My review has direct connecting with the Restaurant (not hotel) as my husband, my friend, and I were searching nice cozy place to have a dinner after a long walk in the city center. First of all, I highly DO NOT recommend this place but what I do recommend is to avoid it. From outside the restaurant looked very nice and cosy. But when three of us have entered the place, we were offered a big round table in empty room (of course, could be that they did not have place in the main room for all guests). Because the prices were very friendly, we did not expect anything special. Just a nice simple dinner. And after at least 40 minutes (! ) of waiting when my cooked fish arrived (which is a piece of frozen salmon you find in any supermarket) it was rock-hard and very fat. I had an impression that that they directly started cooking frozen fish without any preparation. Together with spinach noodles this dish looked like I would cook being very tired or having no clue how to cook. The 'main' waiter was very rude, and when we told that we would like to pay with the card he very impolitely said smth like 'Card? Then go there! ' and when my husband was paying he commented 'Ahhh, Deutschland', whatever he wanted to express. I do hope that our very bad experience is not a usual thing in this place and people are treated are much better. Even if they are young.

Wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Whether snow, storm, rain or hot summer day: In the cosy ambience of a Mediterranean designed courtyard with real trees and plants, you can relax with a coffee in the cosy sofa. The manageable coming and goings of the hotel guests can be observed. A point deduction is still available because a hotel in this location and in this price range with such a "Würschtel stalls menu" is simply a no-go.

Amazing hotel and an amazing guy on reception who was very knowledgeable and helpful. He really made the stay at the hotel great with his service. The lady on 14th Feb serving breakfast was also excellent and helped us with our broken German as we are learning still. The rooms are big and decorated traditionally and the atrium part in the middle of the building is lovely. Conveniently situated for everything it's a great hotel and I will be back again in the future. A tip for any travellers to Vien is to get the Cat train to and from the airport. When u leave you can check your bag in at the city centre train station so you don't have to lug it to the airport or around the city all day. If you want to get the most out of your day like I do bearing in mind checkout is about 12 I think, you can check your bag in and still walk around site seeing that day you leave. So it's like you don't lose your last day and you can get a later flight home. You can do this 24 hours before departure and it's only major airlines so check first (Austrian airlines and 3 others from memory).

An amazing and historic hotel situated in a quiet street metres away from Stephansplatz. A real hidden gem. Lovely courtyard for a quiet drink and relaxation. Superb staff.

Very close to the Stefansdom (3 minutes walk). With Ueberdachtem courtyard and just next to one of the houses in which Mozart lived. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good.

To the restaurant — neither interior, food, nor service made it completely convincing. We have come back home with very mixed feelings. The food was good, but at a level that now also reach better suburban wirtshäuser, the service seemed somewhat grumpy at first, but then Taute after a while, but in the meantime, although the place was almost empty seldom look. I think an investment in modernization (also of interiors), however, with regard to the particular style of the old House and an appreciation of the map and kitchen would help the house to meet its reputation again.

Hello, I got a candle light dinner from my girlfriend for Christmas.
Last week we redeemed it, and you have to say it was a pure insolence.
We went into the restaurant there was something gemüffelt but we were greeted friendly.
After the staff took our jackets off, we were led to the room.
And here the cheese starts to stink…
We or My girlfriend ordered a candle light dinner, and we were put on a table that was covered for 4 people, although behind us was a 2 person table.
I asked that we be able to implement, well that was also easy, but I definitely expect a suitable table deck, and not a 0-815 tea light a salt and a pepper dispenser which also did not fit together. The tablecloths had stains, and was not exactly beautiful, and please if you put up cutlery for a 4 course menu then right.
Next to us was a wooden grate, and behind it it was dusty and not really cleaned up, generally the atmosphere was not really the greatest.
The waiters were very friendly and always tried.
Now for dinner, I do not really want to express myself, it did not taste bad but for a price of 130 euro I expect something else. Just a small BSP. A hearty semolina dumpling soup of beef. I had to spice it up a lot, and I would have liked to ask for some magic. In addition there was 1 small semolina dumpling in there, looked very unloved out unfortunately.

Often we eat with Daily Deal vouchers and got to know again and again quite great places, mostly we were also satisfied with the service.
Today, unfortunately, I have to say that it was only mediocre, we were expecting more.
We redeemed our voucher for an asparagus dish in the "Restaurant King of Hungary" in 1010 Vienna.
Wonderful ambience, we were the only guests at the beginning. Public holiday 13.30 h
On the spot we had to find that the restaurant is no longer directly under the hotel's property, but is apparently run separately. So far so good!
We ordered a soup outside the voucher, for which we waited 30 minutes! Mind you, we were the only guests at the time!
The cover, bread and butter, ok, but only white bread is already very rare in the selection we offer in pastries and bread.
On drinks we ordered 1/8 white and 1/8 Zweigelt, the (auxiliary) waiter brought 2 times instead of the Zweigelt a white wine, then we explained in the explained that the Zweigelt is a red wine, then it worked!
The soups were good, but not outstanding, and I ate a beef soup better elsewhere. No real revelation.
Almost a beaten hour after we got to the restaurant, we finally got the main course. In the meantime, other guests also came, a couple came long after us and got the main course earlier than us!
The service was unobtrusive in the truest sense of the word.

We had a 4-course dinner at their restaurant, it was quite nice, the staff was professional, the ambience was on a level, it was a bit strange though that the place was empty on a Saturday night (not very popular? ). The food was quite tasty, and the portions were abundant, one bad remark though — we had the duck breast and it was underdone, the skin was not cooked enough and too tough to eat.

Traditional hotel with style and flair, in the middle of the city centre, perfect location, definitely recommend this Vienna-style hotel. Staff is friendly, courtyard area is perfect to have a quite tranquil time and/or work on your laptop as Wi-fi is free and speedy.

Cozy boutique hotel in the heart of the town. Perfect room, very nice breakfast with lots of choices, very friendly and professional stuff.

Spent one night there almost 30 years ago. It was wonderful then. Dining room was first rate. Don't know about now but at least a jacket and tie was more comfortable attire for dining. Wonderful menories of our experience there.

The location is near Mozart's apartment in the heart of Vienna. It's an old hotel with old hotel charm. Service is expedient and done with a smile. You need a shaving kit, they got you. Need an iron to press your shirts, they've got you. Every evening you're greeted with a nice chocolate by your bedside.

Cozy hotel with newly renovated family suites, or should I say duplex condo/apartments. These rooms are luxuriously spacious and are perfect for a family of four (2 kids plus two adults). The ideal jumping off point for a few days in Vienna.

Expensive, waiters was ugly.

REALLY bad food. Appetizer variation consisting of ready Mayosalaten. The chips were OK. Dessert variation was tiny. Incompetent and unfriendly waiter. Massively overpriced. Never again!

A star for the friendly atmosphere. The restaurant and the service is to forget. Hands off!
Order of the 5-course menus and an aperitif.
Starter variations school in as raw salads from the canning, accompanied by a tiny piece of smoked farmed salmon and a herring salad.
Then a tasteless cream of pumpkin soup, which tasted like the Knorr-Packerlsuppe to four times would be extended.
Followed by a lime sorbet, which has probably never seen a lime only from a distance. The glass, the sorbet was served in was damaged.
Already we had finished our appetizer, but stayed at the wine bottle provided already in a wine cooler.
Only when I deliberately clumsy himself attempted to do the job of the waiter, he hurried up, opened the bottle, gave me something to the cost an and waited until I had tasted. I taste, and let me see the bottle. It turned out that he had brought me a Burgundy instead of a mixed set.
He disappeared and then came up with the right bottle and gave up.
For the rest of the meal, we gave to ourselves — otherwise we would have died of thirst there probably.
My partner Gets the fish variations — without fish cutlery. The green beans were the best. We like them like crisp — anyone else would have said they were still raw.
The fish was too salty completely a disaster.

The rooms to see from my point of view properly. Also tables etc are clean and gefplegt. The greeting in the restaurant is friendly. The previously gekauftern 5-course menu ordered, including the "soup of the day" and a selection of entrees. Neither the soup of the day selection of the main dishes were decently explained, later marriages, we have the same waiter for an older couple exactly these points explained in more detail. We would due to our relatively young age (around 30) are treated differently? It gave bread, which the optics after the Original by Hofer could have been (it fell to my accompaniment), to a loveless Mischungaus including herring with onions (fresh from the jar), smoked salmon (fresh from the package) and other Brotauflagen of similar "quality". The 2. Gang — the soup of the day… it was — as almost all of the course with considerable time interval between the previous and subsequent course is served (like all the gears each to be a long time to wait let). On demand we were told, it was a pumpkin soup. Color, flavor, and chunks of other vegetables showed us but the fact that it is a vegetable soup was, unfortunately, also a pair of arms Kürbisstücke into it had lost their way. 3. Gang "lime sorbet" — probably a normal Finish-lemon ice. The Five course menu was invariably a disaster. Bland, unimaginative and unacceptable. The chef should be ashamed of the Service is allowed to hire back.

To the Hotel, I can say nothing but the dining experience was not just a joy. Dirty glasses and patchy Cutlery, long waiting times for tiny portions and flavorful, unfortunately, not so exhilarating.

Perfect service and location.

One star is still too much — hardly ever so miserable eaten! We had the fünfgängige menu. Selection: loveless hingeklatschte Heringsalate (leftovers from the Heringschmaus of more than a week? ), a small hard piece of Mozzarella with pale Tomatenscheibe, DAB of carrot and celery salad (canned). Liver dumpling soup broth: thin beef soup, absolutely geschmackloser liver. Dishes: Vanilla Ice Cream (! ) instead of lime sorbet (waiter: lime sorbet is likely to be from). Main course: angetrockneter Tafelspitz (by the way, not, as announced, "the car") with ungenießbarem Erdäpfelschmarrn (in the old frying fat fried! ), tiny Cremespinatkleks, "Chives"sauce with counted three rolls with Chives. Dessertvariation: hingeschlamptes, discordant mixture of vanilla ice cream (again), a Minifragment dry, tough Apfelstrudels, slice of orange, Kiwistückchen, Zwetschkenröster, Creme brulee (Dr. Oetker? ). This schnulzige music. Shame about the beautiful house.

Visited a Tuesday evening. Quite, attentive staff, good food and wine. Had gullasch, the house special, and some not-pancakes with plum jam. Most excellent.

So, I don't know where to start. I can make no statement about the operation of the hotel. But unfortunately the restaurant in which we us unfortunately got lost. First €5 only for the cover and a small inconspicuous aperitif for € 6? The service: rude and incompetent. The kitchen. Incredibly, I knew not the chicken offered medium-rare (no it is not, salmonella risk! ). After we are missing our waiter that the cover cost on a map or in words made aware we were loudly advised that this was practice for 20 years. I can only warn and hope that these lines kept some tourists from this rip off/trap.

There are many modern design hotels in Vienna, but only a King of Hungary.
The classic style of the hotel is unique and since recently also 11 new rooms with all modern comforts + contemporary styling is. The ultra modern penthouse apartment is truly stunning.
Otherwise dominated in the KvU quiet tradition, quality and pleasantly old-fashioned serenity. Heavenly, if you relax from the hustle and bustle of the city + just wants to relax. Hard to believe that's a few steps away so quietly goes to from the hustle and bustle to St. Stephen's Cathedral.
The location is central + the optimal starting point for excursions in all directions of the city of Vienna. Opera, theatre, Hofburg, Cafés and shopping possibilities for every taste + purse can be reached in a few minutes.
Maybe not all the latest 'trendy' guestrooms Zeitgeist (s. O. ), but that is the charm and the distinctive personality of the House more than made up for. Very well maintained and very comfortable lives of the guest in the KvU anyway. The staff is exclusively competent, helpful + welcome, kitchen and bar offer best quality. The men at the reception are without false + blame — very old school! — and provide silent service at the highest level. I'm glad that there's so little yet.
In the KvU we feel in good hands and quite at home. We are looking forward to the reunion.

Mini portion for relatively big money. Loveless arranged food and poor quality. In addition 5 euro per place setting, an absolute frechheit! The ventilation pulls one in the neck, so that it is half sick the next day.
