotel is very central and provides for easy access to the town centre or for walking along the water front.

Do not take the extreme room next to the staircase. The staff usually use this staircase and wake you up early in the morning.
The rooms are nice but some don't like old fashioned furniture.

"The waiter called us liars" It was a horrible experience from the get-go. It took them a long time to start serving us, and to be honest the appetizers were pretty good, however it took them a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes to start serving the main dishes. We asked about the main dish every 20 minutes "since it takes 20 minutes to cook based on what the waiter said". He was rude throughout the serving of the meal and the drinks, and was annoyed every time we asked him about the status of the main dish. By the end of the 1 hour 20 minutes, we asked them to cancel the meal because we had an event to attend, and then we complained to the manager who called us liars denying that we actually asked several waiters about our meals. We asked for the bill, and he included the two main dishes we didn't even eat on the bill. It took a while to convince him to take it off the bill, and he consisted on being rude throughout the billing process in the end. We were the 1st in the restaurant and 7 other tables got their appetizers, main dishes, and desserts while we were waiting for the main dish. I'm not going to say they are racist per say, but they are definitely rude to say the least. Definitely do not recommend to dine at this restaurant, unless you want to be called a liar :)

Terrible experiente. The worst service I've ever seen in my life. The water that served us it was so rude, make us wait about 10 minutes just to have the menu.

Was 2 times. Second time consciously returned. Excellent price-quality ratio, excellent location. Good breakfasts.

How does this place average at 4.5 stars right now? The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I've slept on in the past few years — springs in your back! It felt like a hostel bed rather than a hotel bed. The room was old and musty — so nothing great about the rest of the lodging, either. I WOULD say that the breakfasts are good with a nice variety, presentation, and service (which are included). Also, the location is stellar — in the center of the city and in walking distance from a lot of local sites and places to dine.

Recommended accommodation in the Centre of Vienna. Nothing to complain about.

Food was really excellent! Were there… with a Menuinfo voucher and that has let us also feel the staff! Very good food, albeit at very high prices.
Goods again… again with a daily deal… but whole 6 days after ramp-off voucher… where we have extra previously called and it was in the says we should pass easily, then you could make something (after all, we pay also the voucher)! When we were there we were treated more than condescending… No CHANCE to redeem the voucher.
Well… the last was definitely times that we were there… so you can scare also the clientele is!
NEVER AGAIN!
